Also, if I could casually borrow their interior designer for my own home, I would! For those who don't know, WeWork provides shared workspaces for startups and services for other enterprises. They have locations world-wide and each one differs from the next. This is my first time at the Circa Building location and it's definitely my favorite of the ones I've seen. As you enter, there is a huge communal area filled with plenty of varied seating, beautiful decor and a large kitchen-area (stocked with all the goods). There are many membership options, and from what I understand, you can rent the use of just the communal area, otherwise there are tiers to fit the needs of all businesses, big or small. Both the first and second floor are lined with offices that are filled with so many different companies. I think the community vibe is real cool in that you can have your own private work space, or you can mingle and connect with other local workers. Yesterday, there were tacos, wine, and pizza on offer by the end of the day in the big shared kitchen. Things like this aren't an every day occurrence but the point is that WeWork also partners with many other local spots for neat special events and collaborations. Not only is this place a great co-working spot, but a fantastic networking one too! (Consider this my plea for a WeWork to open in my city... Milwaukee!)

First, the SA Harbor Light building is gorgeous and well taken care of. Their lobby is hotel worthy and doesn't bely any of the interior shared spaces, kitchen, chapel, library, work out / gym area and yes, even a cute barber shop for the residents. It's beautifully done, from top to bottom. This program's management includes resident staff which adds to ownership and accountability for all residents. They offer different types of treatment models, work with males only and offer transitional housing and intensive case management for those experiencing homelessness or who are at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Love. This is humanity in action and compassion at work. I am privileged to work with both the staff and residents. I'll try and snap some pics when the pandemic is over, but if you've walked in, you know what I'm talking about!
