There will be those who disagree with me but there isn't anything outstanding about this establishment. Every time I have been here, the service has been lacking. Everyone is friendly enough but they have problems getting my take out orders correct. I usually get a burger to go. Oh, yeah... fries are extra. If I'm paying $14 for a cheeseburger, you would think fries would be included. Not here. Bottom line... it's not bad but there are other, better restaurants in town.

More concerning, though, was the poor quality of the food. *The side salads were fine, except the croutons were stale. *The Toasted "St. Louis" Style Breaded Cheese Ravioli appetizer was cold. *The Chicago-style pizza was also cold and tasted like day-old leftovers. We ate only 2.5 slices and threw out the remainder of the large pizza. *The New York cheesecake was delicious. However that wasn't enough to save the meal. Unfortunately, this was a major letdown compared to our previous positive experiences, and it makes us hesitant to order from Minsky's in the future. Same great pizza for a friendly price! Rudy's has menu specials, calzones, or make your own pizza with a range of toppings and crusts. I'm a sucker for their whole wheat crust, but that might not suit those a gluten-free palate. The sauce is my thing, not too sweet and not too tangy and it melds just right with their cheese blend. Pizzas come out hot and ready and prices are right on par with other spots in LFK. If you're dining in, then know that seating can be a touch limited but your pie will come out and sit on a rack ready for serving.
