Spitz is a fairly new restaurant in Lehi. It serves what we would call in Germany,Turkish style food. They specialize in what's called a Dönor and it's basically a Mediterranean style wrap. It's really good. Instead of the typical lettuce inside you'll find cabbage with very lovely seasoned chicken, lamb, or beef. In the summertime they have lovely seating outside. This place was surprisingly good! They called themselves Mediterranean street foods and it is rated based on just that. I was hoping for a gyro but instead got a gyro with a twist, it is called a Spicy Doner and instead of pita bread as a wrap, it was Lavash bread,however it was delicious but I would of liked more moisture in my wrap. I also ordered the loaded fries with the beef and lamb, garlic aioli,feta, olives,red onions,tomatoes,green bell peppers and the perfect amount of seasoning. I felt satisfied and still have a smile. Even better, in my car while going home, my to go left overs perfumed my car so much that I wanted to dig in again. I recommend the fries. I also wished they stayed opened till 10 pm as it is a great place to go grab a bite after a movie. read more

Tried Spitz for the first time last night after wanting to for a long time. The decorations were fun, the employees were great and the food was okay. I got the street cart fries, the sweet potato fries were kinda hard and I felt that it needed a bit more sauce but overall they were okay. The restaurant was very loud, we had to pretty much yell to talk to each other and there wasn't a ton of seating. My father got the zesty fiesta sandwich and he loved it, so if I ever decide to give this place another whirl I'll probably try that. I think this place got too hyped up, it was good but I'm definitely not itching to go back. read more

This was a good place to eat. Someone helped my group find a place to sit together. We all found something we liked. I got the mediterranean wrap with chicken, and it was great. Very disappointed with this place. A couple of months ago we went and had wonderful sweet potato fries that were crispy and hot and delicious. Last week we went and the same sweet potato fries were soggy cold and yucky. We will not be going back! read more

Soooooo good! I'm a travel nurse working for covid relief and I came by on the way to shop for some new work shoes at the outlets. I celebrated my day off with a glass of Malbec (they serve wine and beer ) and the doreman bowl. The lamb is delicious and all of the different sauces. You guys are my new fave. read more

3.5 stars. The atmosphere of this place is awesome. I love the vibe and the feel of the place right when you walk in. There is a couple things I think this place could do to make it better. I know they just opened so there is gonna be some things that aren't perfect. When I go to places though I like to review honestly as possible. If I'm being honest it's not a 5 Star experience. First off the table set up is weird. And when it got busy on a Friday night there wasn't a lot of seating. Yes outdoor is a option but what about when it's cold. Second thing his they have 3 high chairs... this is Utah county lots of babies. A lady was literally standing by our table eye balling us til she saw I went and got a to go box and asked if she could have our high chair because my youngest was sitting it. So they could benefit from getting some more high chairs especially on weekends. Next I ordered and payed attention to who was in line right by me and after me. Several tables after me got their food before me... my husband and I were waiting for a long time I was about to go up to the counter and ask if they got our order when it finally came out. When it came out my fries and meat were luke warm barley. Then I started to think that if I have almost cold food and that people that were behind me got food before me that maybe my food had just sitting in the back? Despite it being almost cold the flavors were good. Both my husband and I agreed flavors were on point. Another thing though if you are gonna have soda behind the counter and offer refills by asking and filling them up then you need more staff to go around and do that. Yes it's opening week and these are all things that brand new places generally have struggles with but that was my experience. I think we will give it a try again and I will update my experience. Idk how soon because I would love to come back when all the little kinks are worked out and give them a 5 Star. I feel like the food would have been a 5 Star if it was warm. I used to love Spitz Street Cart Fries w/ chicken but I am so sad and disappointed. I had just gone to the one in Draper a few weeks ago and loved it. This time they served it with some sort of imitation / McDonald's type of cheap chicken. It's sad to see another establishment take the cheap route. read more

Awesome atmosphere! Really cool art all over! It was super crowded and they didn't quite have enough seating and our food took about 30minutes to get to us. Now it was lunch time rush so I won't hold that against them. I got a wrap called Dönner and Pommes with mixed meat and regular fries. I thought it tasted great and healthy. I would say their meat tasted a bit on the dry side, but they had a great garlic aioli sauce inside to offset it. Fun place, but just not to my taste so probably won't go back unless someone else pays ;) read more

Food was great, customer service SUCKS. The guy taking our order was not very patient and when asked a question about the menu, he threw the menu at me and said, "this is what we have!" If you eat here, just be prepared for rude employees-- especially the guy with the mustache who "just works here". :) read more

I really like the food, all of it. I think I'm doing something wrong though. Every time I order a wrap it explodes in my hand and I end up eating paper. I stopped by on the way home today and got a wrap to-go. Not gonna lie, I was more than excited to eat the wrap and thought I could manage it in my car. My very first tug on the paper and it was spot welded to the wrap and the whole thing fell apart into my lap. And it only got worse. Paper was stuck to the wrap the whole way around and it seems like Spitz wraps the paper into the wrap so you have to unwrap it out of the wrap in order to eat the end of it. I honestly feel like I'm not eating it right. To the point that I think maybe I'm supposed to eat the paper because of how horrible of a mess it is trying to eat normal. I really hope I'm not the only one. Other than that, street car fries are awesome and all the food I've had there is awesome. Would love to be able to get my own drink and refills though. read more

Staff was very friendly. Flavors were delicious. I was a little disappointed on the wrap. One side was only one layer of wrap and all the delicious food inside was bursting out, while the other side of the wrap was like 4 layers and tough to chew. read more

I love Spitz! Spitz is a great spot for Mediterranean street food. Last night I went and my date and I ordered the Doner salad with beef/lamb, the street cart sweet potato fries and a kids meal quesidoner. (Kids meal is an amazing deal and definitely more food than a kid can eat.) It was all really delicious. The flavors are so good! I must say I don't love the chicken at this lehi location, for some reason wherever I get it I'm not super impressed (never felt that way at the salt lake location), but the beef/lamb is always on point. It's a fun ambience, unique art on the walls and lots of color. I didn't get these last night but the cinnamon churro pita strips are so delicious! read more

Yum yum yum!!! My husband and I tried this place on a whim and we were not disappointed! My husband doesn't even like lamb but he got the beef/lamb street cart wrap and he loved it!!! I got the chicken Mediterranean wrap. It was so good! I wish their fries were a tad bit hotter when they came out but they were still delicious! It was a fun place to try but I don't think I would go there again. The food taste good but leaves you with severe garlic mouth. Their street cart French fries were really good and my favorite thing we tried. All three meats were good and I'd recommend the mixed meat. The orange sauce that came in the garden bowl remix was the most interesting flavor, it wasn't spicy but felt spicy, almost like horseradish but different. read more

Food is good. Nice spot at Thanksgiving point. Service was not good. They messed up my order by adding a spicy sauce to my wrap. The spice is strong and is probably great for those who like it. I took my wrap back to the counter to let them know and ask for another half that didn't have the spice. I really had no desire to eat another half with that level of heat. The person at the counter argued with me that it didn't have the sauce just by looking at it....really? What a jerk. I've been to spitz several times and i feel like my experience is always typically the same. I come in with really high hopes of good food and i leave unsatisfied. I think part of the reason that i don't enjoy it as much was after being in Europe for extended amounts of time I've had the same thing from little shops in big cities for cheaper and every time it was better. I feel like maybe the quality of ingredients might not be up to par or it's just not as good. I'm not really sure what it's missing, but i would go to like Greek city grill if i was looking for really good Mediterranean food. read more

This was a bad experience. We have liked Spitz in SLC so it's too bad. Our veggies were all frozen, they left out sauces and they put beef instead of chicken. My husband isn't allowed to have red meat so he didn't get dinner. read more

I've been to a few locations and this one wasn't quite the same. The wrap had all the meat in the middle and veggies at the end. And street cart fries had very very little sauce so it was mostly fries and diced green peppers. read more

Not impressed at all. Got the remix bowl and the meat was way too dry. So was the whole bowl. Had to drown it it sauce, but the meat was still dry and almost like jerky. I've had FAR better Mediterranean food at other places. The food was very salty as well. Fueled Fresh, Core Life, Zao are all far better options. read more
