Gillmore Insurance Company in Yucaipa, CA did an amazing job helping my family out with getting our home insured. Our current company which I can't say but it rhymes with "Charmers" jacked up our yearly premiums from $4000.00 a year to $19,800.00 which is absolutely ridiculous and I am not exaggerating this jump in monthly premiums and just Incase math isn't your strong suit that is $1,650.00 a month which is more then my mortgage payment. Not only did "Darlene Mejia" from Gilmore Insurance helped me out but also my father and his homeowners insurance. I highly recommend this company which actually lowered my year premiums and is less then last year's premiums. If you looking for quotes or any assistance call 909.797.1141 and ask for Darlene Mejia Email: INSRNC@AOL.COM DOI #0747476 Fax: 909.790.1184 read more

Jodie Lewis at Gilmore Insurance in Yucaipa will now be our go-to insurance broker. Recently, we had to switch a homeowner's policy with Gilmore to a renter's policy. The quote that came back was much higher because of changes to the California Fair Plan. She actually told me to call a friend of hers at another company to see if their rate was lower. Jodie was willing to lose our business to make sure that we had the best price possible. Jodie is honest, has integrity and provides great service. We will certainly be using her for our insurance needs moving forward! read more

Darlene at Gillmore Insurance is an absolute angel! Out of the blue this week, we received a homeowner insurance nonrenewal notice from the company that has insured our home since it was built in 2017. The reason given for the nonrenewal was "located in a high brush exposure area" due to California's recent increase in wildfires. Scrambling to find a different insurer for our property, we were hitting brick walls. Each insurer we called was unable to offer coverage for our home, despite the fact it is in a newer, gated, active adult community with plenty of defensible space surrounding it and our neighbors' homes. It was frustrating because, although some of the homes in our neighborhood are less than a mile or so from the foothills, all of us have drought-tolerant vegetation, very little shrubbery, and virtually no tall trees. We decided to call a local independent agent for advice and found Gillmore Insurance Agency on Yelp. When we told Darlene of our dilemma, she went into action. While still on the phone, she began searching a network of insurers who could possibly provide us the coverage we need. She explained every detail along the way, even advising us we might have to resort to getting coverage from The California FAIR Program, but that she would walk us through the process either way. She was down to earth and reassuring. Then, just a few hours later on the same business day, we had a written quote from an admitted insurer based in California AND the premium is even less than what we were paying before! We accepted the next day, she sent us the documents to sign, and by midnight we had our new coverage. Thank you, Darlene, and thank you Gillmore Insurance Agency. read more

Excellent service on home insurance. Fair price and friendly service. Mobile home insurance

Jodie Lewis was so incredible with her knowledge and caring about insurance. She helped us so much obtaining homeowners insurance in an area where insurance is sketchy because of fires and floods. She spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get us the best deal and get us insured where we had reached a dead end. She was also aware of some of the traps that insurance companies have the insurer fall into. Even after everything was done she called us back about a month later to follow up and make sure that we had gotten when we had paid for and that it was the best deal that we could get. She's a very caring person and a wonderful contact for anything having to do with insurance. read more

Exceptional service! I recommend them for all insurance coverage especially for high brush areas

We received a non renewal from our insurance pacific speciality for being in a fire area even though we are not in the red. Gilmore was very sympathetic to our position and worked on getting us the best rate. It took a lot of phone calls with our work schedules but they kept on it and we were able to get insured. Afterwards they sent a nice hand written thank you card. That's something that used to happen all the time. Companies cared if they were able to gain your business. I haven't seen a company care about keeping or gaining your business in a long time and I appreciated it. It's nice to have an agent that gets to know you and it's personal instead of just being another customer. Nobody has any control over the California fair plan rate but they were able to get my other house insurance $400 cheaper a year than what I was paying. read more

Darlene was terrific. When we could not find insurance due to the brush behind our home she took charge. She got on the phone with different insurance companies and kept me posted. She was able to find the coverage we needed. I had called several other insurance agents prior to calling Gilmore. They either would not insure us or did not call us back. I have lived in Yucaipa for 26 years and never had insurance so inexpensive with the coverage that we need. My boyfriend and I just bought a house and were seperately paying $175.00 per month for his insurance and $65.00 for my insurance. I saw a positive review on Facebook and decided to check it out. By combining our cars we pay only $150.00 per month for both of our cars. We are saving $1080.00 per year :) I would recommend this company to everyone :) read more
