Lots of clothing and items plus low prices. I want to buy something every time I go there. Clerks are helpful and pleasant.

During my visit though that 3 of your 5 or 6 registers were closed, and the line to wait was building up at that point. If the units are not working, then they should have an out of order sign on them or a closed for service sign. With that many closed, it made for a cramped exit from the store, since friends and families were waiting together. There was no effort made by staff to keep the flow going safely. I did manage to find a few items I was looking for,but not all on this trip.

Five Below, y'all have officially lost your d*mn mind…read more I went into the store today for ONE reason: I needed to grab a couple of cords because I messed one up doing Amazon Flex. Five Below usually has them cheap, so I figured I'd run in, grab what I needed, and get the hell out. First of all, let me say this: **that store is ALWAYS a hot-ass mess.** I hate going into this particular location because it doesn't matter if you walk in five minutes after the doors open or in the middle of the day--everything is disorganized, cluttered, and thrown everywhere. Nothing is where it's supposed to be, and even when things are on the shelves, they look like somebody just tossed them up there and said, "Good enough." But today was a whole different level of ridiculous. There were what looked like seven registers, but only TWO were open. And instead of the normal setup where you check yourself out and an employee verifies your receipt at the end, there were two employees standing there scanning everybody's stuff. Fine. Whatever. Then the FIRST thing I'm asked is, **"What's your email?"** I said, **"No."** She tells me, "It's corporate policy." Excuse me?! So now I need to give Five Below my email address to purchase a couple of cheap charging cords? **Absolutely not.** I have enough junk email already. If I WANT to sign up for your emails, promotions, coupons, rewards program, whatever the hell you're offering, **I will sign myself up.** Don't stand there at the register acting like handing over my personal email address is just another requirement for purchasing merchandise. I literally thought to myself, *Y'all have got to be kidding me.* And no, I don't care that I have a junk email address. I'm not giving that to you either. Why would I voluntarily sign myself up to receive a bunch of promotional BS I never asked for? If giving you my email is REQUIRED for me to purchase something, then you can keep the damn merchandise. I'll go somewhere else and spend my money. And honestly, that's the part that irritates me the most. **If customers want to receive your emails, let THEM choose to sign up.** Don't automatically assume that every person walking into your store wants to hand over their contact information just to make a purchase. Five Below, I came in for two cords--not a damn pen pal relationship. And between the email situation and the fact that this store is perpetually disorganized, you're really making it hard for me to understand why I should keep shopping there. **If I want your emails, I'll ask for them. Until then, ring up my purchase and let me go.**

My 22" white gold necklace broke within a week of purchasing and the cross I ordered took about 2 weeks to ship and then I didn't even get a call when the store received it. I returned them both for another chain, but am still having issues. Kay's bank has taken weeks to get the refund/exchange taken care of and my balance has been wrong for weeks. So now I'm waiting on a dispute phone call from the incompetents who don't know how to enter information properly. Great people, but with all the crap over the last month plus, I should've gone elsewhere.

I checked to see if the box was tampered with during shipping and it was not. It was very well sealed and why would someone take one and not both necklaces. I boxed back up everything and took them to a Kay's store in Tulsa, OK at Tulsa Hills. The manager, a lady, told me they are not affiliated with online orders. What!!!!! I have never ordered from a store online that I could not take it back to their stores. I was told to call corporate, which I had to ask the manager for a number, she had already returned to her office and had dismissed me. I turned in a claim and was told they would get back to me in two weeks! I was being treated like I did something wrong, when all I did was trust them with my money and to send me my necklace. DO NOT buy from Kay's! If they mess up your order they treat the customer poorly and do not own their responsible for their mistake. I feel the manager should of acted like she cared that Kay's made a mistake and called corporate office herself to see if the problem could be solved. I now just have to wait to see if they will send me my necklace or just ignore me.
