Luckily, my wife came up with CBug's Records in East Windsor. Our transaction went as smooth as glass. First, I sent an e-mail to see if CBug's was interested, and soon Chris mailed back, saying he was. We arranged a date and a time, and since his store is on the second floor of The Vintage Shops collective, I called him from the parking lot and he walked down to check out the goods in the trunk of our car, packed into three boxes. While he was doing that, I took the opportunity to check out his store, and I gotta tell ya, it's a music junkie's paradise. Everywhere you look are LP albums, 45 singles, cassettes, eight tracks, and a ton more of very cool music memorabilia. I had a brief discussion on price with Chris, and he made me a very fair offer that I was thrilled with. My experience at CBug's could not have been any better, and I gotta give a shout out to Chris for his courtesy, professionalism, timeliness, and fairness.

The price's are great. It's a fun store to hang out and an explore. Andrew can order items for you. There are also special release records, a vast variety of 45s, a section of bargain lps and CDs. It's in the old Crane's factory, which is a piece of history in itself. Andrew invited me to his next record show. "You've got to come." He said, giving me a flyer with a smile. "You'll love it." Good selection of modern rock, punk, alt, and 60's rock. GREAT selection of audiophile pressings. Some wild Japanese vinyl from The Who that I'M DYING to own. They know what they have, and it's priced accordingly, but stuff that doesn't move seems to get discounted (despite what Discogs says it's worth) Clean, organized, friendly staff, no pressure. I've had a blast selling off my old baseball cards (my kids don't want them) locally and on-line, A few months ago we also sold off our stamp and coin collection, except for some commemorative Canadian coins minted for the 1988 Calgary Olympics. I contacted KC's Gold, as well as a coin dealer in Toronto to gauge their interest in those Olympic coins. Fred from KC responded right away but his Canadian counterpart never responded after two e-mails. How un-Canadian of him!! Anyway, I visited Fred today to accept his very fair offer. The store is awesome, with baseball cards, coins and vinyl LPs everywhere. Fred was one of the very nicest shop owners I've ever met. He was a real pleasure to work with.
