You do see people parking in the road but I'm not going to get a ticket for blocking the roadway. They don't take all insurance. Maybe they changed but they don't take that GoodRX. The worst thing about this is MISS cleo. She's hateful, disrespectful, just rude as can be and it kills her soul to speak to you to say hello. She dyes her hair black and looks like an elderly Morticia from the Addams family. Then you have the little dude who used to work the counter. Such long hair. Maybe they should pay him enough so he can buy product so it won't look like he's being electrocuted with the frizzies? Last time I saw him, he had a coat on with the pharmacies name that was like four times too big. I guess he's not worth or going to hang around long enough to get a coat that fits him. Things started going down hill when that Amanda left. She was nice but vain. Then you have the little girls who think they're a 10 but really like a 3 who think every guy who comes in is going to hit on them. Rarely, do you ever get anyone in there that can just say hello, glad to see you or whatever. It's old MISS cleo with her grating voice hollering "NAME!" They still have that plastic sheet up from the pandemic. Maybe it's to keep MISS cleo from grabbing the customers? Granted, I do find it interesting to hear her regale her times during the war, the War Between The States, that is. There really isn't much of a wait time when you go there. I figure a lot of customers got tired of the attitude and went somewhere else. Even the doctor I go to in that same building, know of them and how difficult they can be. You have to watch MISS Cleo. If you have a drug that has refills on it, she'll refill it for you if you don't ask. This was a controlled substance. I had to tell my doctor about this. I told her I had a part bottle and two unopened bottles of this stuff. It made it look like I had been using very little of this med for years and then suddenly maxing out on it. She said to look at meds at the counter and to refuse them if they pulled that again. Miss cleo's hairis jet black. It's really quite a site to see. No one but her hairdresser and everyone in town knows for sure. Do yourself a favor, if you're looking for a pharmacy, you haven't found one in this joint. I did contact the licensing board over this old gal. The board either issues or revokes. They don't mediate. I came very close to filing a complaint against them.

I'm not always the best customer to deal with. Never rude just late way too much. I won't go into my personal life but it has been in a vice for many years and contributes to my tardiness to say the least. They always greet me with a smile and go far beyond the call of duty to make sure they are doing everything in their power to be a great place to do business. If you're debating which pharmacy to use, debate no more. I manage one of my family's store and I've been doing customer service for almost 20 years. No one and I mean no one, adds up to these folks. Came here from Atlanta for R to get his first COVID-19 vaccination. This was the location that…read morecame up when he searched for the earliest appointment for the vaccination, so he booked it. I went with him to drive him home "just in case." His appointment was at 10:15 am on a Sunday, and he checked in a little after the pharmacy opened at 10 am. At 10:15, R was called to the private room where he was given his first dose, and was told to have a seat in one of the socially distanced chairs for people waiting for pharmacy transactions, and, if he didn't experience any immediate reactions, he could leave after 15 minutes. While R was waiting, I walked around the store, just looking closely at things. That's when I realized this Walgreens is better maintained and managed than most other Walgreens I've been to. The aisles seem wider, it's very clean and uncluttered, and organized. Where I've seen items on shelves in other Walgreens just haphazardly placed, or the last of the inventory shoved to the back of the shelves, where, sometimes they can't be seen, someone at this Walgreens took the time to move items, even the last one of that item, to the very front of the shelves making it easy for customers to find what they're looking for. I was very impressed by this detail! The only thing that I could suggest is that the non-pharmacy employees engage with customers by, at the minimum, acknowledging that they are there. There were two employees who mainly stood behind the cash register at the front, and didn't say a word even though they made eye contact with me. A "Hello" or "Can I help you find anything?" would have been a courteous thing to do. Parking should be easy to find since the free parking lot wraps around Walgreens and is used only by the store's customers.

I came here for one item…read more(a shipping box), but ultimately left spending over $50 on things, which I guess is a good thing for them. My wallet, not so much. Now, overall, it's a Walgreens. They've got the same thing your local Walgreens has. They've got a pharmacy, a photo center, a lot of things you don't need and then some. But I will say, the associate who waited on me was so friendly and I'm upset I never got her name. She made sure every bag was double-bagged. She made sure my rewards number was entered in correctly. She was sweet and friendly and made sure the customer service experience was great. At the end of the transaction I left the box there, the one item I actually needed. She made sure I didn't leave without it. So I'm very impressed and thankful. If I was in this area more often I would frequent this location for certain.

So, I called to ask what their terms for sales are only to have the phone ring and ring. Their sign at the door says they open at 10, but when I was there around 11, there was no one around! This happened a total of 3 times and on the 4th, I was lucky to catch them open. Not only were the gentlemen who run the store out (again), but the woman sitting at the desk was unhelpful and rude. I told her I had some things I wanted to put up for consignment, she just stared at me and said, "Yeah?" I asked for who I needed to speak with, and she told me that the "guys are out, they'll be back in an hour, come back then". When I asked her about no one coming around to open the store, no one answering phones, and my frustration that this was my fourth trip up here, she simply looked at me and said, "Sorry you feel that way." Really? That's how you treat potential business? Maybe my standards are too high... I was so angry, I just walked out. I'll give away my furniture before I take it to them. A consignment store would be awesome in Byron... if they can get their act together.

You will hear Mr. or Miss so and so mentioned as terms of respect for the more senior members of the staff. I'm just going to have to say it, much of their stuff is cheap quality but it's stuff that you'd likely want to buy. Granite stock pot. You used to see these years ago but good luck finding it any place else. Furnishings. Yeah, some interesting and often items not seen at other places but again, either you like it or you don't. Sometimes you'll go all over town looking for something and find it here. However, the store has gone downhill. Garden section is largely nothing but stuff you don' want. They used to have a video rental which is long gone. The clothes. Naw, last time I bought a shirt there, washed it once and the colors ran, so not going to go there. Nothing much in the electronics section worth mentioning. Checking out is like Walmart, you wait forever. But, like I said, you will see things here that you won't find easily anywhere else. I've also found the staff to be quite helpful, except for one of the bosses, a black guy who was playing overseer over a younger white employee. That doesn't go over well with me, not so much black pushing on white but anyone treating someone like that. Parking lot should have been repaved years ago. For some reason they put in a curb and it makes getting across to the other side a chore. We used to have a store called Zayre's. it's like a lot that but still in business. I think there's a loyal customer base that is dying off. They could improve by treating employees like human beings and maybe carrying a few products that are of a higher quality. Forget stocking garden and plant stuff. it's too little, too late and not worth the extra cost, time to cart it inside and waiting to pay for it. No one wants to buy a bag of dirt that you can pick up with one finger and costs $3 bucks plus. Update the parking lot: PAVE IT. The little shopping center that it's in has been in decline for years. I did take notice of the white guy who was trying to load a purchase for me and the black supervisor sitting in a rocking chair waiting to chew him out because he took too long. That lost my business from that store. I don't care if someone's white, black or whatever, don't treat people like trash. And, especially, don't yell and degrade an employee in the public eye and ear shot. Hope the guy in the rocking chair gets to use it more often. He should be fired. Does this mean I'm saying Rose's the store is racist, no. I'm saying that black supervisor clearly was, in my opinion, and clearly enjoyed running down this poor guy who was white trying to do his best. I could see the joy in in his face and voice at being able to run down this guy. Not really a slick move. I'm sure it wasn't the first time that this black supervisor had tried to put him in his place. So, I'm saying that black supervisor is racist due to what I witnessed and that the white guy has a strong case against this supervisor who represented the store, meaning yeah, the store isn't racist but the supervisor in that case is and the whole store is liable. I hope he sues. I would gladly be a witness for this guy. If it were the other way around, that is, a white supervisor saying those things to a black employee that morning, it would have been a civil rights case by that afternoon. In this day and age, it doesn't matter on your race, you cannot get by with doing these things. Black lives matter, ok. White employees matter, black employees matter, all employees matter and should be treated like they're human beings and not fodder for a racist black dude who looked like he was on a first named basis with Jack Daniels. Sorry, but that's my opinion. If it were a white supervisor doing this to a black person, I'd be writing the same thing, if not more adamantly. This so called supervisor needs to be shown the door. He has opened himself and the whole chain to a major civil rights lawsuit and if it moves forward and bankrupts the whole company, he alone is to blame. Racism is a two-way street white against black and also black against white is possible and the norm.

I was in here for awhile, yes I one of those folks that likes to open up the products, and see if they meet my standards. The sale associates were very helpful. Heck I had them both laughing. They also sell things that you would find in an smoke shop. However, if you talk or inquiry about certain slang works you can get kicked out ( again another dumb rule). Hell they have everything that related to almost every drug paraphernalia but you can speak "certain words". What I will say is that they had some weird looking folks in there.
