The dryers are majority double and triple, at $.25 per 8 minutes, they get it DONE. I've only ever needed 30 minutes for jeans when I use wool dryer balls. That's $1.25 for 3 loads! Fast forward to this morning.. I got on Yelp and found Dirty Duds Wash house . It was almost a 20 minute drive but the reviews looked promising.. ( yes this really happened ) Walking into the laundromat our clothes fell off the basket and a super sweet older African American woman helped us pick them up . See for yourself with the pictures.. the place is super clean . And they have plants which are very well taken care of . Even the bathroom was squeaky clean . The man that was there swept and assisted those in need and he was very friendly I would absolutely recommend using Dirty Duds Wash House .

Totally Klean??? More like Totally Rude! For starters, only about 50% (maybe 60%) of their machines…read moreeven actually work. On top of that, the ones that are labeled as "working" either don't spin the water out of your laundry or the dryers barely dry. A couple of them actually function though. The worst thing about that place though was the "man" that runs the place. It was the night before my birthday and yes, unfortunately I was in there after closing time, however, I arrived with plenty of time to both wash and FULLY dry my family's clothes. See, I had to wait for a washer that actually functioned. That put timing back a bit. Well, when I get my clothes out of the dryer they were not completely dry. He stood there making fun of me and pressuring me to hurry up, hurry up, you still aren't going fast enough. I was sorting through what was dry and what didn't get dry to try to put things back in the dryer. He told me to "get my stuff and get out ". It was still pretty wet so I ended up having to go to another laundry facility once I found one that was open. So I was late for everything because of him and was still in a laundry mat drying clothes when midnight struck and it was my birthday. Not how I wanted to start it out. No one working at ANY BUSINESS has ever been as rude to me as he was and he's either the owner or the manager. He told me he didn't own it, but I'm pretty sure he does. I've seen his whole family up there before. As a side note, it is FAR from totally clean. The washers were pretty smelly and it's all torn up in there. And not just temporary construction kind of messy. It's looked like this for quite a while now. He shouldn't even deal with the public with an attitude like that. He made me so upset I cried a little and had to go vent to friends.

Only a couple of machines were out of commission and they do drop off service/delivery as well. If I need a laundromat again I'll definitely return. Do you ever feel "too good" to do something?…read more Well, I think I thought I was "beyond" laundromats. It turns out I'm not. In fact, a homeless woman recently taught me a couple of things. First, she kindly taught me to use one of the "big boy" washers. I could not figure out where everything went to start the soapy swirling. Second, she reminded me that kindness is not dependent on circumstances. She had something to teach me, and I had something to learn. Either one of us could have robbed me of that lesson--I'm glad she didn't, and I'm becoming wise enough to learn the first time around. I was there to wash some comforters that wouldn't fit in our home washer and dryers. Not knowing one laundromat from another, I picked Hollywood Coin Laundry in Norman, OK, and I could not have been more impressed. The staff were nice, helpful, and respectful to everyone who came through the doors. The place was CLEAN, the equipment was in good repair, and the clients were all pleasant and didn't mind me snapping photos of them. I have been back to Hollywood several times over the last month and have looked forward to my visit each time. Strange, huh? I wanted to see if the customer service was consistent. It was. Was the facility kept clean and tidy? It was. Did I feel welcomed and wanted as a customer? I did. There are a LOT of businesses that I frequent that I dread. I won't drop names, but many of the ones you are thinking about are the same ones I am thinking about. I wonder how much better their business would be if they were welcoming, kind, and respectful and taking care of business in a manner where their customers wanted to come back and do things that most people dread. Something to think about. Well done, Hollywood Cleaners and Coin Laundry. I'll be back with my Ziploc of quarters, my detergent and fabric softener (enough to share if anyone needs it), and a hug for my new laundromat friends.
