If you are looking for apparels, shoes, and gears for sports and outdoor adventures, then Scheels is the perfect store for you. It is the largest sporting goods store chain that features unique attractions like a 16-car Ferris wheel and sometimes an aquarium. I love the different displays at Scheels more than anything else. They are immaculate and are giant in size. Of course, the Ferris wheel is my favorite as it's essentially associated with the store.

Scheels is such a cool place to have in Tulsa! I finally got to visit, and wow was I impressed. It's huge! Tons of merchandise in literally any sport, outdoor category you could ever want. Plus toys and candy and snacks and clothes and shoes and everything! Pricing was on par for this kind of store, and I did see a lot of clearance tags! I even found a jacket on sale that I really wanted, but not my size. I kept seeing signs saying they price match, so I'll have to check out more about that! Staff were friendly and helpful and abundant! Definitely check this place out. And ride the Ferris wheel!

I upped it to a full 5 star review because I was so shocked and surprised about their amazing customer service. My husband had bought some Hoka's and only had them for a short time before the soles were falling apart. Typically stores won't allow returns if you've worn the shoes, which he had but you could tell they were faulty. They looked perfect and like they were just out of the box until you turned them over. Pieces of the sole were falling off. No questions asked they allowed him to return them, we did have our receipt of course. They refunded via gift card which is great. Plus you can go for a $1 ride on the Ferris wheel

A quick afternoon stop to check out Scheels. Might have to make it longer on the next trip! With so much going on in this store it will take a very long time to set everything!

I had no idea. There is a Scheels in the small town where my sister lives in Iowa. I had no idea. Finally went on Super Bowl Sunday to waste some time before the game. I had no idea. I was very impressed with the higher end brands they carried, especially in the women's department (both clothing and shoes). They had furniture. They had toys. They had dog supplies. Plus it's a sporting good store with everything--I saw the usual fare but also ice skates and hockey sticks. Not the norm in Tulsa. I will be back. it's a destination.

There's a big " oh, wow!" factor here from the moment you walk through aquarium arches--with scuba divers--to the center store, 2-story Ferris wheel. There's more entertainment in this outdoor and sporting goods retailer . An arcade, bowling alley, and more will tempt children and your wallet. The ground floor includes a full service restaurant and coffee shop. The second story has a small LEGO store and candy shop. Staff were plentiful and easy to find (at least on opening day).

First time here and the first impressions are WOW

First off this is a candy land for hunters. U better bring your wallets though. There isn't too much here that's cheap. But if your in the market for the best then u will be in heaven. I spent 4 hrs waking around and loved it.

Hubby and I finally visited to see what the fuss is about. Jam packed full of stuff from clothes, toys, exercise equipment, ammo, camo, golf stuff, camping equipment and accessories, kitchen stuff, sofas and a little bit of decor....wall to wall displays with a full size ferris wheel in the middle of the store. And a candy shop. And a few photo ops set up. The entire bottom floor looked to be only clothing (we looked over the railing but didn't go down there - I just remembered someone told me there is a restaurant, guess we should have gone downstairs lol). It's like if Bass Pro and Dick's Sporting Goods had a baby. Not a new concept but I can see why people like it, if that's their kind of store. I will say the signage in this store is horrible. We were looking for the bathroom right after entering from the top level of the mall, and assumed we would see a directional marker eventually. They have a hundred employees standing around to give directions but a sign or two would help lol.

I like this store over its competitors like bass pro/ Cabala's. They have the same outdoor stuff plus a bigger selection of clothing. I also think they employ more floor staff. It feels like I'm being asked if I need help every few minutes. To me that's a good thing in a store that has so much stuff. I live in Minnesota and the Scheels near us has as 3 story fake tree in it. This scheels has a huge fish tank and a 3 story ferris wheel. Making this one way better lol. As for the value and selection they are very similar if not the same.

Cool store with a carnival feel. Unfortunately, their prices are simply out of my budget.

I assumed it wouldn't be an issue to come back a couple days later. Apparently there was a sign by the register on the counter (that someone was blocking when they were buying things) that said you have to pick up that day if you want cash for your items. Just walked in and was told they automatically did store credit and pointed out the sign. It's rare that I ever shop second hand for my daughter since she requires specific color combos on items and sizing that they never have. So I just donated 2 brand new helmets, a bat bag and a face mask for someone. Would have appreciated the employee taking an extra second to alert me to the policy instead of saying it was fine if I left. Will not be returning.

Which is ridiculous considering there is 5 items. Every time I go here they have horrible customer service they try to low ball you on every item you bring in they also charge way to much for items for example they charged 180 dollars for a bag that is only 120 brand new this place deserves to go out of business the front desk person it a moron i don't recommend shopping or selling anything here. I won't be returning.

Never again. Took a putter to them due to the shaft being loose. I told everyone I talked to (4…read moretimes on phone) that "when the printing on the grip is straight up, the club face is square"... After a call railing about how the loft was off and other issues, I again reiterated, "all i need is the shaft put back in so that when the printing on the grip is straight up, the face is square".... I got it back, (wife picked it up) and put the printing straight up in my grip, and the toe of the putter was 20 degrees to the right, no where near square. When I took it back the next day, I merely said "when the printing is straight up, it's supposed to be square, but it points to the right"... that started the fireworks.... FIRST the old guy THREW it onto the counter (couple hundred dollar putter), and started yelling at me "DID YOU TELL ANYONE THAT??" I said "I TOLD EVERYONE THAT, NUMEROUS TIMES" He then went on to say more crap like "when you brought it in, the loft was all off, and you didn't even know it... it looks like a real putter now" he went on to say "one of my guys looked at it when we were done and said it looks better now than when it came in" (shouldn't a repaired club always look better than a broken one?)... and a lot of other bullshit, bitching at ME because they didn't get it right. Then after his being an asshole for 5 full minutes, and seeing I had started to storm out, he said "whatever you want us to do, we'll do"..... That ship had sailed... I will never take another club to baker's golf for anything.... and I will tell everyone I know and golf with about this bullshit experience..

There's only a couple of the original employees left but overall they've kept it real with Tulsa and they most importantly look after their customers. Which is hard to find anywhere, they don't order anything from a local distributor like everyone else in town they actually attend the trade shows meet the people behind the companies and really put effort into getting the knowledge about the products. For a fact the one who goes to order the products at the show tries everything himself and he's never steered me wrong. They legitimately want you to just have. Greg experience whether you buy anything or not! They've been doing it for two decades now, that to me says something. They've also given so much back to the community, they still host FREE skate,BMX, Scooter, quads and inland skate lessons every Saturday from 11-1 despite their neighbor behind them really teaming up with the city to have their skatepark taken away. Huge loss for the kids in the area as well as business. of the 25+ years this is the only time I've ever heard of a neighbor negatively coming at them. You can look it all up , it was really cool to see the community rally in support but the lady obviously knew so one important. They're like family when you get to know these guy. Their used to be a lot more familiar faces but they definitely had to cut their crew size in half so definitely go support these guys; real locals, real t-town boyz TTB, this is where it all began for Tulsa skateboarding. Any skaters in Tulsa that are legitimately great skater were either employed or sponsored when they had a skate team, it's definitely the best place to buy your vans they're $10 cheaper than the vans store on most of their shoes, plus all the sale shoes they ALWAYS have plus the vans full price and so,e sale stems are an extra 20% off!
