I look it up, Illinois accepts credit cards, let alone debit cards and gift cards (which are both basically cash). So he LIED. He goes on and on, "I don't care what the website says." My problem is not that he didn't accept it, is that he lied and went from saying it's illegal in the state to it's just his store policy, which was also probably a lie. There was no writing/sign in front of the lottery tickets that said they don't accept credit/check, which if businesses don't, they always have a sign. He says, "I don't need a sign in it's the book." You mean the 'book' that no customers get to see meaning you get to just spew random lies? No, that's not how it works. So my point is he was making it up and just didn't want to sell me lottery tickets. If it your store policy, put up a sign and don't lie and make a fool out of yourself. With the review of him stalking a customer for stealing when that customer was just reading labels, sounds to me like the Better Business Bureau, and 7-11's corporate offices should hear about this. Until then, don't go there. Instead of making money he lies and insults customers and doesn't deserve any business. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
