It was clear when the job was unsatisfactory completed, he had no intention of doing the job I wanted, that he would hang the tv and use a white enclosure to hide the wires instead of placing an electrical outlet and running the wires the proper way. I HIGHLY recommend before you even think about utilizing this company, you get quotes from at least 20 different companies, and make him your very last option. After months of frustration trying to update my home theatre system with new components purchased from Best Buy and installed by their "Geek Squad" I finally found Precise Audio. Chris, the owner, scheduled his team to come out and rescue this 82 year old former whiz Heathkit builder how to properly wire it. Two unbelievably knowledgeable techs showed up, asked a few questions, and had my total system working just perfectly in 1.5 hours. They also left written detailed notes on using the system because they just knew I was lying when I said I would remember all that they said when the door closed behind them. We moved to the area only a few weeks ago and have had many vendors in. What set Precise Audio and Chris and his team apart is the respect they showed to us and to our home. As we interacted with them on more than one visit it became easy to see this respect was a reflection of their personal values. Add to that their technical expertise and ability to translate what you would like done into the appropriate solution and there is no other company on their level in this business. Our home was wired for sound in multiple rooms but only the wires were left behind resulting in there being no way to use the speakers in the ceilings. We also needed multiple TVs mounted, powered and connected to the speakers as well. We couldn't be happier with the solutions they provided us and how well they work. I provided custom plasma install with a lower quote from another company and custom plasma install's response was first "we can fix his work." Based on my experience, they don't come across as straight shooters or particularly trustworthy. Their rates are also 2 to 2.5 times higher than the next 10 top results on Yelp. Yelp should probably move them lower in their results given how few reviews they received in recent years. When I asked about the price difference, I was told the Frame TV is difficult to install and that they include a "lifetime warranty." The quotes I received from the other installers were all specifically for the frame TV. Reading other reviews on Yelp, it didn't seem like the lifetime warranty carried very much weight with them (Paul and Cary). In the end, the experience felt more like a bait-and-switch than a professional engagement. Maybe the quality of the work would have been fine -- but with so many reputable, fairly priced alternatives in the area, I'd strongly recommend going with someone else. Don't waste your time coordinating with Paul or Cary. I ultimately lost my deposit and could not even report them to the Better Business Bureau because they don't seem to exist outside of Yelp and Nextdoor.
