Cozy little cafe. Very friendly staff. Plenty of indoor seating but they were packed around 1PM, so we couldn't get a seat for 4 but thats OK, we weren't fussy. They currently have a 50% off special for an hour (I think 12-1pm); such a great treat! Our lattes and mochas were delicious! If you order to-go, there is a little pick-up window; it's cool coz you can see them preparing your coffee. We will definitely stop here every time we pass through Revelstoke. read more

The menu looks good here, but I went in for a simple dark roast drip coffee --- and it tasted like gas station coffee. It was so weak and terrible and it just reeked of "cheaping out". Dark roast should be robust, full of flavour and jam packed. This tasted like coffee flavoured tea. Super weak. To be fair, I've found that many independent coffee makers are cheaping out now on the amount of coffee beans they put in their brews. It's a bummer, but I have to actually go to Starbucks (or in Vancouver -- JJ Bean) to get a proper dark roast, flavourful coffee now. I'd rather promote these smaller places but at the end of the day, I just want good cup o' joe. read more

People need to get comfortable with not always knowing the answer and admitting that instead of making shit up. We stopped in Revelstoke on our drive to Canmore to stretch our legs and grab a beverage. Tall ceilings, inviting patio, seems like a nice selection of breakfasty items. We perused the drinks menu at the counter and asked what the difference was between the golden chai and regular chai, if it was just that it has turmeric added. She replied that it's just a different variety of tea and then stared me down not offering to elaborate. So I asked the obvious, how do they compare? She went to ask an associate and then returned and said that it's just turmeric that's the difference. Cool, glad we established that. After ordering the drink we had to go outside and pick it up at a window down the block. What a weird system. No acknowledgement when we thanked our barista. Not impressed by the service in this town (here and elsewhere). read more

This cafe is a cozy community hub for locals and seasonal visitors alike. You immediately feel welcome and comfortable plus they are slinging the best coffee in the city, roasted there, with a really well balanced menu of breakfast and lunch options sure to please any diet including picky eaters. To the coffee "snobs" reading this - this place has your back. I usually travel with my own coffee and was able to actually buy and drink coffee from a local business. Everyone is friendly, laid back and helpful. I look forward to visiting again! read more

Fairly decent! Amazing cheddar and olive scone! Other baked goods looked amazing so next time for the cookies! Did a breakfast sandwich, eggs and meat, and avo toast with goat cheese and honey (topped with salad). Chorizo was awesome. Coffees were decent but there are better out there (Americano average and vanilla latte average , hot chocolate average, iced strawberry matcha wouldn't recommend). Not sure why they serve lattes in a water glass vs a mug but it is what it is. Overall decent choice for breakfast. read more

New go to spot in Revelstoke! This Australian cafe & roastery has some of the best coffee we've tasted in a long time. Paired with a menu clearly labeled with gluten free & veg options, it's a reliable spot to eat well and safely. Their Macrodose breakfast sandwich with thin seasoned tofu & Goat toast were both very tasty options with crisp, fresh vegetables. I'd recommend either! And they do the gluten free toast well. The owner was also very knowledgeable and pointed out that the gluten friendly cookie is not celiac safe as it's made with oat flour. If you're looking to get something on the go, they also have a takeout window which makes quick stops very convenient. Though I couldn't upload photos, they have a very chill and fun atmosphere that would be great for studying or getting work done if needed. Overall, one of my favourite stops when driving through the Rockies. Enjoy! read more

Love this spot - I stop in every year when I come snowboarding. The quality of food and beverages is always fantastic and the staff is nice and helpful. The only thing that confuses me is that if you want your coffee to go, you order inside but then they hand it to you through a window outside. So, in the freezing winter temps, you stand outside waiting for your to-go. If it weren't for that inconvenience, I would give this spot 5 stars. Standing outside in below zero temps for a beverage is not fun. read more

I was driving from Banff to Vancouver and was caffeine deprived. This coffee shop is about 3 hours west of Banff on the way. I decided to grab a coffee with my friends. After parking our car, we saw that there were 10+ people waiting to order. This place had great vibes and was surprised to see so many people in such a small town. We ordered a hot small latte and a hot small Mocha and they were too good. Balanced Espresso with perfect temperature for the milk. l appreciate baristas making latte art as it is an important component of espresso based drinks. read more

Came here for a stopover lunch - it was one of the few places open. It was quite busy when we go there but the line to order went fast. There was a selection of patio and indoor seating. My wife ordered the tomato soup and a matcha latte. Both very good. My son had the grilled cheese which he enjoyed. My daughter and I shared the BLT - it was tasty and the mayo dip that came with it was heaven. It looks like they get a good business and everything was very efficient. Would recommend stopping here on your trip to/from Banff. There was quite a queue when we arrived which showed it was quite popular. The interiors are nice with a shelf for jewelry for purchase. Some quirky quotes on the wall. We got the Breakfast sandwich, avo toast, and grilled cheese. All 3 were good and perfect for breakfast/brunch. As for drinks the ginger wazz sounded interesting with tumeric, apple juice, and ginger. A good detox after a hectic trip. The chai comes in a cute pot and hence plenty of it! It's a must to go when you're in Revy. It's a lovely Café in Revy Downtown. During summer, they set up their patio and it's a nice place for brunch/lunch and they're pet friendly. During winter, the Café is very cozy. The staff is very polite and friendly. Their menu is pretty good, prices are also good and their dishes presentation is well done. Amazing food, drinks, and overall experience. Workers were very nice and service was overall welcoming and warm. The shop itself is adorable too. The coffee lemonade sounds like a combo that wouldn't work but it tasted sooo good and wakes you up right away :) I never order kale or quinoa salads but this was one of the best salads I've ever had, so give it a try if you're thinking about it. The restaurant is nice and has a cool vibe to it. When I arrived I noticed that it was not nearly as busy as the many other cafes around, but I was hungry and in a rush to get back to the road as I had a long trip ahead of me. The service was average. I asked for water and did not get it until I asked the 2nd time, and the girl at the cash register was impatient when I was figuring out what to order even though there was no one else in line. Now to the most important thing: food and coffee. The experience was also average. The coffee I ordered was not the greatest but it was okay. The toast however, was below average. The portion was small and it tastes quite plain. Perhaps you would have a better luck with a different item on the menu but for me I would probably go to a different spot next time I'm in Revelstoke read more

My friends Revelstoking is the best after you've started your journey here! My first trip * mi esposa had we had "Guest" espresso Americanos~ which felt nostalgic for some reason~ super fun though that they try roasteries from all over :) They were very well crafted because they brought great satisfaction to our palates~ also super friendly and up beat Baristas *Haley a Goldmine of joy and compassion~ my second trip **Maggie, vibrant and illuminating to any weather outside; served us a "Flight of coffee" the full Dose** which was astonishing and highly recommended :D read more

I dropped in here to grab take out for lunch. The place is really cute and homey, slightly hipster. It would be a great place to go with friends for a casual bite or to sit with a laptop and work. The menu is mostly bowls and sandwiches. I went with the breaky bowl which is quinoa, kale, beets, cabbage and a poached egg. The egg was perfectly cooked with a runny yolk. There was tons of flavour and the ingredients were fresh. Presentation was lovely with colours that popped. I appreciated that the take out container was compostable and even the cutlery was made of wood fibres. The portion was just right. Wow.. we wandered by and stopped for lunch. It was pretty busy but service was excellent and friendly. The sandwiches were superb! I wish I had more time to enjoy this place, but I had to get my oat milk latte (which was DELICIOUS, perfect strength) to-go because I had to get back on the road. Wow -- actually great coffee in Revelstoke. A bit of Melbourne or New York, a must stop for fellow latte addicts before skiing. Oh, and their pastries and brekkie looks great (but I didn't try). Only complaint is they don't open before 7:30am. read more

We decided to share, started with the best dish of broccolini and charred carrots, omg, I want the recipe. Our next course was the grilled salad, loaded with yummy lardon. We than split the ratatouille lasagne, absolutely delicious. The dinner was memorable due to the great servers and an amazing menu. We tried the British Columbian wine that was so good as well. I've already told friends that are coming to Revelstoke to make reservations. Such a fun, friendly restaurant.

Reportedly the ribs were pretty good. The stuffed chicken was also reportedly pretty good. The salmon was cooked nicely but I'm not a big fan of pureed pees. Should've remembered that before I ordered it. The pesto pasta was very creamy, to the point it made me think of alfredo. The star of the pesto was the mushrooms though. We were too full to try desserts.

The manager instructed the staff not to admit anyone there just to drink, and informed guests they might have to wait 45 minutes to an hour for a table. He was running the hostess stand as if it were a nightclub. His behavior was unprofessional, and if they can't pay out gambling winnings, they shouldn't offer the games. He seemed too lazy to get the money from the back. The staff agreed that he was unpleasant and not a competent manager.
