I'm so sad this is my all time favorite hiking and backpacking store and I've been in several times so far. Today we were shopping for my husband some trail runners and nobody offered to help us. We stood around for a while just waiting and nothing. We left and went to Scheels.

Quality outdoor gear. Camping, biking, kayaking, hiking etc. if you need a cool Christmas gift for the outdoor seeker... this is a good stop. To be honest... I'm spoiled with the REI in Oxnard California. So this store seemed very minimal in comparison to me. But maybe it's because they did just open up a couple weeks ago and are still stocking. But they do have nice things.... And if you need any gear or REI brand T-shirts, mugs etc. this is your place. They offer a membership of a one time fee of $30 and its lifetime. If you need to make a return, you have a year with the membership if not, you have 90 days. I got my membership back in California with a special offer. So ya... Just a heads up they will ask you about purchasing one. REI is a co-op owned company. This location is right next to a new Dutch Bros so grab a hot cocoa and go shopping!

Love this store! They have great clothing and accessories…read morefor men and women who love the outdoors. They carry Prana, Patagonia clothing and Carve Design swimwear for women, just to name a few lines! For men I love that they carry the Travis Mathew brand for golfers. Also lots of other men's clothing lines and accessories. I'm going to get stuff for my husband here, love the look! The owner Jeremy is super nice and helpful, but not pushy at all. He just told me that they will be moving their store to the Rose District in Broken Arrow the first part of October 2019. That will be an excellent location! Check out their store!

Dear Ascent, Thank…read moreyou. Thank you for you! I walked in with a very vague shopping goal and the staff was patient and so very helpful as I figured it out. I ended up getting my husband an anniversary gift there which consisted of a unique Patagonia jacket and some gloves that will allow him to wear while operating his i-phone. Even though my budget only allowed for this, I spent a lot of time in this cozy store and was inspired to do some more adventurous things and get geared up there. There is a shoe, kids, gear, mens & women's section with lots of variety in style. If you don't see the size you need, the store will order it in! The location is awesome on Cherry Street. There are a couple other active wear stores on each side of Ascent so all of your active wear needs can be met on one block of shopping! Ascent gives a 10% discount off regularly priced items with the Oklahoma Keep it Local card! YES! Love me some Keep it Local OK. Let's get ADVENTUROUS, Tulsans and be outfitted at Ascent!

25+ years at this location and another 10+ in the promenade mall as "Mark-It" store they still have…read morethe hold sign hanging up. This store is loaded with Tulsa history and legends. There's only a couple of the original employees left but overall they've kept it real with Tulsa and they most importantly look after their customers. Which is hard to find anywhere, they don't order anything from a local distributor like everyone else in town they actually attend the trade shows meet the people behind the companies and really put effort into getting the knowledge about the products. For a fact the one who goes to order the products at the show tries everything himself and he's never steered me wrong. They legitimately want you to just have. Greg experience whether you buy anything or not! They've been doing it for two decades now, that to me says something. They've also given so much back to the community, they still host FREE skate,BMX, Scooter, quads and inland skate lessons every Saturday from 11-1 despite their neighbor behind them really teaming up with the city to have their skatepark taken away. Huge loss for the kids in the area as well as business. of the 25+ years this is the only time I've ever heard of a neighbor negatively coming at them. You can look it all up , it was really cool to see the community rally in support but the lady obviously knew so one important. They're like family when you get to know these guy. Their used to be a lot more familiar faces but they definitely had to cut their crew size in half so definitely go support these guys; real locals, real t-town boyz TTB, this is where it all began for Tulsa skateboarding. Any skaters in Tulsa that are legitimately great skater were either employed or sponsored when they had a skate team, it's definitely the best place to buy your vans they're $10 cheaper than the vans store on most of their shoes, plus all the sale shoes they ALWAYS have plus the vans full price and so,e sale stems are an extra 20% off!

Seriously this place has the best customer service every time we go it's consistent. It's the…read morefriendliest staff in town and rivals Chick-fil-A. If you're looking for a BMX bike or skateboard or cool shoes check it out. Tons of options and modifications.

We had an awesome experience renting e-bikes from Tom's Bicycles in Tulsa! From the moment I…read morereached out with questions before our trip, the team was super responsive and helpful, making it easy to book and reserve everything ahead of time. We rented two Marin Sausalito E1 e-bikes and they were perfect for cruising around the city. The bikes had smooth pedal assist that made our 36-mile ride feel effortless, especially with Tulsa's mix of river trails and city streets. We even brought our own seats for extra comfort and the staff had no problem mounting them for us. They also provided locks, front and rear lights for night riding, and chargers so we could juice up the batteries overnight. When we arrived to pick up the bikes, we actually bumped into Tom (yes, the Tom!) heading out at the same time. He ended up riding with us along part of the RiverParks Trail and gave us some amazing local tips--including a few great restaurant recommendations and cool stops to check out along the way. This shop gets five stars from us. The bikes were top-notch, the service was outstanding, and the entire rental experience was smooth from start to finish. If you're ever in Tulsa and want a fun, easy way to see the city, I highly recommend renting from Tom's Bicycles!

I understand smaller, locally focused shops have to add value to their customers as a means of competing against big box. This business goes beyond what is necessary to compete. The excel and the value of our purchases there always exceeds expectations.
