This is the spicy barbecue beef the signature Spicy BBQ Beef Dinner Special and Pad See Ew delicious

Amazing all the food is delicious. I really like the spicy barbecue beef. It is the best. This is the best place for Thai food especially northern Thai food. I appreciate the customer service if you go there, please ask for the Natty special. It's the best spicy barbecue Thai restaurant. Santa Monica and Normandy make sure you go there. Thank you.

My goodness talk about a mom and pop shop. Be prepared to wait because there is 3 tables if you're lucky. The service was so friendly and quick. It must be popular because it filled up soon after. We ordered some fried rice and soup everything was great!

Cracc in the 80s good! The elder lady at the counter is super sweet. I originally came here for the Wi-Fi and ended up supporting them by grabbing a Thai tea (10/10). That was about a week ago. Today, I decided to stop by and grab something to eat. Even though they were closing up, she was generous enough to take my order. I wanted to keep it simple because I know how it is closing a kitchen and having a customer come in last minute. I asked her about the barbecue plate and decided to order that. She recommended the pork option, and I'd never had Thai pork before--but man, let me tell you, that plus the rice is hands-down some of the best Thai food I've ever had. It was so good that I'm tempted to check out all my usual go-to dishes at Thai restaurants just to compare. I took a bite while sitting in the car before pulling off, and it was very hard to resist eating the whole plate right then and there. Even now, as I'm driving and writing this review, I can smell the freshly cooked food calling me to pull over and finish the plate--lol.!

This place is still my favorite Thai place since living in LA the last few years. Ownership is so nice. Nadi (sorry if I spelled that wrong) provide excellent service and the food there continues to be amazing. Ordered like 6 dishes with two other friends and it definitely had us full. I continue to come back here for the good food and great service!

I am saddened to report this, but they have changed owners, or cooks, or management. If you love this place as much as I did, you can tell immediately things are different when you walk in. I asked them if they changed owners immediately and they denied it. However the same lady who was behind the counter for over 10 years is gone, the staff was different, they now accept cards, the infamous cash only sign and ATM are gone, and most importantly the food is different. The Tom Kha soup is very watery, the food is not very flavorful, the bbq pork is dry (though the sauce is still good), and the pad kra pow (spelling?) was too saucy. Overall, I'm so sad of the changes. If they didn't change owners they definitely changed something and hopefully they'll figure it out but it's definitely not as good as before.

One of my FAVORITE Thai restaurants in LA that's serving up dank Northern Thai cuisine. Great portions, fair prices and a great range of flavors...never had a bad dish yet. Also, if you're ever in a chatting mood the story of how this place came to be is heartwarming so be sure to ask for an added humanity bonus. Had the Mixed Salad and WOW I was surprised by the array of sweet, salt and spice and it was gone in seconds; twas so nice I'll order it twice. Get over there and enjoy!

Asian comfort food: grilled meat, rice, and veg. Spicy BBQ checked off all of these boxes and more! The portions are HUGE and it is so tasty. A big plus is that the lady working at the front is so kind :) Here's what I got: 1. Spicy BBQ Pork Dinner Special: A huge pile of shrimp fried rice, topped with grilled pork that reminds me of Vietnamese thit heo nuong. It's not as spicy as I expected, but I just eat it with prik nam blah (thai chilis in fish sauce). The sauce that comes with the meal is so good, but beware, they charge $1 if you'd like any extra! The portions for this were huge, it lasted me 3 different meals. 2. Pad See Ew: I had low expectations for this when it came out, mainly because I like a good char on the noodles and chinese broccoli. However, I would definitely get this again!! There is so much flavor in the noodles and it's the perfect amount of sweetness and soy. It's going to be hard to branch out and get something else next time, but I will definitely need to try some of their Northern Thai specialties!

Bludso's brisket is tender and marinated just right. While some briskets are too salty, Bludso's maintains a light and balanced flavor profile, which lets me enjoy the flavor of the beef. However, be warned that some leaner cuts might be a tad bit dry. The pork ribs were also great. although they weren't "fall off the bone" soft, it's still one of the best ones I've had in LA. The sides were also good. They weren't mind blowing but they were definitely comforting. Overall, Bludso's is a great BBQ spot that I would come to again and again. Definitely one of the best in LA. Note: I do have to say that if you're from Texas, you might not be "wow'd". Franklin BBQ in Austin is leagues above both Bludso's and Moo's (first time in my life having brisket melt in my mouth!!). But if you've never left LA, Bludso's will probably be the some of the best BBQ you've had in your life!

While portions…read morehave gradually gotten smaller as prices continue to rise, I want to focus mainly on the food quality itself. And overall, Bludso's is still a solid BBQ joint that I'll continue coming back to. Brisket - 4.5/5, Lean Brisket - 3.5/5. The standout here is definitely the beef brisket. They offer two versions: regular brisket and lean brisket. The regular brisket is well-smoked, with tender, moist meat that pulls apart nicely. The dry rub has a great balance of seasoning and flavor without overpowering the beef. My only complaint is that the brisket can be a little fattier than I'd prefer. On the other hand, the lean brisket swings too far in the opposite direction; it has too much lean meat. It loses too much moisture and ends up noticeably dry. Honestly, I wish they offered something right in between the two cuts because the flavor itself is excellent. Even so, the brisket remains the reason I keep returning. Pork Ribs - 3.5/5. The pork ribs are good, though not particularly memorable compared to some of the better BBQ spots around. The flavor is there, but the ribs were slightly dry and lacked the tenderness I was hoping for. The taste and texture just didn't fully come together for me. BBQ Chicken - 2.5/5. The BBQ chicken was probably the weakest meat option I tried. The chicken was properly smoked, but the smokiness completely dominated everything else. I couldn't really pick up much seasoning or flavor beyond the smoke, which made it feel one-dimensional and less interesting overall. As for the sides, the cornbread and baked beans were both above average. The cornbread had a good texture and flavor, while the baked beans had a nice depth and complexity that complemented the BBQ well. The mac and cheese, however, was a letdown for me since it tasted a bit dry. Overall, Bludso's BBQ is still a dependable place for BBQ in LA, especially if you're craving brisket. It may not be perfect across the board. Still, the quality of the smoked meats - particularly the brisket - keeps it firmly in my regular rotation.

Then guy who told the girl to seat us was just standing around d chit chatting with another employees for about 15 minutes before he even came to our table. He never even introduce himself. He just took our order. Another 20 mins came by before our food was served. OUR FOOD WAS ROOM TEMPERATURE. Short Rib was ok. The macaroni was stale and OLD! It was dry and not fresh! We asked for extra BBQ sauce and that didn't arrive for another 15 mins. We had to wave down another employee to try to get the sauce to us. I wouldn't recommend this place! Horrible service. Didn't even come around to see if we needed anything or if everything was good or not. We came here around 1:30pm on 3/16. The restroom was also out of paper towels and soap from the soda dispenser. Poor quality food! Glad I tried it, so I know to not come back again!

If you come across any negative review about anyone here at the bar, I can confidently say it does not reflect the people I--and many others--have experienced. In all my visits, I've never once seen her or the staff handle anything with anything less than professionalism and kindness. I saw a few YouTubers eating food from moo's Craft so knew I had to have it on my list of places to try when visiting socal. My group and I decided to stop here for our lunch before going to universal studios since it was along the way. Parking is pretty confusing for us. They state there's a lot behind the building to park at, but it looks liked you have to pay and we weren't sure which lot. So we just did street parking. We did go around 1:30 pm on a Thursday, so did not have much of an issue with finding street parking. Inside the restaurant, they have plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. There's no wait staff, so you go to the counter and order and once it's ready, they call your name/number and you pick up your tray of food from the counter. We ordered the El trio platter, which comes with 1 lbs of brisket, 1 lbs of pork ribs, 2 sausages (chili relleno and cheddar jalapeno) and 2 sides (which we chose Mac and cheese and red potato salad). We also saw the burgers from YouTube so got 2 of the Thicc burgers to share among everyone. We got a sides of the Texas chili to try. Everything was great. Our group really enjoyed the food and everyone said the BBQ was some of the best they've had. The brisket was really tender and seasoned well. Everything was seasoned well actually. The burger was great. It was soft, great flavor and was just really solid. One of the best burgers I've had. The ribs were everyone's least favorite, but that just means the other food tasted better. Ribs were still good. All the sides were delicious as well. The Texas chili was great, the Mac and cheese was creamy and the potato salad tasted homemade. We could tell it was made in house. The sweet iced tea was refreshing, not overly sweet b Overall, I'll have to come back here to try their desserts and other items. I'll for sure be getting the burger and brisket again.
