Robin is a great hostess, respected my space, but was there for anything I needed, even just to visit. I saw them host birthday parties that looked fun and very well planned. If it's for a birthday party, weekend getaway or an extended stay, I highly recommend Figment Ranch.

If you're obsessed with llamas and alpacas like me, then this is your place!!…read more Robin, whose this sweet lady, and her husband runs and lives on this ranch so she's always available to answer any of your questions. She takes her time to answer any questions that you may have and you can tell she pours her whole heart into this nonprofit organization. During the pandemic they don't do as many tours a day, so make sure you book in advance. I came one Sunday morning with my family of 10 and she reserved the whole tour just for us, what a treat! Robin used to be a teacher so she's provided us with very educational information about the animals that live on her ranch. She takes her time and explain and shows us how to care for each animal. You get to be hands on and touch every animal there, which I really enjoyed and appreciate! There were turtles, rabbits, turkeys, ducks, goats, pigs, and the main attraction of course are the llamas and alpacas. This place is really one of a kind and is so special. Freest experience for the whole family that adults and children can enjoy and make some memories. Oh, and did I mention they have 2 Airbnb on their ranch where you can wake up to these animals? What a neat idea!

The issue is no one has a proper paper trail really…read more Consigners say the Lego belongs to them Previous owners agree but sold store and all contents New owners say we bought all contents so we don't have anything on consignment Co signer needs to sue both old and new owner and let a judge sort it out They didn't sell the store. Corporate BAM came in and took over the store. BAM is a franchise churn scam. They get you to buy in, pay franchise fees, then take over the stores and steal inventory, levy fines on the franchisees and then sell it to the next unsuspecting franchisee. Your statements are almost all factually wrong. The LEGOs do belong to the consigners - there is no dispute here. Previously owner did not sell the store - it was taken by BAM franchising on the threat of lawsuits New owners are actually BAM corporate employees who have done this hostile corporate takeover thing several times (Josh Johnson, Brandon Best). New owners didn't say we don't have anything on consignment...What they actually said was that didn't sign the consignment agreement, so therefore it's none of our business. The problem is then they can't take over the inventory that never belonged to the store. Their whole scam is pretending that since they didn't sign the consignment agreement, then it doesn't exist and therefore they don't have to return the inventory that never belonged to the old owners. Here are more facts: Josh Johnson said that they had the LEGOs but it belonged to the store's inventory. Bryan Mansell (the consigner) sent one of his friends to buy one of his own sets after the takeover, proving that Josh Johnson and Brandon Best still had some of his inventory and were actively selling it in 2024 and 2025. So, the franchise owners reportedly live in American Fork, Utah; but the franchise where the theft occurred was in Keizer, Oregon, which is essentially a suburb of the state capitol city of Salem, Oregon. It now appears that the franchise owners relocated the Lego sets belonging to Brian Mansell's father to their other store in Eugene, Oregon the night they took over the Keizer store, then claimed to have no knowledge of their existence. It also appears that the entire collection was only actually worth about $120k rather than the $200k originally reported, and that the Mansell's were paid for about 30-40% of the collection that had been sold already before the franchise was taken over. A YouTuber that goes by Coffeezilla did what appears to be the most in-depth and accurate reporting on the whole situation if you want to get further into it.

I'm considering moving to the Longwood Cypress neighborhood soon so I really wanted to like this…read morecourse. Overall, it's a decent course, but has some issues and is generally overpriced. The man in the pro shop was friendly, but the starter was rather gruff. I appreciated that the cart girl came by at least 3 times during our round. One of the clubhouse restaurant workers was pretty rude but the others were nice. The layout of each hole was enjoyable, but the signage between holes was lacking and/or confusing. I genuinely got lost once and another player helped me out. If it's your first time playing here you might find that a little annoying. It was also odd that the course design doesn't bring you back to the clubhouse (for quick snack/beer refill) until hole 12. The greens, although not perfect, were solid. The fairways were in ok shape but no better than typical municipal courses. This is definitely a decent course, however there's no way it's worth the $115 weekend rate. The carts were super basic and didn't even have coolers. A lot of the cart path was compacted dirt instead of pavement. They only have trash cans every few holes and I didn't see a ball cleaner all day (maybe I missed that). These factors don't impact the game but I expect better for $115. For a little more $ I could play at a pristine course like Golf Club of Houston. If they enhanced overall conditions or charged around $70 I think this would be a good option.
