After months of frustration trying to update my home theatre system with new components purchased from Best Buy and installed by their "Geek Squad" I finally found Precise Audio. Chris, the owner, scheduled his team to come out and rescue this 82 year old former whiz Heathkit builder how to properly wire it. Two unbelievably knowledgeable techs showed up, asked a few questions, and had my total system working just perfectly in 1.5 hours. They also left written detailed notes on using the system because they just knew I was lying when I said I would remember all that they said when the door closed behind them. We moved to the area only a few weeks ago and have had many vendors in. What set Precise Audio and Chris and his team apart is the respect they showed to us and to our home. As we interacted with them on more than one visit it became easy to see this respect was a reflection of their personal values. Add to that their technical expertise and ability to translate what you would like done into the appropriate solution and there is no other company on their level in this business. Our home was wired for sound in multiple rooms but only the wires were left behind resulting in there being no way to use the speakers in the ceilings. We also needed multiple TVs mounted, powered and connected to the speakers as well. We couldn't be happier with the solutions they provided us and how well they work. Many of Jeff's competitors recommend completely new systems from top to bottom which can easily run many thousands of dollars. These competitors peddle a certain snob appeal convincing their customers that the more money they spend the better the sound. But this brings the law of diminishing returns. Oftentimes the more you spend, the less your margin of improvement until the point that with every thousand dollars you spend, the margin of improvement becomes less than 1 percent to your sound quality. Jeff understands this. I had an old system that was a mishmash of components I had acquired over the years--some good, and some outdated. Jeff assessed my system and made recommendations about which new components I should replace, purchase to upgrade, and which components I had on hand that would not compromise the high fidelity sound that I sought. For a very reasonable price I acquired the perfect system for me. It sounds powerful, presenting every sound on the recording with equal measure across the audio spectrum. I can't recommend Jeff Temkin of Spie Worx enough. He will not disappoint you.

Only after calling the office to find out where the electrician was, did the receptionist say that they would arriving between 2-2:30. They arrived shortly after 2 PM, and claimed they were never told what the time window was for the appointment! What??? The best part was they said they were there to just provide a quote and did not have what we needed to move an existing 2 plug outlet up 3 feet on the wall and make it a 4 plug outlet! This is after we had specified this request on the initial call with the 2 women who answer the phone and schedule appointment! What sort of business are you running??? So disappointing! Believe it or not our time is just as valuable as your time! We waste our entire morning and part of our afternoon waiting around for nothing!!!
