THEY ARE OPEN FOR LUNCH SERVICE!!! I was so excited to hear this because my coworker tried to take me here for lunch one day and they shut down the lunch hours due to the pandemic. The owners are so wonderfully humble and kind!! Personal service and very attentive! The appetizers were amazing!! Perfect Garlic naan!! Vindaloo and Korma were phenomenally fresh!! The dining capacity is HUGE, very clean, but needs lunch goers to fill them seats!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TANDOOR FOR LUNCH!!!

Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Chicken Biryani

Chicken Tikka Masala: super good and yummy! No complaints. I got mild spice and it wasn't spicy at all. It was actually more on the sweet side but still tasted really good. Make sure to order with rice or garlic naan. I got the garlic naan and it fit perfectly with the tikka masala. My friend got the chicken biryani middle spice and it also wasn't that spicy. We do have higher spice tolerances though. We came at lunch time when they were closing in an hour to get ready for dinner. The server was so polite and helpful! He recommended us food, constantly checked on us, and checked that the spice level of the food too. He was very attentive to any water/napkin needs! The ambiance is a great place to go for both dinner and lunch. I definitely recommend going for dinner and it's a nice dinner date spot too! The decorations also match the vibe for a cute dinner date night.

Food: 4/5 Delicious as always. Chicken momo is cooked well, chicken tandoor comes out sizzling hot, and the garlic naan was flavorful. Service: 5/5 The host is very attentive and helpful. Ambiance: 4/5 I have previously only picked up food to go from here but it was a pleasant dine-in experience. I loved the artwork in the women's bathroom. The restaurant was otherwise quite empty early evening time.

Came late on a Wednesday to have dinner and we were graciously welcomed in and serviced. Inside was spacious and clean, with Indian music playing. Menu had some vegan options - since it was my partner's birthday, we were going to have an all vegan meal. We had an Indian friend with us and he noted to the server to make the dishes "desi", which was the authentic way to indicate that we wanted the "Indian spicy." The most flavorful (and super spicy!) Dahl lentil dishes and Chana masala arrived in beautiful traditional serving bowls. The rice and garlic naan arrived shortly after- I'm a sucker for garlic naan and it didn't disappoint! Everything tasted delicious and even our Indian friend said the place was legit. My vegan partner also loved it and we even had enough leftovers for a snack the next day. Would definitely return to try the rest of the menu and glad that Pinole has some quality Indian spots!

Ordered some food over a phone for pick up. whole wheat tandoori rotis with chicken curry for 1 person. Nice and easy, food was ready when reached there and what a tasty chicken curry they have. Recumbent it. I'll definitely dine-in. Thank you.

It was pleasant. Food was good. Service was great. Only ones that were there when we went. I'd go back.

Dal Makhani

so inconsistent with the food. There have been times when i call the restaurant to appreciate how good the food is and then this last night. The Dal makhani looked horrific. I asked that the butter chicken be made for a kid not my entire order. Very disappointed.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for quite a while now. We came in on Wednesday evening about 45 minutes before closing. We were seated right away and the server was very nice. We were the only ones in the restaurant and this time. We had Samosas-we ate them too quickly to get pictures :( they were very good. We ordered nan bread so fresh and delicious. Butter chicken which I had never had before but t was delicious I will definitely be having more. Tandoori chicken was very good too. Rice was also good. I will definitely be back

Hidden gem in El Sobrante that serves up some of the best Laotian and Thai food in the Bay Area…read more Every time we visit, must-orders are the Nam Khao (crispy rice ball salad with fermented pork sausage and fresh herbs) and Ka Soy (Laotian noodle soup). If you see Nam Khao on the menu of a Laotian/Thai restaurant, that means they know what they are doing just because it's so labor-intensive to make a salad(!) and the fermented pork has to be damn-near perfect for this salad to really shine and round out the fresh herbs and seasonings which includes lime juice, vinegar, and fish sauce. Ka Soy (the noodle soup) is a comfort food enjoyed in Southeast Asia. It's not the Thai-style where it's a curry broth and the noodles are fried, so let's not get it mixed up. Instead, it's bone broth that been simmered for hours and it's somewhat a lighter broth. The noodles are wide rice noodles in a big bowl of hot broth served with a mixture of ground pork cooked down with tomatoes along with fresh bean sprouts, scallions, and cilantro - simply a divine noodle soup that a must-try. It's not overly complex in terms of flavor, but it's a bowl of good ol' noodle soup that is comforting and great-tasting. If you haven't tried Laotian food, give Sue's Kitchen a try. try some new flavors and you may just become a regular (if you aren't already). The owners are friendly too! It's a husband-and-wife team!

The place is pretty clean nice and all but I'm just not used to waiting 6-7 mins for a server to come to my table after seating myself, especially at a pho spot where they keep the broth hot and noodles ready to toss in and read to serve in a matter of minutes even seconds depending how good the place is with service. Food is good, I would you try their food here. However, I would never recommend physically going here. Unbelievably slow service tho they weren't disrespectful or unpleasant they were all too slow for how packed it was getting. I guess there's only two spots for pho in Pinole maybe that's the reason behind this place being acceptable, I would never go here again having to wait so long for every part of dining in a restaurant. Had to ask for one of my dishes and as they brought it out we were already finishing our meals. Also, forgot i ordered the calamari and it came AFTER the sandwich I reminded them to bring out lol. Comedy Food= Good! Would never recommend someone go here for the wait time and service

As I was waiting for my meal this time, I literally opened my mouth to ask the person I was with if they remembered the owner yelling when we were there last and before I could even speak, he started doing exactly that. He does not seem to care at all that guests can see and hear everything he's saying. So I can't really imagine how he treats them when there aren't any customers. Would never have guessed it was a Korean restaurant. We were seated right away and our server was pretty attentive. We got the usual bon chon of appetizers and were able to place our orders quickly. Kimchi Jeon: I always love the Korean pan cake. My choices are usually the Green Onion or the Kimchi variant. Here, they had the Kim chi version. It was crispy and fried to perfection and was not salty. The dipping sauce helped complement the pancake and there was plenty enough to go for a second round. Soy garlic and spicy fried chicken: This was absolutely delicious. The spicy was not too spicy, with just the right amount for the kick and not making me want to drink milk. It was also crispy and crunchy, which is what I expect from Korean fried chicken. The soy garlic was phenomenal. The sauce was not overtly sweet and it tasted what I expect from the flavor profile. These pieces were also fried to perfection as well. Kimchi Soondooboo: I always love the soft tofu soup and I am glad they had this here as well. The version here is vegetarian (though you do get an egg). The tofu was soft and there was plenty of it in the soup. My only complaint personally was that the broth was a bit bland for me. Could be that I am used to have a meat version of kimchi Soondooboo. It still tasted delicious on a cold night, but I felt it was still missing some seasoning or flavoring. Overall, had a great experience here and looking forward to coming back.

I love trying little hole in the wall type restaurants so that I can try something new and different. Nepali cuisine tickles tastebuds and when I saw Wild Boar on the menu, it was over!! I ordered and was really looking forward to trying something new. So... The food gets served and man, talk about depressing. First the portion was tiny for something costing upwards of $17. I'd be generous if there was 12oz. of food on that plate. It was basically "boar", with onions and a flair of cilantro(?). Trying to keep an open mind I pop the first piece of meat in my mouth and good grief!! Tough as nails, impossible to chew, basically hard dry jerky, Also zero sides, no salad or vegetables, just boot leather (color and texture) meat. Did I mention it was cold? Not heat lamp luke warm, just sat on the counter for 10mins cold. So... I swapped it for a hamburger. This was a standard Costco sirloin patty, std. bun, lettuce, tomato, onion. Pepper jack cheese was the upgrade, thankfully, this was served hot. Now I hate to bring up hygiene but at one point the cook walked past us and his BO followed close BEHIND and left an impression... C'mon man, it's a damn restaurant!!! C'MON MAN!!! Now... I just don't get it... In this era of cooking shows, competitions, books, podcasts and celebrities. This world where Gordon Ramsey is EVERYWHERE, how, how, HOW can you not put in some effort!! How can the Owner / Manager allow this?? It was a Friday night, the bar had about nine people at it while the restaurant had the two of us and one other diner. On a Friday night!!!! How do you even stay in business?? Listen, I hope ownership takes note and immediately does something to up their food game. I want them to succeed but if this is the best they can do... Just shut it down. Sad diner, signing off.
