I was so disappointed because of the lack of selection in the display cases. The only things that looked edible were mini cupcakes and a cake. There was also the lack of greeting from the one dude, who looked like he didn't want to be there, behind the counter. There were two other parties that came in front of me and I didn't see him greet them either. AnyWho, there was not anything that looked good or fresh in the display cases, I asked him if this was all they had and he simply replied, Yes, they bake in the morning. Why is it open 24/7 when they only bake in the morning? I don't know if the others purchased anything, but I left empty handed. I refuse to pay for old cookies and pastries.

The fact that she can ship her beautiful sweets means her artistry is accessible outside of Kansas! If you love Japanese sweets I highly encourage you to give these a try. She uses local produce from other farmers to make her goods, including chestnuts and purple sweet potatoes. The launch of the online business is a huge step and ensures that Japanese sweets are made here and available everywhere!

I usually also like having some hot sauce on the side, but I found the red sauce to be the right level of heat for me without any additional sauces.
