I had a great experience today at Sports World! When I first walked in I was greeted by adorable dogs! I can't think of any better way to be greeted. I had great service !! Dan really took his time and answered a lot of questions, showed me certain merchandise that I needed and really made sure I received the help I needed. Betsy was super supportive and kind. She took her time with Meg and I noticed. I was very impressed and grateful for the fantastic customer service I received today! It's like " One big happy family" vibes. Go check out this store! You won't be disappointed. read more

DO NOT GO TO SPORTS WORLD!! Horrible people to deal with if you have a gun that is being fixed. I have had one in there for four weeks. I have called twice and both time the told me "It's in line." That was it. I couldn't get anything else. Today I went in there and it was obvious i was a nuisance as soon as I asked about the gun. The man was even more put out when I asked what was wrong with it. And even worse when I asked how long it might be. I will never go back here once I have my product, and I wouldn't advise anyone to go there. Terrible customer service. read more

Very good selection of guns. And very helpful staff. Also pet friendly. I have bought several rifles there and the also do free work on guns that are bought there. Also their prices and very competitive and lots of sales read more

A great selection of everything from guns, ammo, and safes. I would definitely come here again.

Everything was wrong! Customer service was ridiculous, couldn't get waited on, the guy also took a customer that was after me!! Prices suck and low selection. I won't be going back there. Too many guns for sale in big box stores better prices. read more

Costumer here service is terrible they will talk to everyone except the people they need to talk to that are asking questions they. Do not keep their word on timing and I went to return something and they wouldn't take it without the receipt but I specifically asked Tim if I needed a receipt to return this he said no I go back to return it he says he needs a receipt but other than that your better off going any where but here if want real friendly people go to dinner guns read more

I don't need another pistol. I don't need another pistol. I don't need another pistol! What does need have to do with it? Have you seen the new Sig 320? I'm hooked, no time for the back ground check today, too many errands, but it will happen. Went in for targets and clays. And that is it, for today! I have walked out of Sports World with many new pistols over the years. Best selection of handguns and service in Tulsa. read more

Sports World - Great selection of targets. They always seem to have clay targets in stock. - Sporting Goods Near Me - Tulsa, Oklahoma

Great service, knowledgeable workers, excellent prices and large selection of ammunition, gun accessories, safes, knives, optics, and multiple brands of pistols, rifles, and shotguns. They also have one of the best selections of used and demoed guns at exceptionally fair prices. read more

I have shopped here on 3 occasions and bought both gun and ammo here. The prices are normal retail prices so no gouging here. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.., I got the sense they were not novices to firearms. I would call this the best place to buy guns in Tulsa. read more

Great, great, great place to go to for your shooting needs. People are always courteous and patient (for when your eyes and your wallet are at odds) while you drool over their hardware. Staff are very knowledgeable and can readily answer just about any question you can throw at them. Add to that a HUGE assortment of firearms and accessories, and you're pretty much set. If you can't find it here, you probably don't need it. Of all the purchases I've made here, I've not had a single regret. read more

Sports World - Yelp made me take a photo before I could post review ??, but seriously amazing service! - Sporting Goods Near Me - Tulsa, Oklahoma

Great selection, great prices, and great fold to deal with - Informative and helpful. I love going there.

Friendly staff and lots of different items available. Ammo and firearms are still hard to find, even here

I've been shopping Sports World since before they moved to this location. I bought a Savage in .308 over a dozen years ago and I'm still in love with this weapon, it's a real tack drive. Since my first purchase of that Savage I have bought three gun safes from them and so many guns that they are full. Leaving me in a position of needing a fourth safe for my overflow. I think that so many purchases over the years speaks volumes about their family, staff, selection, prices and kindness. I always look forward to going there and I feel like I've made friends of many who work there. I felt like this review was way over due. They're a great family, with a great staff. DW read more

Bad experience! I Stopped into the store awhile back to look at a pistol. I was followed around the store and watched by a guy the whole time I was there. He wasn't asking if he could help me with anything or even communicating with me at all. He literally stayed in my vicinity watching me the entire time I was in the store as if he thought I came in trying to steal something. It was a very uncomfortable experience and I won't be going back in there. The reason it isn't 1 star is for the fact they do have a large selection and the lady behind the counter that showed me a few pistols was very helpful and knowledgeable. read more

Food in the back gets 5 stars!!! Good, fast service. Awesome soup of the day options. Store has good selection and pricing. Only issue was that they would not let me purchase a shotgun with an out of state ID. I just moved to OK and had not gotten a new license, but did have proof of my current address. Even though the lady behind the counter admitted it would have been a legal transaction under the Brady Law, she refused to do it without me getting an Oklahoma ID. (My out of state ID was still valid.) Fortunately for them, the price was low enough that it was worth the trouble of getting a new license. (About $200 cheaper than Bass Pro.). Great store to browse or buy from. I am only giving 4 stars since a manager refused a legal transaction due to her personal preference for an Oklahoma ID. Call ahead if you want to purchase and are new to OK or visiting from out of state. read more

Great supply, Good prices and a knowledgeable staff. Great gun smith!! sometimes the dog barks at people and the food is good

I have traded with Sports World since I moved to the Tulsa area twenty years ago. It is a family owned business that caters to hunting, tactical, self defense, shot gunning and reloading crowds . I have received nothing less than great service every time I visit, most recently when I purchased a Nikon scope for my rifle. The prices are competitive with the big box stores like Academy and Bass Pro. They employ one of the best gunsmiths in Oklahoma. read more

I have always had great service here, and great deals on quality guns. I just wished they carried archery gear for a one stop shop for all hunting needs. read more

Always have a big selection of firearms, ammo, and accessories. They are usually pretty packed to, so be prepared to wait a bit.

Best Place in Oklahoma to do Firearm business . One of my favorite Families in Tulsa. I am a FFL holder and I still go there to purchase firearms . They always have a smile and are ready with your name when you come in the door . That is when they are not so busy serving the public. They are so quick to help support me in my adventures over the years...Absolutely Love Sports World.. read more

Nice store, but they do not negotiate on price at all. They had a used handgun prices at 809.95. I asked them if they would take 800 cash out the door and was told that they only accept the price as marked. They lost a sale over 10 bucks. Oh well. read more

I have been shopping with this family for a long time (25+ years). When they were located in London Square they seemed to be much friendlier/helpful. I don't know what has changed but something has changed in the last few years. Customer service is non-existent, and I always leave feeling like I have bothered them by coming into their shop. read more

I purchased two boxes of .40 caliber ammo from them and next day I returned it, it because I found it a lot cheaper elsewhere. I was told they don't do returns on ammo. The Ammo was unopened and had been purchased the day before. read more

I have been buying rifles and pistols from this family owned business for about two years now and I have to say they have very competitive prices (even during the ammo crunch) and the staff I've dealt with (Chris) has always been extremely helpful and fun to work with. I have only had a weapon repaired once with them and much to my surprise I had the rifle back the week after I dropped it off with them - something I'm definitely not used to when dealing with other armorers. Great job Sports World! read more

I had the same experience as a previous reviewer. It took 20 min. to finally get someone because they kept walking by me even when I tried to get their attention. They blew me off when asking questions on models of rifles I was interested in getting and 3 different service people had the same crappy attitude towards me. I generally think I'm nice and patient so I stuck through all them to finally talk to I guess the store owner and he just shot down every question I had even when he didn't know the answer. Guess it was lunch time for them. read more

This company is supposed to be a repair facility for Escort / Optima Shotguns Turkish made firearms. They have no idea what customer service is or how to accomplish it. I sent my shotgun in late June for warranty repair and still have not gotten it back. They and Legacy Sports in Reno, NV all blame the parent company Hatsan in Turkey; saying that the parts are late getting shipped, then they have to clear customs, etc. None of these 3 parties has ever initiated contact with me to let me know what is going on with my shotgun and almost all of my emails and phone calls go unanswered. NEVER AGAIN will I deal with these companies if I EVER get my shotgun back. If I don't, off to court we go!! read more

I stopped in here to purchase a firearm. I was told my Oklahoma State issued ID was insufficient to purchase a firearm. They said "In Oklahoma the ATF recently changed their rules where you must possess a Driver's License to buy a firearm". After my telling the three employees huddled before me that I have purchased four firearms at three different establishments in the past two weeks with my Oklahoma I'd the head clerk tells me "No", as if I am lying, and "they are not following the law". I asked them to call the ATF and ask them and they refused saying "Anyone can get one of these", implying I am attempting to defraud them I suppose. After this shocking embarrassment I told them nevermind and left. I immediately went to Gander Mountain and purchased the same firearm with a 10% discount after telling them of my embarrassing earlier experience. Thank you Gander Mountain! The following day I posted this story to the "Sports World" Facebook page with links to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations firearm guidelines. They did not respond but deleted the entire post. I would not recommend buying anything here. Although they have a large selection of firearms they are not aware of basic firearm laws, which is surprising. I will not be returning and will retell my embarrassing experience to whoever will listen. read more

This review of mine is too long & detailed for Yelp's character limit to handle, so I've included images of my original Facebook post. I hope the grouchy guy is the owner because if he isn't, the owner needs to fire him. I think I was annoying him by wanting to purchase something. This store has a good selection but if you get helped by this one individual, just walk out. read more
