We have used J&J Security for various things over the past 5-6 years, but this past year we built a new home and had a security system, Control 4, and intercom put in. We had several rather unique requests, and 2 members of our household are truly technology impaired. This includes one senior that still believes "computers are a fad". I can't say enough good things about J&J, from the owner George, to all the guys that practically lived at our house taking care of everything from installation to patiently teaching my 88 year old mother-law the secrets of technology. Every employee was friendly, professional, and infinitely patient. We have worked with Gregg from the beginning 5-6 years ago. He is, at this point, kind of like family. Has always made us feel like we are his only customer, and at times, I've wondered how he could possibly have any others, he has given us such personal attention. Recently we had someone out to program something for our hot tub, and when he saw how our system was set up, he commented that he had never seen a system like ours, ( with literally hundreds of wires and cables), set up so well and so neatly. I am writing this for my Mother who lived across the street from me & who has had J&J Security for 10+ years, she was 85 when she past away this year but has enjoyed the security of having an alarm system on her house as she lived alone. She started out with other companies that proclaimed to have the best service at a descent price but we found out after a year that wasn't the case. The service was fine but the price kept going up & up. So we switched her service to J&J and the price went down & the service was better. They came in and revamped her system where all doors & windows had an alarm sensor & there was a motion sensor & a fire alarm/smoke detector installed in the main/living area of the house. The fire alarm/smoke detector is connected to the system & monitored also. They even have a way of monitoring the system without a landline phone. All in all we have been very satisfied with the service & monitoring that J&J security has offered my mother especially for her peace of mind & will continue to use them in the future. read more

I have been with J&J for 3 years and have just renewed for a further 3 years! There service is 2nd to none!. My home was the subject last month to an attempted break in where persons smashed the master bedroom window, as soon as it smashed the alarm went off scaring the burglars and forcing them to run away. My monitoring of the alarm by J&J was excellent and the police were called within seconds of the alarm going off and within 6 Min's max Sanford police were at my property!!!!! J&J installed our security system when we built our home and they have always provided great service. However, last week when my home was broken into they were exceptional in every way. I called on Friday and Scott was here at 8am Saturday morning! He upgraded my system - tested all 30 points of entry and helped me set up the app on my phone. He explained everything thoroughly, even demonstrated how to arm/disarm and view security cameras through the app. He was the best service technician I have EVER dealt with in ANY service industry. We had a lightening strike at our house in winter garden on Sunday 8/14 causing a power surge that fried our security system and many of the wired sensors. When the power surged, it caused the siren to go off, and would not stop. We called J&J for help and was able to speak to a real person at the office who found a technician to instruct us to get it shut off. Then Greg D made time in his schedule and worked at the house for 21/2 hours in Tuesday evening to fix the system and recommission the system. Very happy with our service from J&J Security. I feel they are being proactive about checking our system and our technician, Gregg Delker, is good at his job. He set us up originally and just came out to do an update. He called me to let me know when he would arrive and it was within the window given to me by the office. He is trustworthy to have in my home and left the work area neat and clean. He was very patient, reminding me how to use the mobile system and he made certain I had all the phone numbers and contact info I needed for the company. Very helpful! Eddie came out to help me today. Free visit since I'm on the maintenance plan. They monitor my system with a cell phone connection for a great price. This also means I'm on their maintenance plan...which is also great. They come out for free when ever you need them. Be aware that they charge for parts. So, battery replacement is the cost of the battery around $30. But, if you want to do it yourself, you can get a similar battery on Amazon for about half -- but you have to do it yourself. We are a retreat center and our equipment is for the most part old and repairs/replacements are not always in our budget.
