I ordered a double espresso which was bold & smooth as you would expect & ordered the bacon breakfast wrap. The wrap is HUGE but majority of the bacon was undercooked, which was a bit disappointing since I was really looking forward to it. I had to take most of the bacon out of the wrap as a result. Nothing was terrible, I enjoyed the espresso but the wrap was not quite what I had hoped for. Plus there was a little wait time with picking up my order despite ordering ahead & I was already on a tight time crunch. This was my first Cafe Kabul experience. I'll have to give it another try in the future because the indoor/outdoor seating areas are inviting & can see they have plenty of other delicious drinks to choose from.

There's on street parking on the block it's on and surrounding blocks. There's also an abandoned store across the street with a small lot, which is where I wound up parking. The space is small but I didn't have any trouble finding a seat, though I imagine that might be a different case later in the day or during peak study time for the students. I got an ube iced coffee special with oat milk, and impulsively ordered the breakfast burrito too. I figured if they have shirts advertising the burrito, it must be good. The decor is very trendy and chic and well-curated, and you'll feel super hip hanging out here. The coffee was alright but my shot was a bit on the bitter side - assuming this was just a one-off. The breakfast burrito lived up to the hype. Fluffy eggs, perfectly crispy pressed tortilla, a flavorful aioli generously slathered all over the plate. Definitely one of the places to come (if not THE place) in Syracuse if you want a breakfast burrito. Unfortunately for me, the WiFi was down when I went, so I couldn't actually do my work and didn't stay long. Womp womp. Perhaps unavoidable, but definitely not ideal for a coffee shop. I wish I'd brought a book with me that day or had more time just to spend, because I'd say this spot is great for silent reading and unplugging more than working or socializing. The creekside matcha was decent, good color, not overly sweet. It lacked a little of the oomph I look for in a good matcha, it was a little light on flavor. We ordered a regular oat milk latte, an iced matcha latte and also grabbed one of their $1 "day old cookies" they had out. My husband said the oat milk latte had a great espresso to milk ratio and the "day old" banana split cookie did not taste stale at all and was delicious. My matcha was a bit on the lighter/mild side for the matcha taste and I'd probably get something different next time as their specialty drinks looked really tasty. The yuzu silk matcha was also very nice - smooth with a citrusy finish from the yuzu. Neither the matcha flavor nor the yuzu flavor were overpowering - very balanced.
