While we were there, it was obvious that a bulk of their business is take out. Plenty of people came in to pick up their orders. One of my biggest gripes of late with their take out has been the portion size. It is noticeably smaller than other places. So when we sat down to eat, I was pleased to know that we could get more rice. We had 3 bowls of rice. But the nicest part was we didn't even have to ask. The guy asked us if we wanted more rice...3 times! I think I may have to eat there more often.

Just not a place I'll frequent as often anymore, unfortunately. Really had hoped this wouldn't happen because they were so awesome when they opened. While still a decent tasting pizza, the value just isn't there anymore. The crust used to have this unique crunchy chewy texture and was really tasty. Now, the crust seems to be more like that thin cardboardy kinda crust many pizza places unfortunately have. Just kinda yucky and ruins the pizza. We used to really enjoy their other non pizza menu items, too, but they're just not appealing anymore, the portions have really shrunk, and are now really pricey for what you get. They never fill beverage cups so that they're full & they use small cups as it is. Masala Pizza was never inexpensive to begin with, and now prices have gone up at least $2-$3 an item. Value has plummeted. I believe I could get grub I'm happier with and probably more of it than spending $50 on a couple of thin, rather skimpy mediocre pizzas. To be honest, I'd rather just spend the money at the grocery store to eat for a week. Too much cumulative skimping they probably hope you won't notice while your dollars free flow into their possession. Service is always polite & it's still pretty easy to place orders. There are a few small tables inside which won't accommodate groups, though we were once told that we could sit outside at the tea place next door. More fitting as a place to primarily pick up your food and go.

I had to wait another 15 minutes. My order was incorrect I ordered butter chicken (which was pretty good) with rice, and an additional side of garlic naan. Today I stopped by for lunch, just walking by, and ordered their mild G.O.A.T Dum Biryani and Mango Lassi. Kiran the cashier was nice and polite, very knowledgeable and answered all my requests very well. The food came out quickly and hot. I think the mango lassi was a bit small for it's price but tasted homemade. The goat was extremely spicy for me, even after I was asked how spicy I would like it, and I replied very mild, not spicy. It's was difficult to eat it without a lot of extra toppings and sauces to make it more mild, but then my rice turned into soup. I think that if you normally like the spices that made with Indian food you'll agree with the other reviewers here that it's a nice place to eat. For me it too hot and spicy! As a bonus they offered me to try their desert: Mango Rabadi and a small sample of their chicken kabob. The Mango Rabadi was very good, a pleasant sweetened dessert, but the chicken kabob was also super spicy for me but full of flavor! If you like Indian food it sounds like this is the place to go, but for me it's way too spicy! The owner and the cashier were very nice and friendly. I hope they fulfill the area's Indian food option as best they can in the years to come.

We went with a large group for a very late lunch this past Sunday, which worked out perfectly because we could order a ton of food and try a bit of everything. Despite it being well past lunch hour, at least half of the tables were still filled. Service was a bit slow, though, and we spent a fair amount of time waiting for our server to take our order or for our food to arrive. PACHI MIRCHI GOBI - 13.99 The fried cauliflower was crunchy and loaded with chilis, spices, and aromatics. Sadly, there was also an aggressive amount of cilantro, so I spent more time than I'd like picking the leaves off my food. Still, it was a good appetizer to keep us from getting too cranky while waiting for our entrees. PANEER MAJESTIC - 14.99 The paneer was cut in the shape of Fritos corn chips, which was something I hadn't seen before. It was quite saucy, but the thin, small pieces felt overcooked and had more of a firm tofu-like texture than the soft, mozzarella-like texture I was hoping for. There was also, unfortunately, more cilantro. TANDOORI CHICKEN - 17.99 This came out sizzling in a skillet, and the fragrant smoke immediately made my mouth water. It was already 3 PM and I was hungry, so the timing couldn't have been better. Each piece was incredibly well-seasoned and juicy. My tongue was burning a little by the end, but I didn't care because it tasted so amazing straight off the skillet. I'd highly recommend this. CURRY LEAF CHICKEN - 14.99 I've never had curry leaf chicken before, but I'm officially a fan. The chicken was tender, bathed generously in a curry leaf-based sauce with a complex depth of flavor. I couldn't quite tell you what all the spices were, but I knew I kept reaching back for another piece. CHICKEN DUM BIRYANI - 14.99 A pretty standard Hyderabadi-style biryani, with the chicken tucked underneath the generously spiced rice. Each bite had a nice dry heat, and the chicken was pretty good, but it wasn't particularly memorable compared to some of the other dishes we ordered. MUTTON BIRYANI (GOAT) - 16.99 This is my friend's favorite biryani, and after trying it, I can see why. Similar to the chicken biryani, the mutton was served underneath the rice, but the meat itself was the star. It was incredibly tender and not gamey at all, with rich, fatty flavors that elevated the biryani. If there was one entree I kept reaching for, it was this one. I'd highly recommend it. MANGO LASSI - 6.49 A bit pricy, but smooth, rich, and creamy with a refreshing mango flavor and a tough of yogurty acidity. It was exactly what I needed to cool down from all the spice. Overall, the food was packed with spices and flavor, the prices were reasonable, and we were completely stuffed. The biryani portions were massive -- I couldn't easily turn one serving into three meals. If I lived nearby, I'd definitely be picking up a biryani to-go.

We rolled the dice anyway and let's just say, they weren't wrong. Lol. We let him know the "mild" had a bit more of a kick than we expected. He recommended we use yogurt and had some brought to the table. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. Each dish was $16 and I was impressed with the portion size. They don't even charge for extra rice. Next time we'll skip the biryani since it was too spicy and just order the extra rice.

It looked like they were in the middle of a renovation and quickly put up some tables so they could feed people. I wasn't even sure how to ask for a table when we walked in, there was no visible staff. Picked this place because it had good ratings on Yelp, so not sure what they normally look like and if this is a representation of what they're really like. You could tell this place was authentic because there were three other tables and they were all Indian. We got: Masala Mirchi Bhajji - battered and fried chili pepper stuffed with onion. Tarka Dal - yellow lentils Chicken Tikka masala - chicken in a thick creamy sauce The flavors are great, we didn't specify our heat level and we got medium and it was really spicy. I love spicy and can handle spicy, but it was almost too much for me. One food downside, they didn't provide much rice with the dish. The menu is exactly what you see on the website, small print, no pictures. So you have to know what you're looking for or ask a lot of questions. We made the mistake of coming here (on a weekday evening) and left wondering, "How is this place still open???". There weren't any other customers, which should have been the first sign to leave. Zero decor, second sign to leave. The menu looked like it was typed up by a high schooler, no description and was partially hand written, final sign to leave. Unfortunately, being that we had high hopes (since their buffet used to be good), we stayed and ordered a chicken vindaloo and mutter paneer with naan. The naan was like rubber, not sure if it was heated in the microwave or old. The chicken vindaloo looked/tasted like regular chicken curry and had bones, which wasn't even mentioned on the menu. I have ordered chicken vindaloo from many other India restaurants and they always had boneless chicken and actually tasted like vindaloo.
