I'm sure others may have a different experience, especially if they don't struggle with acne or sensitivity, but I really wish I had listened to some of the other reviews before going. I was already considering Accutane beforehand, and my skin became so much worse after this facial that I'm now on it. Please be cautious if you have reactive or acne-prone skin.

Before I ever lived in NY, I heard about how Bonnie gives "the best facials in existence" from my entire family. No surprise that she has all 5 star reviews on Yelp. The experience was somehow even better than anticipated. Bonnie is a real master of her craft. She can and will restore even the most inflamed irritates and stressed out skin. She has all the knowledge and training of from her years working in dermatology, her expertise is clear, but so is her CARE. She cares for her clients and their skin. Also she is so kind and sweet. We did a deep cleaning (because my skin needed it!) A peel and LED light therapy. With Blue and red light. The Blue kills the bacteria and red heals the skin and its anti aging, but with one treatment you get a nice glow. While I don't care much about having a tan, I do value the bacteria zapping benefits and found the warm light to be very relaxing. Can't tell you how bad my skin has been due to stress and masks etc., It feels really wonderful to have my skin deeply and thoroughly cleaned by a professional. Not only does my skin feel and look better, I feel more relaxed. Bonnie also gave me tips to improve my skin care regimen, let me know my current moisturizer is clogging my pores, but suggested a few to try and even wrote out a very helpful post-facial care summary for me! Bonnie was so lovely and so careful. She had a mask and visor on, every patient completes a COVID safety form *before* their appointment and theres plenty of hand sanitizer and extra masks when you get there. I had a few painful ear pimples from mask wearing and Bonnie got them (without me having to she did cleaned every zit behind my ears under my chin on along my hairline). She also gave me a clean mask to wear home! Bring an extra mask so you don't have to put your dirty mask on your newly cleaned face! She does have plenty extra in case you forget. I know times are stressful and tough right now, but if you've been thinking about prioritizing your self-care and skincare, I couldn't recommend Bonnie enough!

The owner and manager's unfortunate arrogance, poor management, and lack of respect for their customers have made it clear that they don't value the people who support their business: This place requires a strict 24 hour cancellation policy, but cancels appointments less than 2 hours before appointment time. This has happened on multiple occasions all on flimsy excuses, with an impersonal email, while you have already planned your day. Once or twice is understandable, but repeated instances demonstrate a lack of professionalism and disregard for customers' time (I tolerated this many times over the years) - and they call their last-minute cancellations a "policy", while it is a pattern. Instead of making efforts to retain customers or offer any meaningful resolution, when I finally spoke up, The "manager" working that day right off the bat suggested that I take my business elsewhere, canceled all my future appointments, and deactivated my account as retaliation. My effort to reach the manager was ignored, and they chose to communicate solely over email. The tone was combative and filled with attitude; the manager even lied about the reasons for my past appointment cancellations (see screenshot). There was no accountability and they made no effort to accommodate the customer - there's only immediate defensiveness, dysfunctional communication, and punitive measures for voicing concerns - all on top of yet another last-minute cancellation. Rather than valuing customers and handling things differently, they chose to push them away. When I reported this incident to the owner Rani, rather than addressing my concern, she demanded that I take down my online review in exchange for continued service. When I refused, she aligned with the manager and reinforced severing the relationship (adding, "we wish you the best in your future endeavors"). She also refused to acknowledge the manager's behaviors or take any accountability. This business has failed to uphold even basic professionalism and courtesy. The owner only cares about herself.

As far as the service- before we started Angela checked out my skin and made sure I have a proper skin care routine. She uses dermalogica products which are not cheap and has all the latest equipment (steamer, heated bed, etc). Angela suggested I get the hydrating facial and it did not disappoint. I was tired of paying hundreds of dollars for someone to essentially wash and massage my face but not thoroughly get to the root of the infection. Hannah went straight to the point and told me this is basically not a relaxing type of facial but one that cures the face. She started by deeply exfoliating the face to remove the dead skin and then did the extractions. The extractions HURT but it's the only way to ensure the breakouts dont return. You must get the blackhead out from the root and that's what she does. She explains your skin type and what's happening to your skin and what's the plan to get you to healthy skin. She also recommends products that she doesn't even sale which to me is a green flag. Hannah also ensures you know the price of things beforehand so you're not shocked at the end and get a change to agree or not. My face looks insane right how so I make sure to carry a reusable face mask when I'm in public because it looks like I got attacked by bees lol I can't wait to see what my skin will look like in the next 3-6 months.

Actually, there's no other professional like Hannah. Leave everything to her. People will ask what cleansers/lotions/acid your putting onto your face. I just tell people to go to Hannah. GO. NOW!!!
