45 mins plus wait for weekday lunch - nothing to tide us over, no info. Food might be great - dunno yet...

Around 1 PM on July 9th the cafe was busy with several employees visible in the dining room. Only 1 of them was working. Meg did what she could while taking care of all the guests by herself. A couple of other girls were visible, one with dark, & another with light, brown hair. Their preoccupation with the idea that Meg needed to "do it all" because she was in the role earning gratuities, was obvious. Teamwork was nowhere to be found. While Meg was outside taking care of guests, the girl with dark brown hair was loudly & rudely overheard tagging one indoors guest with the nickname "Celebrity." This was the employee's response to a beverage refill request. It happened in the front of the house with diners onlooking, & astonished. read more

I skipped it for years because it's a weird old house, and I didn't dig that... I don't want to eat breakfast in grandmas bedroom... but I tried it again recently and the food and coffee were both excellent. Go here, it's not as weird as I remember and the food makes up for it. read more

My partner and I popped in for breakfast before heading to the mountain. This is such a charming spot. Most house/cafe conversions feel cramped and awkward as they try to leave many rooms and walls in place but this spot is really well designed inside, retaining the charm of the home while feeling spacious and open. The food was delicious, too! My BF has the Huevos Rancheros with chorizo and absolutely loved it. His "tell" for a good huevos is whether or not the tortilla is soggy or crisp and this one was perfectly crisp with loads of flavor piled on between the beans and chorizo and sauce, etc. I had the bennie special: sautéed mushrooms, spinach and Brie ....so so yummy! I had the Hollandaise on the side because you never know and it was absolutely perfect! Dipping my fork in the sauce before scooping up a bite was fantastic! They have a standard coffee shop menu with the addition of a flat white, and alternative mills include soy & almond. Loved the service, the ambiance and the food! Right in the downtown area it's walkable with free street parking everywhere. I highly recommend this spot! read more

Stopped for lunch but loved seeing they served breakfast all day. Had the apple brie French toast and it was fabulous. Thick cut bread with just right chewy texture. Carmel apples and brie were great. Friendly staff, cute atmosphere in a converted old house. read more

It's a nice, cozy place with good service. I had the skillet with bennies and it was great.

Had the Texas Benny and the Golden Latte (Tumeric, coconut oil, espresso.. etc.). The Benny was awesome and totally a unique flavour. It was busy but worth it. The prices were definitely reasonable or maybe even cheaper than places like this in big cities. I was surprised because I find in smaller cities places can sometimes be insanely pricey. Super cozy inside. Friendly waitresses who were very attentive. read more

Sitting outside on patio enjoying a cup of really good soup and an Americano, perfect. Great ambience

The coffee was good here and the building is lovely. The staff had an inconsiderate few moments while we were there. I got up to go to the bathroom and when I came back they had seated a table of 6 people so close to us I couldn't return to my seat. I had to get my coffee to go. Not great. Won't be going back. Too bad. read more

Spent six days in Revelstoke and went here twice for breakfast. Amazing choices and the quality of the food is outstanding. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. Had the oatmeal one day. Some of the best oatmeal that I have ever tasted. Even though I'm not vegan I ordered the Vegan brunch. It was excellent. A go to place for breakfast while in Revelstoke. read more

Was there about a week or so ago on our way back to s. Enjoyed lunch at a table under an umbrella next to the sidewalk. I had a chicken club with tomato basil soup. My wife had a bahn mi with soup. Both were very good. Service was efficient and prompt. Prices moderate. Facility clean. read more

We were driving through Revelstoke and needed some breakfast. The food hit the spot! It was delicious and the service was great! At the time I went, 12:00pm, the cafe was very quiet, friendly, and clean. I got the Old Timer omelette and side of bacon was tasty! Highly recommend. read more

Food was great. Would recommend the crêpes. Clearly this place is very busy because it took almost an hour to get our food once we had sat down. read more

Very good breakfast. Reasonable prices. Would go again. Nice atmosphere, wait staff were attentive.

I abso0lutely love this restaurant. It is a old house turned restaurant and it is so great. It is beautiful and quaint on the inside with a very simple menu- just the way I like it. Some people like more options and I don't because it is easier to decide this way. I also like a more simple menu- especially at restaurants like this- because the food is so freshly made. I got hash browns with my meal and you could tell it was fresh. They weren't from a bag they were homemade. I had the west coast eggs Benedict with salmon, avocado and red onion on a cheese and chive biscuit with homemade hollandaise and it was amazing! read more

If you come to Revelstoke for a vacation and you don't stop here for at least one breakfast, you did it wrong. My family and I went here for three days in a row and it got better and better each time we came in. I have nothing but good things to say about the exceptional food, coffee, service, and even the atmosphere within the cafe. 10/10 Recommend. read more

Outstanding. Had the benny special. Eggs were perfect -- runny yolk but firm whites. Hollandaise was soft and creamy. Muffin was toasted but not hard to cut. Potatoes were flavorful, but not too salty. Bright, comfortable room, though a bit drafty from the door. Soft trance electronica that's present but doesn't make the room loud. Stunningly beautiful artwork on the walls (Kristi Lind, the tags say). Attentive, friendly service. Decent prices. A near perfect brunch. read more

Great brunch spot. The food selection was lovely and the home fries were a hit all round. The bennies selection was impressive and the service was good. Nice location & on a sunny day I would recommend sitting outside. I would suggest trying the hash skillet or the Texas benny for something different read more

Cutest brunch in Revelstoke. Lots of options from traditional to over-the-top skillets. Vegan and other special dietary options. Nice espresso machine in the back - you can just come in for a take-out coffee as well. The dining room is the south facing parlour of an old character house, which is bright and cheerful and filled with gorgeous local paintings (for sale). Patio is open in the summer. This place is busy - come early on summer weekends or else be prepared to wait. read more

The food is delicious! It taste very much like international/global fine dining more than a local cafe. We ordered tacos and it was quite spicy. We drove from Banff to Vancouver and this restaurant was one of the best meals we had on the trip! read more

Great Place - great breakfast. We visited the Main Street Café while we are travelling in B.C. and we had a great time here and an awesome breakfast. Whenever you have time you should definitely stop by here and stay for a coffee and a cookie. We will come back tomorrow for breakfast. read more

I'm temped to give this place 5 stars and but I didn't get what I ordered. The girl who served us did offer to make a new coffee, but I decided to stick with what I got. But still the staff here is great and friendly. I left my camera here and they kept it on the side for me. As for the cafe itself it's a little house on the corner, that is converted into a cafe, so naturally has that homey feel to it. I loved the great ambiance, and the huge coffee menu. Lot of seating and patio. I would highly recommend this place if you are on the road and decide to stop for a brunch or coffee. read more

This place gets 4 stars mostly for the location and atmosphere. The food is pretty good, but nothing really to write home about. I my favorite part of this place is the patio, but be prepared to sit inside if you arrive too late in the morning :) The coffee is very good, and I remember the one time I managed to be there when they were offering their eggs benny, they were quite good. I would recommend that, or one of their open-faced breakfast sandwiches. I have less experience with the lunch menu, but from what I remember things there looked equally appealing. read more

Warning: 5 stars is based on 1 dish and 1 cappuccino Got the beefy hash and it was perfect! The poached eggs were cooked to perfection and the hash itself was tender and delicious. Large enough to split ( although my inner piggy wished I had it all to myself!). The menu looked great- I know I am the right place when I can't decide between 3 items!!!! read more

We were going to stop elsewhere but there was limited seating at the other restaurant and this place looked so inviting with the tables on the patio. I ordered the banh mi with soup, my husband got the fish tacos with Caesar salad ($2.25 extra) and my kids shared a quesadilla. I loved my food, the kids loved theirs as well, but the fish tacos had a strange aftertaste and the Caesar salad was wilted. My husband complained about his salad after the fact, and the waitress just said she would tell the chef. Otherwise, a good place to eat for lunch in Revelstoke. read more
