Watch out for this place!! They are either just seriously negligent or may be scheming to not only overcharge you but NOT cover you in an event of an accident!! (Read until the end) I've been with this agency for some years now and the quality of service has really gone downhill. The past few months dealing with them has been excruciating, just to have automatic payment work. I was charged a reinstatement fee after my info being put in incorrectly on their end, I had to speak to my bank so I can let this agency know this was an error on their end, and to wave the reinstatement fee. They successfully waved the fee and automatic payment details were supposedly updated. 2/22/2023, Couple of months later I'm having the same issue again, but this time I am having a very RUDE customer service representative agent "assist" me. She told me her name is Lana. She keeps insisting that I pay the reinstatement fee but when she notices that I am adamant about not paying it because the issue is clearly not my fault, only then does she decide to transfer me to the actual company that handles my policy. I clear the issue with them, they told me it was this agency that put in my address information wrong. They wave the reinstatement fee. I call back to this agency to let them know that my policy is reinstated and to check with their system that my information is correct. I am speaking to who I know is Lana again, and she first says she doesn't have my information (which I know is a lie) and states that the company with my policy and this agency should have the same information, so there's no need to check. I ask her to just read back the information to me because I notice there had been a discrepancy within their system. She proceeds to repeat the same thing to me. I told her that I actually had to delete the old information at the policy company and reinput it because it was incorrect, and she said well the automatic payment should be the same on our system as it is on theirs. I let her know, they don't have automatic payment up on their end as of now because I told them I no longer trusted this agency's automatic payment system ....(If your system is showing the exact same thing, shouldn't you know that there is no longer automatic payment???) I then ask her to check my card and address details again, to which she only agrees to the addresses check (so she was lying and did in fact have my information) It turns out it was NOT CORRECT like I've been saying this entire time. I told her I don't want automatic payment from this agency any longer and our conversation ended. I don't know if they are doing this on purpose to make people pay extra fees on reinstatement every month or not, but the customer service I received was MEDIOCRE at best. This agent claimed to not have my information, was adamant on making me pay UNNECESSARY extra fees, and overall extremely rude and reluctant to help. It just seemed like she did not want to help me at all, whatsoever. Super unprofessional and negligent. Also, if your policy is cancelled like mine was and has to be reinstated, the period that it is cancelled for until it is reinstated, you are not covered in any accidents. So essentially this may be used as a tactic to make you pay not only full price for your coverage and MORE for instatement, while not actually covering you for a period of time month to month. AND if you get in an accident, they will most likely not cover you! Watch out for this agency!!!! read more

Don't trust Sammy. To start I've been using Speedy Insurance for 5+ years w/o problems. Then I got him. My rates started going up and I was asking questions he was not helpful in explaining my payment thoroughly, found him unprofessional and condescending. Essentially telling me it is what it is, "that everyone is paying more" and basically I should be fine with what I was paying. I initially submitted paperwork for lower premium and while initially helping he the kept stonewalling me. Or not returning calls. Finally after weeks of going back and forth, saying some "statewide policy change" made it so I was no longer available for the lower premium. I constantly had to contact him when he said he would follow up with me. Moral of the story, I saved MYSELF $300 on my premium by doing my own due diligence and calling my Auto Insurance directly. They told me that he wasn't giving me correct information. Don't use the guy. He gets paid whether he does a good job or a bad one and doesn't care what you pay. He doesn't call back and shrugs his shoulders when he should be trying to get you the lowest price. Severely disappointed. Everyone else is great so far. If you want to burn money, go with Sammy. I switched over to Miss Yasmin. Hopefully she can restore my confidence in the good work Speedy has done over the years. Otherwise, it may be time to move on. read more

I genuinely do not understand how a company can be so insanely unprofessional and incompetent. I called to cancel my policy last month to finally be rid of this company and received and signed a cancellation confirmation document via DocuSign. 2 days later, they charge my card for the policy that I had literally just cancelled. My husband called the actual insurance company to find out why we were charged, and it turns out that Speedy Insurance never communicated to them that we cancelled that policy, so we asked the insurance company to take away the autopay on this policy so we wouldn't get charged again because of Speedy Insurance's incompetence. So we call Speedy Insurance and remind them that we cancelled last month and have the signed document to prove it. They said they've finally cancelled it and that we should receive a refund for the charge. Now today, we receive a text from someone at Speedy named Alejandra saying our policy is pending cancellation due to non payment. I don't understand how cancelling a policy is so difficult for these people. Absolutely every single one of the workers here are on different pages and seem to never communicate because why are we still being pestered by this Alejandra person? It's been nonstop issues with this company since day 1. They must be having people submit false 5 star reviews because I can't believe anyone would be satisfied with this kind of confusion and constant headaches.
