I do like vintage shops and I don't really have a phobia about buying used items, but stuff just seems a bit pricey here and the selection wasn't great. Don't get me wrong, there were some sweaters for $12 but they looked like used $12 sweaters. Everything that I thought I might want was no bargain at all--like $60 to $125 dollars. I just can't do that for used. There's a large shoe selection.... I have a harder time with that. If you like the hunt, then I would recommend. I've only shopped here, never tried to sell stuff. I am writing this review after reading so many rude and disparaging comments by other reviewers. First of all, follow the rules people. The guidelines are very clear and you should do your due diligence in learning what is and isn't accepted. I have shopped there on several occasions and don't find the employees, selection or prices too different in comparison to other high end consignment stores. I think the confusion also lies in consignment vs. thrift store. Again, do your research. I agree some items are too expensive, at least for my budget. I either pass or come back and check to see if item is on sale. Often times the price has been reduced once or even twice. They also have an entire mens section. Everything is clean, nicely organized and well stocked. My only issue is that I prefer to have my rejects back to donate to my own charity however,Echo keeps what they don't want to resell and donates to the charity of THEIR choice. I have zero idea what has happened to this place. The prices have gone up tremendously and the quality has gone down. I've found a J. Crew button up missing buttons for over $30. Really?! Gap dresses are priced for more than what they cost at retail. When I found two identical dresses priced differently, I asked why. I was told different employees price differently and they would only honor the higher priced item. No thanks. I used to love coming here but you can tell the business model has changed. The customer service is shoddy at best as well. No one greets you when you walk in nor thanks you for stopping in as you leave. I can't begin to explain how much I love this place! Echo has quality high end gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories. They have brands from the gap to prada. Excellent selection of shoes. Every item is organized by color and category. All of the pants in one section color organized and dresses and so on.. This place is super clean has no funky smells like most places that sell used clothing does. Their prices can be high on some items that the items are 5 plus year old which is a little crazy to me but I do like that they mark all their items down that have been there for some time... you can snag a great deal on items especially if you find them on sale! They have tons of sportswear for women too if you play tennis or a runner. Although I did notice they don't have a large selection of sneakers. This place is incredible if you have expensive taste and on a budget come in here - you won't leave disappointed or empty handed probably! read more

Wow! This shop advertises used high quality clothing at a lower "consignment" price- but pricing still seems pretty steep to me! It would make more sense to go to the original store and buy the product brand-new... $40 for pilling J. Crew shirts, and $37-$50 for GAP Jeans beginning to rip on the inner thighs? I'd rather just pay an extra $10-$15 and buy a perfect pair that hasn't been used. I understand that items are marked down during their life in the store but these discounts are minuscule. The only discounts of a considerable amount are on items that seem impractical for everyday wear. read more

Nice and organized store. Next door is Echo Men and has a variety of selection for men as well. Like always, you can find reasonable prices as well as higher prices for designers clothing. Echo shop is one of the best consignment stores in Tulsa! I am a shopper and seller at the Echo Shop. Echo has high end, gently used clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories. I have found very nice Seven jeans, as well as cute tops. They have Tory Burch, Coach, Micheal Kors, and many more. The store is very full of clothes, so you will really have to take time to look...but it is worth it! I also take my clothes and handbags here to re-sell. The clothes that the shop does not take are donated to the Goodwill or other projects around Tulsa. Every couple of weeks, I call the store and I am so pleasantly surprised by the money waiting for me! It is so great that I can shop and make money here! I love this Tulsa thrift shop. Please be clear that it is a consignment shop, which is much better than ordinary thrift stores. Area ladies bring in their slightly used name-brand clothing, shoes, and handbags. They are priced by Echo Shop and sold to consumers. My favorite purchases there include a gorgeous Fossil handbag, a Vineyard Vines sweater, and various Ann Taylor items. Their prices are fair, and they discount the pieces that have been there a while. Next door they offer Echo Men which I have never ventured into, but it may be worth a look. I haven't tried consigning any clothes there, and I understand they're very choosy, but that's what makes it a great place to shop. read more

Pleasantly surprised! I live on the other side of town and happened to be in the area. I decided to stop in and was pretty impressed! They carry brands like BCBG, Prada, Loft, Banana Republic, Diane Von Furstenberg, and many others. It's more for the fashionable middle-aged women. I'm 47 and found great styles at amazing prices!!! Was treated abominably rude yesterday. I asked to speak to the owner, the girl there said she was the only owner (yea right) .. I left my business card and no one has contacted me . The girl yelled at me for asking to subtotal my purchases one by one before I bought them . She said because there was a storm . I would have bought so much more if she wasn't such a bitch to me . This is my all-time favorite consignment store. I get a majority of my work professional clothes from here. They don't except low quality or cheap brand items, so all of the clothes available for purchase are of high quality, good brand, clean etc. Prices are appropriate for nice thing, not unreasonable. read more

So, anyone who knows me knows how much I love to shop thrifty and take pride in scoring great deals but have no problem never stepping foot in one of my former favorite stores again! Since this particular shop doesn't allow reviews on business page, I'm "checking in" so they get reviewed anyway. Decided to consign a good amount of new clothing a PAWS member donated. These are all name brand, new with tags, current and was told to only bring 20 items in initially so employees could look and decide from those if bringing in the rest was necessary. I did and the 2 employees went through each item, and agreed that they were good. I even asked if any couldn't be used so I could take back to car, as they told me to get all my items to bring in. They informed me that they were wanting all. I brought 4 more loads in, and as I was filling out new consignor card, what I can only imagine was their manager came over and told me that there was no need in continuing because they were not taking my things. Handed me a form with guidelines and desired brands of clothing they accept. The 2 employees seemed shocked and scurried off while none offered any kind of help taking clothing out to car. I understand if they wouldn't or couldn't accept my items. That's their right. What I don't understand is wasting my time, being rude and condescending, and not even apologizing or helping fix mistake. They should be on the same page. I shopped their frequently so I know what brands and condition of clothing they accept. Btw, I had more than 16 out of approximately 30 of the brands on form she handed me. I found the woman to be the utmost disrespectful, tacky, and uppity woman I've probably ever had displeasure of dealing with. News flash lady, you work in a consignment store in Tulsa Oklahoma!!! Not Hollywood Blvd. You're up there in years, and your own style leaves a lot to be desired. I've shopped here for years; it used to be one of my favorite places! In the past I've bought GAP jeans for $12 and it was a wonderful thing. I was in the other day and spotted another pair of GAP jeans that I wanted and they were priced at $22! I'm not paying that for a used pair of GAP jeans when I can get them on sale or at the outlet NEW for about that same price. Don't even get me started on the designer jeans...$50-$60 for used jeans?!?! But I found the woman behind the counter to be rude, seeming to me to be irritated when answering my questions, and repeatedly and loudly warning about the upcoming closing time. I used to use this to consign clothes at this store, but no more. Recently tried to consign very fine quality items purchased from exclusive men's stores with private labels. The store refused to take my goods saying they only took "high end" brands. A slap in the face to me, disrespectful and rude. I honestly love this store, I've been consigning here for ten years and have never had a problem. Sometimes the clothes can get a little tight on the racks but it's worth it when you can find tops that retail for $100+ for only $10, brand new with the tags still on them! I like coming during the week because it's a little calmer (there are SO many people shopping there on Saturdays). They do markdowns frequently so the prices get even cheaper, but if i have my eye on something, I don't like to wait for it to be marked down because in the past, everything cute that i wanted had sold by the time i came back! I purchased a COUNTERFEIT GUCCI HANDBAG! I have shopped at this store for years without incident. I purchased a Gucci Handbag for Christmas. I paid almost $500.00 and found out that the bag was a FAKE! I called Pam, the Owner and she told me that the lady who bought the bag in for them to sell was from a "wealthy" family and that this bag was purchased over in "Italy". Pam, the Owner also told me that she could not "trust" that I would actually be returning the same handbag that I purchased from them. Pam was not willing to refund my money, nor was she willing to try and make this transaction right. I would NOT recommend this shop due to insulting and defamatory nature of the Owner's remarks towards me. I am still working on taking the handbag to the Gucci Store in Dallas to get it authenticate or unauthenticated. read more

The store has completely transformed in recent months--apparently the real owners have returned--and to be honest, the place is fabulous now. Much calmer.
