I don't live in Ohio now and this happened almost two years ago. I started the review then but was almost afraid to post it. Today I was cleaning up my drafts and I decided that this one deserved to see publication. So, flashback: I bought a few packs of nuts never thinking that they would not be gluten-free. When I went to return them I realized I had no receipt-- but I did have them in a bag and I used a card and I scanned rewards etc. The cashier insisted that she would not take them back because I "probably just stole" them. I was on a DoorDash pickup so I tossed the bag on the counter and said "just keep them." She complained about me and I was deactivated. That same employee ended up harassing me at a restaurant. "See !$&@!, I hurt you." She said to us as David and I sat at First Watch. I stared at her before I said "Thank You." The amazing thing is that I had only great things to say about this location. What changed? I dyed my hair green and was suddenly no longer "okay." I never went back.

Customer service in the automotive section at the Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio Sams' Club is non existent!…read moreI waited almost a half hour trying to just buy a marine battery for my boat and the people in automotive refused to wait on me. I had two different sale associates literally pounding on the door and windows to get someone to help me and they were ignored also. One of the sales associates even called a manager to try to get help and that accomplished nothing. I ended up walking out with nothing. Absolutely pathetic. I work in retail and if I did that to my customers I would be fired!

The service building has 3 bays for big-rig repair, and like all T/As in North America, it seems they are always running service and tire specials. The Country Pride restaurant is spacious and has a full menu to choose from. I have dined there twice recently and found the food to be fairly priced and of adequate quantity. While visiting…read moreI went through the drive thru and greeted the worker and let the attendant know that we (passenger and I) were unsure what we'd like to choose and it would be a minute. After we decided we waited for the attendant for 10 min, another car came through so we circled around and witnessed the attendant wait on the new car and return to the booth. At that point another worker came waited on us very politely. At the end of the transaction the original attendant came to the window and said "never come back here again." When I asked why he rotorted "because I said so!" And closed the window. Once again, we were not rude, we were not hostile, we just wanted to support local. That man will get his wish as I refuse to support his local business.
