I was so excited to see a local option to repair/re-screen sliding doors. We used Spencer's aluminum screening to re-screen the back slider in our new place. I was impressed with the quick turnaround on communication through Yelp using the quote request feature. We were able to get the door re-screened with pet strength screen material before our cat scratched through which was awesome. We liked the service so much we brought a family member's door and they were also able to get it quickly fixed. I reached out to Spencer to have two sliding glass door screens repaired, two screens created for missing fixtures, and one window screen repaired with animal proof mesh. He came by same day, gave me a quote and took the screens to be repaired. He came back a day later with the new screens and repaired screens in beautiful shape! Had a great experience with Spencer's. I had them replace mesh screens for 2 vinyl windows. Easy communication using Yelp messaging for getting a price and then organizing the work. All communication happened on the same day. For pandemic service they have a method where you drop off the screens with a note (including contact info), and they return the same way. Screens were done overnight, and we put them back in this morning. Great work, and would definitely use Spencer's again to replace more mesh screens. read more

We had a bunch of old windows screens that were really worn and a large sliding screen which was to big for me to transport. Spencer was able to fix them all up and provide pickup/delivery for a small fee. Screens look great and he the price was very affordable. He originally asked for two days to do the job, but did it in one day since it was a very hot day and he wanted us to be able to open our windows. read more

The screen door for our large sliding door had been damaged by our collie trying to charge through it. Spencer was a joy to work with. And, he was willing to come out and pick up the screen door, return it, and put it in place for a modest additional fee. The door was too large to transport with my vehicle. Spencer fixed the damage and also straightened out earlier damage that kept the the door from sliding easily. The door slides better than it has for years. read more

Very easy process for a rescreen. I asked for a quote on Yelp for 3 screens to get mesh replacement and got a response a few hours later with pricing and options. I showed up at the location across from the post office and dropped off my screens at the porch. There is pen, paper, and tape provided so you can mark the screens with your name and phone number. You then drop off a check for payment into the lockbox. (Don't bring credit card.) A few hours later, I received a call that the screens were ready. I drove by and picked them up. Very easy and no contact during COVID-19. Pricing-wise, it was actually a little cheaper than the others by a few bucks per screen. Quality was excellent. read more

Pull it out by the tabs, angle it out, bring it to Spencer's doorstep along with your phone number attached and a very modest payment in the secure box. 2-3 hours later, your screen is fixed and ready to back into your home. Not your typical business, but don't be alarmed. Really fast turn around and super responsive with phone calls and voice mails. read more

He or his crew goes to the house, uses the lockbox, makes an inventory, builds or repairs the screens and installs them. I have generally experienced same day or next day service. Five stars for phenomenal service, communication, and an overall great value from Spencer's, not to mention he's just a really nice guy. Our screen door has been an eyesore for the past 2 years. We tried to purchase one from Lowes but that was a disaster (the dimensions were not what the website said it would be and we were never refunded the shipping cost which was more than the cost of the door. Such a headache and I am still mad at them). 2 years later, I learn about Spencer's. We called and got a quote the same day. He talked me down to getting my door restrung as opposed to getting a brand new door, saving me about $100, and charged a totally reasonable fee for picking up the old door and delivering it after he had fixed it. It was done within 2-3 days and it looks terrific. He even oiled it to get rid of the squeaking. Amazing. I did not even know places like this exist and now I'm telling everyone. read more

I dropped off my screens (3) in the late afternoon and they were done early the next day! Spencer's provide pen, paper and tape for you to leave a message with your screens at the drop off, as well as providing different screen samples that you may want for your repairs. Our screens were falling apart due to the sun/age and we knew it was time to have them replaced. I called and asked a few questions and they were responsive and pleasant. I fit 8 screens in the back of my sedan, parked along the green zone in front of the post office, and then dropped the screens off on the porch.
