I ordered a very bland and mediocre combination of 1 Samosa Pav, 3 Paani Puri, and 3 drinks at Spicy Bite. The food here is not as good as many other Indian restaurants I have been to, and along with that comes their rude customer service. I was handed my food and I asked them if I could get three straws with the drinks. One of the chefs rudely responded with a, "You don't need a straw to drink this". Shocked, I grabbed my items and headed to the parking lot, and before the door closed I heard the chef mock my question to her peers. I guess one of the very few good things about this restaurant is the location, since it's next to a large, empty parking lot, but maybe that's because nobody likes to go here. read more

Finally checked this place out. They were able to accommodate our vegan and no garlic needs, which we really appreciated. They know what is in each plate they prepare and it was very fresh. Not really light eating but also not greasy. Noodles were hecka yum. I highly recommend and we will be going back. read more

Everything we bought was delicious. The bonus was how affordable it was! The chicken biryani (pretty huge plate for about $6!)coupled with the indo-chinese paneer were awesome. We are not used to eating Indian food, nor am I claiming that this was authentic because I would not know. Considering I ordered through an app, I'll let the temperature of the food go. As for the quality... not impressed. I ordered the veg biryani, pani puri, and garlic kulcha. The veg biryani is the only reason I gave this order 2 stars instead of one and even that was sub par. As for the pani puri.... oh boy... really really, really sad. Not like the picture or description what so ever. There was no chutney or onion. Just two little barely cooked cubes of potato, no seasoning or anything worth the $6. Says $4.99, probably the app price is $6. Either way I wouldn't pay $1.50 for that again. I can't tell if it's laziness, a lack of prep, or both. I've worked in kitchens and I wouldn't even box that up at the places I've worked. That would be embarrassing. If I wasn't so mad about the money spent I would be embarrassed for this restaurant coming from that background. All I have to say about the garlic kulcha; overly soggy and bitter garlic. I wanted to try this place for a very long time since I live around this place. I usually go to viks when I want some Indian food, but this place impressed me a lot. So far this is one of the best Indian restaurants I have tried. Very affordable, and has variety of Indian street food options. We ordered Goat biryani, aloo garlic sandwich, Lahore fish fry and Mysore masala dosa which was all perfect. I am very much looking forward to try their munchurian, chicken kati role and their all kinds of dosa. On my second visit i ordered at restaurant for take out, when i got home i was able to tell my chicken was frozen, very dissapointed since i love indian food . My Samosas also tasted frozen. Indian food is not cheap to begin with. read more

Goat biryani was pretty tasty. Uttapam was on the bland side. I thought the keema samosa was supposed to be filled with lamb but it turned out to be chicken. Went and tried this place with my Son. Was excited as it was something new to the area. Ordered about 10 items and the Mango and Strawberry Lassi. As we waited we tried the Lassi's and they were just terrible. Not thick or cold or made with fresh fruit. Saw it being poured from a milk jug. Nothing like it was pictured on the menu. Got home and the aroma of the food was delightful, but overall very disappointing. The Chicken noodles we ordered were mushy noodles which completely changed the taste of the dish and again looked nothing like how it was pictured on the menu. The Shami Kabab with garbanzo beans was good, but the sauces definitely helped to improve the taste. The Samosa vegetarian were good, but lacked taste without the sauces. The Goat with rice wasn't bad, but no WOW factor! The Chicken wrap was the tastiest, but you definitely needed to used the sauces to enhance the delight of eating it. My Son who enjoy foods of all cultures ate and tasted everything and was extremely disappointed as he is very familiar as I am in the delights of street food. I loved this place until now. Me and my mom were regular customers here. We went there at least twice a week. A few months after the opening, they started reducing the portion size of a lot of menu items. It went almost half for the same price as earlier. When I tried to explain that to the lady who owns the place, she was very rude about it. She said, "This is how it works now. We have even raised the price on each item. This is what you will get. Next time I can put your food in a smaller plate so it looks fuller to you." It was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of explaining why such a change had taken place with the portion size, the lady wanted to talk back hella rude.Won't be going back again. Other Indian places nearby are way better. They have also become pretty unhygienic. Like not wearing gloves while preparing food. Not washing hands after handing cash. Started of pretty good but now not a place I would go back to. read more
