First off, the food had good flavor. The problem lies within the high prices and small amount of food given. I had 5 large chunks in my Chicken tikka masala, which really was not a lot compared to other Indian food places I have eaten at in Salem. For $18, I expected more chicken. The buttered chicken had a decent amount of chicken, but substantially less in the packaging. Since I ordered the food, I cannot comment on the service or the ambiance. 10/10!!! We were those customers who walked in just 20 minutes before closing at the new downtown location but you would've never known it. The staff welcomed us warmly without missing a beat. It may seem odd but their rice puts them above the competition. It's light and fluffy and perfectly seasoned with saffron. Outside my Persian relatives, it is the best rice I've had in a long time. I tell people I'm a vegetarian when the vegetarian is good or great. This is a great place to be a vegetarian if you choose to. The Veggie Korma was seasoned perfectly and I think I could eat it every day. This is the last day of their half price grand opening event, but their prices aren't bad normally. Let me start by saying I think the food is absolutely amazing and worth the price. I get the butter chicken and the garlic naan and am never disappointed. HOWEVER, never open. Even when they are "suppose" to be open according to their hours, they are not. I chose the chicken tikka masala - it was very good , big chunks of chicken , I chose the medium hot , in hindsight I would have done spicy , but I was trying other foods .
