The line from the counter stretched all the way back to the door, which gave us plenty of time to people watch and admire the beautiful space after picking our drinks. The baristas were friendly and welcoming. The line was moving slowly - a combination of people asking questions and an ordering process that seems a little inefficient (we noticed they were tracking available pastries on Post-It notes). Our drinks were available quickly, and they were delightful. I had the spiced orange chai with oatmilk and my husband had a gingerbread latte. My chai was sweeter than I would prefer, but now I know that for next time. Everything in the pastry case looked incredible. We passed this time because we had finished breakfast. I'd be interested in coming back in the evening to try some of the cocktails. I think they have some kinks to work out when they're busy; overall, it was a good experience. I might've ordered a different drink if I'd known that, it sort of sold me! The food was good, we ordered the dumplings, cinnamon roll, raspberry rhubarb pop tart, and tiramisu. The best thing of all was the cinnamon roll, the tang of the cream cheese icing kept everything from being too sweet. The tiramisu was beautiful presented and the cream was fantastic, the lady fingers were over soaked in strong espresso, we couldn't finish that element. The pop tart was lovely. Couldn't tell if the dumps were frozen or homemade but they tasted good, and we loved the carrot salad they came with. All in all a great experience, and will be wonderful to return to in this warm season with such a nice double decker patio!
