Now Scott. the owner also maintains an Etsy store and I assume probably one on Istgrift too as well given his price structure. He also maintains a website. . So I messaged him on his website directly about a certain piece that I wanted that was the exact dimensions that I needed. He really had no interest in helping me. I said what is your price with shipping and I did not ask for a discount. He says I'm not currently discounting THAT piece and shipping to Fort Worth will be $390 plus tax. And I was like well then I consider coming up to pick it up if it is in your store ?.. no it's in storage. $1700. I guess it's not a big enough sale for this guy. But after reading the reviews in here and how he denied a girl in a wheelchair access to his store, I think the guy is an A1 A hole. I'd skip this one. And I certainly wouldn't make the drive a third time from Fort Worth to go see him.

This isn't your typical record store, it's a full-blown subculture experience. The walls are plastered with band posters, punk art, and stickers, giving the whole space a gritty, underground vibe that feels authentic and alive. The vinyl selection is stacked with punk, hardcore, metal, and obscure underground releases, but that's just the start. You'll also find music related books, rare band T-shirts (I spotted gems from The Smiths, Bauhaus, and Venom), music action figures, and more oddball treasures that feel like they're straight out of an old-school zine ad. After spending a rainy afternoon perusing the shop, being inquisitive about the items there and getting to know the people who are making this shop happen, I somehow felt connected to the the owners. I don't know the owners in any other capacity beyond being a patron of their business. However, I am looking forward to my next visit to make a donation to their shop. So no, they are definitely not giving me any freebies. Lol The couple who run the store bring a good vibe to the space and everyone who entered while I was there contributed to it. I sensed a space of community. I am more inclined to support businesses where everyone working or shopping there seems content to be there. The selection is reasonably priced. The items are in good condition. I appreciate the range of variety and the quantities in each category. They have a little of everything. Not too much, and not too little. Of what they do have, it's of utility. The exterior is decorated with creations the resourceful shopkeepers put together by repurposing items that were not sellable nor usable for their intended purposes. I didn't ask if those works of art or items of new utility were for sale. If you happen to find yourself roaming along hwy 97/alt hwy 75 I recommend stopping by the former bread store next to the funeral home.
