Clean and well run. I'm required to use at least 85 characters to post. Thumbs up for Hollywood Coin Laundry. For Yelp, I say get over yourself. read more

Do you ever feel "too good" to do something? Well, I think I thought I was "beyond" laundromats. It turns out I'm not. In fact, a homeless woman recently taught me a couple of things. First, she kindly taught me to use one of the "big boy" washers. I could not figure out where everything went to start the soapy swirling. Second, she reminded me that kindness is not dependent on circumstances. She had something to teach me, and I had something to learn. Either one of us could have robbed me of that lesson--I'm glad she didn't, and I'm becoming wise enough to learn the first time around. I was there to wash some comforters that wouldn't fit in our home washer and dryers. Not knowing one laundromat from another, I picked Hollywood Coin Laundry in Norman, OK, and I could not have been more impressed. The staff were nice, helpful, and respectful to everyone who came through the doors. The place was CLEAN, the equipment was in good repair, and the clients were all pleasant and didn't mind me snapping photos of them. I have been back to Hollywood several times over the last month and have looked forward to my visit each time. Strange, huh? I wanted to see if the customer service was consistent. It was. Was the facility kept clean and tidy? It was. Did I feel welcomed and wanted as a customer? I did. There are a LOT of businesses that I frequent that I dread. I won't drop names, but many of the ones you are thinking about are the same ones I am thinking about. I wonder how much better their business would be if they were welcoming, kind, and respectful and taking care of business in a manner where their customers wanted to come back and do things that most people dread. Something to think about. Well done, Hollywood Cleaners and Coin Laundry. I'll be back with my Ziploc of quarters, my detergent and fabric softener (enough to share if anyone needs it), and a hug for my new laundromat friends. read more

$4/ load .25/dryer 8 minutes. Dryer doesn't get very hot so you're dropping a lot of quarters. The price increase does not warrant the service/machines provided. Place is decent as far as cleanliness. read more

I have been coming here for 5 years. This place is always clean! I am so glad that Brenda is back!!. She is so warm and inviting and kind to everyone. She brightens up the place! read more

First time there. The store was clean & organized. Some of my coins got jammed in the coin slot & the lady had no problem removing them. She explained the dryers & how much money was needed for dry time. I will definitely go back there for my laundry needs. read more

Within the past 6 months this laundromat has declined in care. The machines are never cleaned. Old crusty soap from weeks past stuck in dispense. Machines overloaded with quarters are marked "out of order" rather than emptied . Older lady could not care less if anyone needs any help. My clothes always smell like cigarettes and I don't smoke. Sadly this used to be a clean laundromat. read more

The drop off bundle service is $1.30/pound of laundry. ($1.40 if you need hot water) It's $1.00 each if you need extra like bleach. It does NOT include blankets. Those are separate and depending on size $10-$50 Both the Wash and Fold as well as the Dry Cleaning is available 7 days a week. Effective as of 8.18.2019 read more

I have been going there for 4 months once per week on Friday. Rayanna is kind, friendly, helpful and is always keeping the place clean. On the other hand the brunette that works is rude and the place is always dirty. She also locks the side door at 6pm (last load is at 8pm) and gets mad at you if you unlock the door to go to your vehicle. The last Friday she worked the front door was locked at 8pm even thought there were 4 customers finishing our laundry. We were told if we went out we would not be let back in even though we still had more laundry to carry out to out cars. I personally let a lady back in after she was locked out of the building, by the brunette, so she could get the rest of her laundry. This kind of behavior by an employee is unacceptable and she needs talked to or fired. read more

Needed to use the dryers only and went later on a Saturday evening. The facility was clean and not crowded at that time. The employee was pleasant and provided me with change since I only needed a couple dollars for the machines. Dryer was working fine and did not take long for my clothes to dry. I would use them again in a pinch. Only downside is it is limited parking and not well lit at night. Also have to have cash for the machines. read more

Would it be too much to ask to have more than half the dryers working? Since my dryer has been broken I have to take my clothes here and every time I have to fight to find a working dryer that is not in use. read more

Came here two weeks ago to do some laundry before flying home and it was fine. The machines worked well and the staff was helpful.

Has everything you need and is fairly new. So everything is clean and works perfectly. It never seems to be too crowded to cause delays, but I don't come during what I assume are peak hours. read more

Hollywood Coin Laundry - Washing on regular loads is $2.00 - Laundromat Near Me - Norman, Oklahoma

I'm usually a person who only writes good reviews unless they're really bad. Well, this was pretty bad!. It caused a fortune because the dryers took so long and when I took my clothes out, the whites were dingy gray and there were large purple stains on my favorite shirts. I was told, "Sorry" read more

Hollywood Coin Laundry - What used to be a bright peach shirt a d bright white socks and shirt! - Laundromat Near Me - Norman, Oklahoma

I don't think I have been to a laundromat in 25 years, however I wish they were like this when I did go! This place is amazing! 3 different size washers and dryers..you can decide which is best for your loads! Others say it is expensive but it is not if you consider the size washer you are using - a 6x is 6.25 that is about a dollar a load! Place is super clean! Bathrooms spotless! Have beverages and snacks in vending machines! Owner was here making sure everything was working properly! Oh and they have AC so it is not hot or stuffy! The best part is your clothes don't have the burning dryer laundromat smell! Highly recommend this facility if you need to go to a laundromat! read more

This is the best laundry place ever. Even before the Covid-19 they always made sure everything was clean and sanitized after their customers. They have so many different sizes of washers and dryers for anyone needs. Their machine for drinks or snacks are always full with fresh selections to choice from. Their staff is friendly & always making sure that your needs are taken care of. I recommend this place to all my friends that need to ever go to a laundromat for anything. read more

This place use to be awesome. Now, make sure if ur clothes aren't don't by 8pm bc u won't be able to get your clothes. You will be rushed out b4 8pm. The lady locks the side door as early as 6pm. 90% of the dryers don't even work! Pretty sure she just wants to get out earlier than usual. Which I get, but do t put "Last loads in by 8pm" if you can't even finish the load b4 they lock you out. AND the my let homeless ppl that ask for money inside. This couple was in and the dude asked me if I had money, the worker was just letting them sit inside. Probably will stop coming here from now on. Sad. read more

I used this facility on a hot day, the owner said a.c. would be working next week. I dont really recall it ever working, I've only been here a few times. There's fans all over the place, not turned on, and while I had sweat pouring down my face I bought a soda from the pop machine, and it was warm. I'll go out of my way to avoid this place, its not clean, the bathroom looks like it was from a scary movie set. read more

It may be a bit unusual to review a laundromat, but this place has deserved it. I was promptly greeted the first time I came in(and all return visits I've made). I am impressed by how clean it is. The staff has always been super courteous. There are plenty of washers to go around, even on busy days. Plenty of dryers, too. The washers come in 3 sizes, and are moderately priced. There are tvs and even free Internet. I have never felt like I was bothering the staff when asking for change. I have noticed on numerous occasions the staff holding doors, helping people out to their cars and whatnot. There is a snack machine and beverage machine, too. Lots of seating. I will only ever come to this laundromat in Norman. read more

This place is always clean, and you never have to wait for a washing machine or dryer - there's tons of them. We have a washer and dryer at home, but our comforters and big blankets won't fit in them, so we always bring them to Hollywood. We're usually only there just under 2 hours until everything is done. If you need laundry done - come here. read more

Nice service and inexpensive. We always drop our clothes for wash and fold service and dry cleaning here. The place is nice and clean and very big! I don't know what else to say.. it is just a laundry place and it is fine! My usual laundry place. :) read more

I HATE laundromats, it's weird/scary how much I loathe them. But I love Hollywood Coin. It's always clean, the washers and dryers are in great condition, nothing has ever been out of order when I've gone in, and there are plenty of laundry baskets to go around. Even when it's crowded, there are plenty of machines available for use. I live alone, so I only have to wash clothes for myself. I only require one $2.00 machine, as I can fit a weeks worth of clothing in there, no problem. For $2 more, you can use the mid-size machine which fits A LOT of clothing. The customer service is fantastic too! The staff has always been helpful and friendly, and they never mind giving you change for bigger bills. I'm always greeted when I walk through the door. The best part? FREE WIFI. Nothing sucks worse than sitting in a brightly lit room for hours, waiting. But unlike other laundromats, I can just bring my laptop and watch The Walking Dead while my delicates dry on low. There are lots of tables and chairs to sit at, plus vending machines. Hating laundry day is a thing of the past. read more

I was at this Laundromat and was forever changed today. Brenda, a lady who works here, is known by everyone that comes into the laundry mat. She has a heart of gold. She says hello to everyone, she opened the door for me as I walked in and she stopped a woman today from hurting herself or someone else. I had been doing my laundry for thirty minutes when a woman came inside yelling that she was done with life. I heard it, we all sat there, but Brenda, another woman, and myself, ran outside to stop her from leaving. We were able to talk to her and calm her down. Brenda was a huge part of that because she was the first person to react. She is amazing and if I ever have to hire a staff position at my business, I want someone like Brenda. What a blessing. May we all stop and react to those who are hurting or be a kind voice to everyone we meet. read more

We walked in a couple minutes early, the laundry mat attendant cursed in front of my 8 year old and 12 year old, just because we walked in a couple minutes early. I've been going there for quite some time, every Sunday morning. I'm doing my laundry somewhere else, and plan on not ever going back there. If I talked to a customer like that, I would end up being fired. Not good business practice. read more

This a great laundromat! Very clean, organized, and tons of machines. The lady at the desk was very kind and gave me change for a 20 dollar bill. They have a quarter machine here. read more

Previous reviewers are right - clean, lots of working machines both washer and dryer. A tad more expensive than I'm use to but the cleanliness, the working machine and the environment was worth the bit more I spent washing clothes. The downside? Staff was to busy on personal phone call to take care of business. She even held the cell phone with her shoulder while she waited on a customer. Finally a dry cleaning customer came in and she was forced to tell the person on the cell she would call back later AND she did as soon as the customer left. Her phone etiquette was uncalled for, but I didn't need her for anything so I wouldn't let her stop me from not using this very clean laundry. read more

Cleanest laundry mat in town! A laundry attendant is available and is always so helpful! They also have bundle service to wash your clothes for you and dry cleaning services for good prices! I have always been happy going here. They have a quarter machine, atm, soap dispenser and vending machines available along with plenty of space to sit and three tvs! Very much recommended! read more

Great Laundromat. We live on the road with our business and always use laundromats. Very clean. We were the last ones in the laundry last night. The lady that works there was very nice. Even the small washers are quite large. We drove down from Oklahoma City because we never found any coin laundry on yelp that looked like a place we wanted to take our clothes. We generally don't wash at the RV parks because they often have dryers that are not hot so they can make more money. I believe we would rank this laundromat at the top along with one we've been to in Savannah, GA read more

I have been coming here for almost 4 years and in that time I have had the most pleasant experience and great customer service except until Justine became the weekly attendant. I walked in and she never greeted me, she was constantly on her phone and since I work in customer service I expect to be greeted and thanked. She is very very rude and anobbish to us customers. I would appreciate if she learned what true customer service is! Just because of her lack of people skills I refuse to come during the week. Please bring in someone that will at least greet and thank your customers. read more

By far the best laundromat I have ever been to. The sad part is that I just moved from alameda to okc and I'm thinking about still driving down to wash my clothes there. The place is very clean and hasn't been open for very long. It is packed on Saturdays but easy to wash during the week. I strongly suggest using this location. read more
