We were there in October, so we really paid attention to the candy prices. It LOOKs like you're getting a good deal, but you're really not. They're actually just selling smaller bags for the same price as larger bags from Walmart. You really need to check oz per cost to figure out the best deal, which is how we do it.

I will say to be warned that the food items can sometimes be expired, crushed, melted, stale & just old. I threw away 2 things I got last visit due to tasting rancid. There is a random variety of things from linens, pillows, rugs, books, building supplies, even furniture, tools, toys, gardening supplies, cleaning supplies, electronics, clothes, etc, etc. It does seem inconsistent though so what you may have found here one day may not be there the next. Prices seem pretty decent but considering some of the snacks I got ended up right in the trash, maybe the prices can be a bit lower as some items are old stock that bigger box stores and buy outs can't get rid of. Worth a trip to check it out but definitely be mindful on what you throw in your cart.

Plus, they're open year round! I wish they carried: 1. Better quality wigs -- If we can order a good quality cosplay/costuming wig for $10 from China but have to wait 5 weeks to receive it, we would be HAPPY to give you $30-40 for that same wig in order to get it the same day. 2. Better quality make-up, such as Kryolan, Ben Nye, Snazaroo, etc. They only carry Mehron, which is subpar in the costuming makeup community.

He alone should get 5 stars. He made my kids day! The store does have an amazing selection and sizes. Pricing isn't bad. I would say very comparable with what's online. Not to mention they will let you take costumes out of packaging to try on to make sure it fits. This is a must with a kiddo like mine who is 6 years old, but wears a 7-10 in some things. The dressing rooms are very tiny, cramped and dirty (FYI) Either owner or employee has a small dog NOT on a leash. They said he has an issue with being touched around his face and will snap but doesn't bite! The dog came up to my SN kiddo. Given my boy has a service dog (and his LOVE for animals), the dog presented himself as loving, so my boy said, "who is a good dog?" The dog proceeds to take the submissive roll over scratch my belly flop. My boy goes to rub his belly and the dog snaps at my boys hand. He got freaked out. They claim he doesn't bite, but he did. He got my boys thumb. Nothing serious at all, just a nick by his upper nail bed, but nevertheless he shouldn't be out if there is a chance he can snap. My boy never did anything to scare him. So I was pretty upset. It bothered him the rest of the day, and given my boys weak immune system a dog bite could be horribly dangerous! The dog should not be roaming store especially if young kids are in the store! Period!

Luckily, they are not only well stocked with crafting supplies and decorations, but well stocked with staff as well. It's always easy to find a worker and ask them to help you find something.
