Every single time I attempted to cash in a winning scratch-off ticket, I was told they "don't have any money" and could not pay out the prize. Instead, I was told I could only use the winnings to buy more scratch-off tickets. Refusing to pay out cash winnings--even small amounts like $2 to $10--is not acceptable and defeats the purpose of playing the lottery. As an authorized lottery dealer, they are expected to pay out valid prizes. Being repeatedly denied cash and pushed into buying more tickets feels unprofessional and misleading. If you sell lottery tickets, you should be prepared to honor the winnings properly. Until this issue is addressed, I won't be purchasing lottery tickets here again and would caution others to be aware of this practice.

The convenience store is also pretty small but they pack in plenty of beer and junk food. There is a little cooler with milk and some microwavable sandwiches, etc. plus a coffee pot. Aldi…read morepromises to refund AND replace their everyday products that customers are not "100% satisfied" with. This was our first time to return an item under this guarantee. We have been shopping at Aldi for years. My husband took back a badly squashed loaf of bread that we bought through curbside. It was placed in the bottom of the bag. The bread was not useable in our opinion. The manager said no refund it wasn't that squashed. They had my husband to put the not quite squashed enough loaf back on the shelf and pick another one. My husband has better things to do than return a loaf of bread. He wouldn't have returned it if we could use it. But we needed one that was not smashed. They did not honor the 100% satisfaction for any reason guarantee. This was very disappointing. I hope this store is not going downhill.
