Had a delicious lunch yesterday. Even though you think salads can't be messed up, they usually are subpar. But not at Spinellis. Lettuce was crisp and fresh, chopped small for easy eating as was the chicken and other veggies. And the price very reasonable. My friends had pizza and said they had never had better!! If you don't know good pizza, than this is good pizza. Unfortunately if you have ever had good pizza, then this won't cut it. They do have giant slices, and they try real hard but it just didn't do it for me. Plus side their sauce wasn't sweet and their cheese was good. Their crust is just way too big and doughy (even when asked for it to be well done), and had no flavor. I'd purchase a Little Caesar for $5 and save my money if I was craving pizza before coming here if I was in town. read more

The new restaurant in town we were anxious to be fair in judgement and tolerant as we eat out quite a bit and wanted a successful eatery to have for evening meals. What a disappointment! The salad was slight in size without any "fresh" appeal - as if unrefrigerated. The pizza was nearly without cheese!! Just tomato paste galore with sprinklings of sliced-in-halves sliced meat. Not a single person inside of the store including employees wore a mask. The main issue was the interaction between the person giving the food to people and interacting closely with them with no mask on. Also there wasn't a single person thoroughly cleaning. I've eaten Spinelli's 3 times now and absolutely love their pizza . My wife and I went out with a few friends . The pizza was great . I love the different types . Prices were reasonable considering the size of the pizza . Also I'm a nurse at the local Emergency room, and I work night shift . The late delivery times are a blessing and have kept us fed and happy ! read more

I would have given them a 3 because the pizza wasn't horrible, but it wasn't all that great. The place was over priced and then the pizza didn't have much toppings. The wait staff was horrible and didn't seem to know what to do. When we went to their facebook page before trying the place, lots of people were complaining and leaving negative reviews. But we decided to give it a try anyway. After we had not so great but really expensive pizza, we went to leave a review. The owner turned off the ability to leave feedback, reviews, or even posting on their page. If you write anything negative about the price, pizza, or horrible service, the comment gets deleted. Not cool! I don't think we will again anytime soon. But deleting customers comments and reviews, that is just low down and dirty. read more

First and very valuable advice: Do not order a whole pizza! The individual slices are gigantic and only 3.50 or so. I cannot believe there are so many bad reviews for this place. Maybe we just got lucky but you should definitely give this place a try. We started out with mac and cheese bites and salads. Both were delicious! I got the Bacon and Ranch Pizza Slice. The waitress wasn't kidding when she said the slices are bigger than the menu! Everyone loved their pizza and one Stromboli. The biggest surprise of the night was that a small pizza place in Tullahoma, TN had one of the best canolis I have ever had! The cream was so good and different then anything I've had before. This is exactly what Coffee County has needed! I had the chicken and waffles pizza and it did not disappoint! I had it with ranchero dipping sauce. The sauces all tasted homemade! My mom got pepperoni pizza and was very impressed as well. We both split the cheese bread which was HUGE like the size of an XL pizza! With a few minor tweaks this place could easily be 5 stars. Badly needed are real plates or at least something other than the cheapest of the cheap paper. Same with utensils. Bottom of the barrel cheap. The house salad needs a makeover and they could definitely use housemade dressings. Newman's Own packages are simply not good. We ordered a basic 18" pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The crust should have been left in the oven a few more minutes and it needed salt. The sauce was fresh, tangy and good but the overall pizza needed a few tablespoons more. We asked the waitress for a side of sauce to compensate for the lack of...she brought us 2-2oz plastic containers straight out of the refrigerator. So we spread ice cold sauce over the top of our pizza. Um...come on now. If someone asks for extra sauce, warm it up people! What I loved about this place is the atmosphere/decor and that I could see the guys in the kitchen spinning the house made crusts. With a small house salad and two drinks our total bill was $40 with 15% tip and tax included. With a few minor details this place could be the bomb. read more

Went to eat lunch here on the 2nd day they were open. I was in a group of 6 and we were seated and had our order placed before the lunchtime rush. Everyone ordered sandwiches. After an hour wait and a complaint to the manager, two of our group gave up and left. The manager came over to our table and talked to us and assured us that our sandwiches were already in the oven and almost done. After another 20 minutes and with 4 people from the group remaining, the waitress brought out 3 sandwiches. Of course mine was the one missing. Everyone from our group had finished eating and I still hadn't got my sandwich yet. It took another 20 minutes for everyone to pay and get their cards back. So.... after 1 1/2 hrs, I never received my food and of the three from our original group of 6 that did receive their food, only two of the sandwiches were even warm. Bottom line..., this place opened with untrained staff (including the manager that lied to us) and it was total chaos. Hopefully they will get their act together since there isn't anywhere local to get NY style pizza. I'll probably give them a 2nd chance in about 6 months. read more

The pizza at Spinelli's is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!! I love it so much, I can't skip it to order a sandwich or stromboli or other menu item. BUT, please, please, please, please do something about the wait staff and service. I have been here 4 times, two alone and two with my family. The two alone visits were during lunch (11:30 roughly each time), one visit was at night, and one was a Sunday afternoon (1:00). As for the weekday lunch visits....If you are going to offer a "lunch special" of a slice of premade pizza and a drink, please have some premade pizza. At 11:30, there was a slice of cheese, a slice of mushroom. If you do not want to offer the special, don't offer it. It is sad to come in, and have nothing to choose from. Yes, they will make a huge slice of whatever you want, but, 1) you will be paying more, and 2) it takes longer. At lunch, time is not always a luxury. It seems that this place just runs a skeleton crew, one person to cook and one to deliver, one to run register AND wait on tables. The servers I have had, one very nice, one appeared overloaded with stress, and one really couldn't answer a single question about the menu. Please try to do better because your pizza is outstanding, but my tolerence is limited, and I have been coming from Manchester just to get your pizza. Good service can make or break a business and will also cause people to be more forgiving if there is ever a problem with the quality of the food. read more
