I'm a regular at the Pearland location and was excited to check out this location in Iowa Colony which is just south of Pearland. My friend who lives in the neighborhood and I decided we should do pizza at his house and gather up some friends. It was a Monday night and the Texans had a playoff game. Center Court happens to run one of the best deals around on Mondays which is get any of their pizzas for 12 bucks. Glad we ordered ahead because everyone in the area had the same idea. The parking lot was full and there was a wait to get our food even with ordering way ahead. The restaurant sits on the end of a strip of businesses and this location even has a patio and playground. We got a variety of their specialty pies and they were all solid. The Ninja Turtle is a pepperoni lovers kind of pizza It was loaded with pepperoni and lots of extra cheese. Free Throw was their take on a supreme. It had the meats plus some veggies to brighten up that bite a little bit. Carnivore was a meat lovers type of pizza. There may be a thing of too much meat as it was a little on the dry side. A little more sauce would have gone a long way with that one. Asian Persuasion was one of my favorites of the night. Think of pho on a pizza. It had a gochujang base with beef, onions and fresh jalapenos. It was different in a good way. Lastly, we got the Buffalo Chicken pizza. It was another favorite of the night. It had some heat and the buffalo sauce did not overpower the pizza. One thing I also love about their pizza is that they season their crust with this wonderful green concoction of I don't know what, but it works. We didn't stray from pizza on this trip, but Center Court has lots of other options as well. They have calzones, pastas, burgers, sandwiches, salads and desserts. Two of my all time favorite things they serve is their pepperoni rolls and their wings. Their wings are some of my favorite in the whole city. I have yet to go to a Center Court that has let me down. I will definitely be returning here if in the area.

Decent selection of beer on tap. The pizza is always good. Sometimes needs to be cooked a lil longer though. Love the seasoning they put on the crust too. I'm a fan of the cannonballs, which are essentially deep fried jalepeno poppers in ball shape. Wings are good as well. We go with the breaded ones with lemon pepper and a side of buffalo sauce and blue cheese. Good pricing and average service. It's close to the house and a solid options for pizza and wings with the family. Plenty of room for big party's and a playground out back.

All of the chains like Buffalo Wild Wings…read moreand Wingstop put out horrible food these days and there isn't much effort that goes into the wings at spots like that. But Flava Wings? Yup, they definitely have a repeat customer in me. First off, one of the easiest ways to get 5 stars out of me is to be CONSISTENTLY good. There are some restaurants I go to strictly for the experience, but quick takeout spots like Flava Wings need to be tried a few times before I feel comfortable leaving a review. I can't speak to the only slightly above favorable reviews (I typically won't try a place ranked lower than 4 stars unless someone I trust recommends it), but I can only speak from my experience. The caveat is that I have never physically been to the restaurant, so my review is based only on the quality of deliveries. For what it's worth, I hear it's in a gas station. There are a couple wing flavors that I'm pretty much addicted to and must order every time I order: the "Ooooweee Sticky & Wet" and the plain, extra crispy. The Sticky and Wet sauce remind me of a tangier version of Chicago mild sauce (if you know, you know). Their wings are full of flavor and always come fresh, hot, and presentable. What I like most is that the wings are on the bigger side but not so big that they look like they're on steroids. They have a nice crispy snap when you bite into them and the texture is always perfect. Another standout menu item is their Cajun corn and the apple pie egg rolls (just try it). The crinkle fries are also good, and I like the seasoning they use on them. They make for a good pairing with the wings. They also offer standard dipping sauces like ranch and bleu cheese. Flava Wingz is definitely a place I'd love to get a catering order from to feed a bunch of people. Everyone I have introduced this place to loves it and is also a repeat customer. I may try actually going in to see what the establishment is like, but honestly, unless I see Master Splinter from Ninja Turtles cooking my food, I will continue to indulge. If you like wings that are fried to perfection, consistently tasty, and well seasoned, give them a shot.

I assume since the NBA finals where on when I arrived to the restaurant it's was going to be super packed but it was indeed the opposite restaurant was empty of customers and they only had 6 order on the screen. All dining chairs where put up on top of tables at 10:35 pm and employees was doing a boil out which mean switching the cooking oil from the machine that boil oil for wings and fries. I recently called and was placed on hold for over 40 minutes after being asked to wait, only to eventually be hung up on. When I politely asked for the employee's name, I was told they didn't have to provide it. To make matters worse, this happened twice in two days while I was trying to redeem free food that had been offered by a manager to make up for a previous bad experience. The staff members I encountered appeared uninterested in helping customers and showed very little professionalism. I also witnessed rude interactions with elderly customers who were simply asking questions about the menu. I understand this isn't a five-star restaurant, but there should still be a basic standard of customer service and respect. Unfortunately, this location falls far below that expectation. During my visit, chairs were stacked throughout the dining area in the middle of the day, making the restaurant appear unwelcoming and poorly managed. What was most disappointing / disgusting was the overall attitude from the staff. Customer concerns seemed to be treated as an inconvenience rather than part of their job. Employees openly expressed their frustrations where customers could hear them and, in some cases, directly to customers themselves. As I'm in line... just walked in. Management and corporate leadership should seriously consider reviewing this location's operations, customer service standards, and employee training. This was easily one of the worst Wingstop experiences I've had. It's honestly surprising that no changes appear to have been made despite issues that seem obvious to anyone who visits.

I also ordered a side of potato salad. Let's start with the positives. The potato salad was pretty good. It wasn't heavily seasoned, but adding a little seasoning made a noticeable difference, and I enjoyed it. The fish was another positive. I like my fish fried extra crispy, and they absolutely delivered on that. The texture was exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint is that the fish itself wasn't seasoned, but the hot sauce they provided definitely helped elevate the flavor. Now for the downsides. The shrimp was the biggest disappointment for me. It's coated in a different batter that's more similar to a tempura-style batter, and I simply wasn't a fan. The batter was very fragile and kept falling apart, leaving plain shrimp underneath that had virtually no seasoning. Also, I personally wouldn't consider these "jumbo" shrimp. They looked more like large shrimp to me. The fries were an even bigger letdown. Unfortunately, I don't have anything positive to say about them. They were extremely hard, tasted stale, and weren't enjoyable at all. I'm not sure if they had been sitting for a while or if the grease needed to be changed, but they were inedible for me and ended up in the trash. Thankfully, I ordered the potato salad because that ended up replacing the fries. My other concern was the value. The fish and shrimp combo alone was $19.99 before tax, and that didn't include the potato salad. For that price point, I expected better seasoning, fresher fries, and an overall higher-quality meal. Overall, this was my first visit, and I truly wanted to love it. I think my expectations were high because of all the positive reviews, but the meal simply didn't deliver for me. The fish had a great crispy texture, and the potato salad was enjoyable, but everything lacked of seasoning, the shrimp was disappointing, the stale fries, and overall value left me feeling underwhelmed.
