This was my first time here and I'm always nervous they're going to tell me I need something wildly expensive and since my knowledge of cars is nonexistent I never know what to do, but thankfully that didn't happen here. Drove right in, arrival to departure was 45 minutes and I got to sit in my car which was nice. They seem pretty organized and overall quite professional/pleasant. I got my oil changed and my tire pressure fixed which is the extent of what I wanted. The one downside was that they charged me for the wrong car at first, which is fine they refunded and fixed it. But I realized after they gave me the change oil sticker for the wrong car too so I'll have to remember how many miles I had when I went. Not a huge deal but a small bummer.

I looked at my clock, and the attendant said "oh yeah, uh, we're closing early today." Told me to come back first thing tomorrow morning, so I did. When I arrived with my fiancé, they told us they don't service fee at 500. Why didn't they tell me that the first time? I'm almost positive the person I was speaking to was a mechanic. I'm also upset because I went online to get a price quote and they told me how much it would cost, but did not tell me that that specific location did not service Fiats. I even got the quote for that specific location. All told, I wasted over 2 hours not getting an oil change. I am no longer a lube - head.

The explain things without making you feel dumb. That is especially nice if you're a woman because, from time to time, you'll have mechanics talk down to you. I've had experiences with mechanics bullshitting you and pressuring you to fix things. Not these giys. If they find something they let you know whether or not its a serious issue that needs to be taken care of ASAP or if its not immediate, in case you don't have the money. Unlike other mechanics, they don't pressure you to do fix something that isn't a serious issue. Overall good experience. The receptionist can be a bit gruff with people but never rude. Be warned, they have a ridiculously small tv in the waiting room so drop off if you can or, if you decide to wait, bring a book or make sure your smartphone is charged to do some web browsing.

When I went to pick up my car, they told me the cost was $94 when I was expecting closer to $40 because that's what I typically pay for. When I questioned it, they tried telling me that my car requires full synthetic oil- i responded that I've been getting conventional oil for as long as I've had the car, not to mention that it's an old car and one of the most basic models out there. The solution the mechanic offered to this was that if I really am concerned about the oil type, I can pay for a second oil change for them to take out the synthetic oil and put the conventional oil in. Needless to say I will NEVER be returning to this or any other Midas again.

They said it would take about 90 minutes and it was ready on time. However, when I went up to pay, there was now a gentleman quoting me $210. Great okay. I swipe my card and go on my way without realizing that they charged me $229. I call when I get home and explain the discrepancy. The woman responded and said "sure can you come in?" I thought it was plausible I would get the additional money back but when I get there she said "oh it's because we charge 3% on credit card payments" which is a crazy statement because I used a DEBIT card, they did more than a 3% fee and they couldn't tell me that on the phone before I wasted 30 minutes? This place is a joke, you're better off going somewhere else.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID…read more Beshat and the woman who I previously spoke very highly of were both extremely rude to me when they made a mistake. They told me my car was ready, gave me the keys and allowed me to drive off of their lot KNOWING it was a possibility my car would stop running. I left them and 30 minutes later I got multiple alerts on my dashboard, my check engine light came on, and my car slowed down at 50mph all the way down to 10! The car started jolting really hard and I received an alert that my engine was failing. Took it back and I was blamed because according to them, "we only do what you asked us" so Beshat claimed it was happening because my coil was old and I should not have told them to put the spark plugs in LOL like Im the mechanic. He was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. HE ALSO PUT HIS FINGER SO CLOSE TO MY FACE THAT MY EYES IMMEDIATELY FOCUSED ON THE TIP OF IT. Women beware especially because I can assure you if I was a man, that definitely would not have happened. By the grace of GOD, I was able to drive the car back to them( at 10-20mph) but unfortunately I had to leave it with them to fix. Remember I said, He and THE OWNER(extremely rude woman with drawn on eyebrows) both blamed me saying the coil was old and should have been replaced with the spark plugs- (mind you, they didnt tell me until AFTER the work was done and they said my car was ready) They told me to come back on Monday, and they would get the coil delivered and replace it. I leave them with the car, I go home and calm down. I make a call to them about a 45 minutes later to confirm they are able to get the part they need and to my surprise, the RUDE OWNER WITH THE DRAWN ON EYEBROWS says my car is ready. I go back. Guess what? IT turns out IT WAS THEIR FAULT! Just like I already knew, they changed the spark plugs and did not plug the coil in correctly! This came from BESHAT himself. So he pointed his finger in my face, told me it was my fault my car almost broke down on the highway, argued with me and yelled "SUE ME" multiple times all because they didnt do THEIR jobs. Neither him or the rude owner offered an apology. I still said thank you and left but I had to post this because their behavior was unacceptable. I was told to test drive and come back if there is another problem LOL. Again, these people are unprofessional and they have NO CLUE what they are doing, and I will never return. It is not the fact that a mistake was made, it is the fact that the first response was it was my fault and how unprofessional they were. They lost a customer. I was disrespected and gaslit into oblivion. If you still decide to go after reading this, just know that if THEY make a mistake, they will blame you and say YOU are responsible for their mistakes and you will not receive an apology! You may also have to deal with a finger in your face if you are a woman. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS! I forgot to add- The back brakes I paid them to put in from the google review- THOSE WENT BAD AFTER 4 MONTHS and had to be replaced also. Dont get brakes from them! The rude lady tried to tell me that brakes need to be checked every 6 months LOL! like I said they are incompetent. STAY AWAY!

From the first day I drove up I was greeted outside they came and talked to me in the car and we got things done in an okay time manner. Well after the oil change no one was aware on how to reset my car so the light all month kept saying I need to change my oil after 2 weeks and they said I was good on oil but I keep getting notifications about it which is giving me anxiety. The second time I went it was to tighten the lug nugs or whatever they're called and that took over an hour because I honestly think they forgot I was outside waiting I'm assuming. I will say I love how one of the gentlemen came to show me what was wrong with my rotors and showed me what it was supposed to be like and was able to quote me as well. I just don't know if I'll be going here or to the dealership because the price was a lot. Went from 4 star review to 3 star review because the "owners responses" you can tell this person doesn't really care about customer service just ratings and doesn't address a lot of concerns or provide solutions to the reviews and responses I've just read. I've done better than that. Idk. Just gave me an ick. Sorry Mavis

After coming here for 4 years for their overpriced and deceptive services, I'm taking my business…read moreelsewhere from now on. Granted that I don't know much about cars, I initially trusted the highly rated google reviews on this place since they seem to be run by honest people who are trustworthy. I really should've trusted my guts after my car's AC suddenly stopped working after taking it in for a yearly inspection here a couple of years ago, but I kept coming back in hopes that it was just a one-time thing (when I took the car back to have them take a look at it after that incident, they claimed the issue was not reproducible that there's nothing wrong with it. As if by magic, my AC suddenly worked after I picked up my car from them). This year, I dropped my car off with them for the yearly inspection and oil change (each of those services cost at least $100 btw). I was pretty busy at work when they texted me several images of my car tire. When asked if it needed a change, I was told it's highly recommended but not needed to pass the inspection. On the other hand, since I just replaced my car battery, I needed to drive my car in order to generate sufficient emissions data for the inspection. When I called them to ask about the tire issue on the phone, I was also told that the tires would only last around 25 more miles before they gave out. Since I don't wanna risk having a flat/blown out tires, I asked them to give me the quote for the cost of the tires. On the phone, they mentioned a set would be around $621. I thought it sounded a bit expensive, but after checking online, it seems like a reasonable range so I proceeded with it. They later sent me a text that all services (oil change + state inspection + 3 tires) would cost around $840. Mind you, whenever someone mentions a set of tires, one would assume they meant the entire set of 4 tires unless you're driving a tricycle. I didn't pay much attention to the part where they mentioned 3 tires since I thought it was a typo. Nope. I was fooled. They REALLY meant the change was only for a set of 3 tires. Since I picked up my car at the end of a workday, I didn't have much energy left for anything else than to just get home and rest. Granted that I've been going to this place for the past 4 years, I also thought that my loyalty to them would allow me to trust them with a high level of service. To hell with that expectation since none of the following were provided on the day I picked up the car: 1) the digital invoice (they link they sent on the day of service did NOT work), 2) the physical copy of the invoice, 3) the information on the tires' warranty, which they claimed verbally was only 6 months from the date of service or based on the tires' thread life, and 4) the safety inspection results. Before I picked up my car, I looked up Yokohama tire's website (the manufacturer of the kind I purchased), and it clearly states that they offer a warranty up to 65,000 mile and a 30-day trial satisfaction guarantee. After mentioning this to Ken's Auto on the call, they said that guarantee is only applicable if I were to 1) purchase 4 tires, and 2) submit the claim on my own on Yokohama's website. Granted that I last changed all 4 of my tires at Costco at the same time, I fail to understand why they'd only change only 3 of them ESPECIALLY if it would limit me from being able to get the manufacturer's warranty honored. Any automotive resources would also tell you the replacing either a set of 2 tires (front-wheel drive) or 4 tires (all wheel drive) simultaneously would be optimal to prevent uneven wear and tear and maintain balanced handling. This place has snake oil dripping down their teeth when they mentioned that the last tire didn't need to be replaced since it's still in good working condition and that I'm being charged fairly since I wouldn't be able to find a business that'd install my tires without charging for the labor costs (hello, Costco does this ALL the time). The part that pissed me off the most was how gaslighting they were about all the things they mentioned on the phone call and texts as follows: 1) they claimed they never told me my tires would only last 25 more miles, and 2) they claimed they DID inform me that I'd be charged for 3 tires by the 3 text images (despite the fact that they look like they're pictures of the same tire but from a slightly different angle) as well as on the phone (a complete lie). If you're looking for an honest and trustworthy car shop, this place isn't it. Keep looking elsewhere and save your money. Update: In response to Ken L.'s reply, I'd like to clarify that the estimates were provided AFTER the complaint call. The link to the invoice on the date of the service only says to "contact the shop to reshare the link". I was probably put on blast/speaker by the business during the complaint call rather than when the original conversation concerning the tires issue and pricing. So much for customer service...
