They have everyday specials and Monday was $1 off a melt, I checked the menu and decided to go with just a simple grilled cheese. It turned out a little More than "simple", I asked for all the different cheeses on my sandwich... which were then toasted and when it came out I had them put tomatoes, onion and pickles on. It was really very good! It was also a great deal, $5 minus $1.00 and I had a nice sandwich for $4 + tax! You can add on chips and a drink and anything else since this convenience store had plenty of options to choose from.

Thought I'd reviewed this spot long back but just found this baby hanging out in my drafts. :D…read more I'd passed this place a million times, and had even popped in to grab a snack once or twice, but somehow it escaped my attention that this place has such an impressive craft beer collection. Probably because you'd never expect it. This is a random convenience store in the middle of Eastwood, small parking lot, no gas station, but their beer selection is truly legendary. They stock a ton of craft beers at really great prices. This is the cheapest in the area that I've found one of my favorites, the Brooklyn Brewery Bel Air Sour. They have a ton of other options too, making it hard to choose! I tried a guava sour, and enjoyed it. The snack selection is on-point, too. While they carry the standard convenience store fare, they also sometimes stock interesting options like Haribo smurf gummies and pre-packaged Italian rainbow cookies. My one gripe about this place is that it's small, and when there are several people inside it's hard to distance, so I usually just skip it if there are more than two or three people when I arrive. Not going to deduct stars for that, because the owner can't really control that, and this store really goes above and beyond in every other way. What a gem! I'm so pleased to have found this spot.

The employees are super friendly and quite nice...Kudos to them. Of course, there is gasoline ad a car wash offered as well. There is a manager whom I have dealt with who I can only describe as an irritable, stubborn and completely inappropriate person for the job. Numbers are important as are people skills, which he has none. My review does not take this malcontent into account.

Just as I put my groceries on the conveyor, this woman comes from the office and decides to do some type of audit on his register- he could not wait on me until she was done, I just looked at her in amazement, "you really have to do this now" she didn't even hurry as I stood there staring at her waiting for her to do whatever the hell she was doing so that eventually I could have the privilege of paying for the things i was buying. Previous visit I asked someone if they still has some of a sale item that was empty on the shelf, asking her if she could check the storage room and she responded "if it is not on the shelf we dont have it, that is all i know" Now think about it folks, when someone says "thats all i know" how can it be true??? they knew how to come and work and give you a hard time, then knew how to get dressed...what it really means is "screw you I do not want to help you.. I just want to do the minimum and get paid for being a crappy employee! Sorry for the tangent, bottom line is this is not always a pleasant place to be and should be reserved for when you dont have time to go somewhere better.
