The parking lot is trashy. It's got trash all over the place. The lights are hit or miss and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired although I know they're probably stressed and I know there have been a lot of burglaries around this area and a lot of issues with being able to use cards. So it's not always a good thing here. During the daytime I would still use this location in the late evenings now probably not. Went to Speedway to get a slushy drink. There were 4 people in line, one cashier working as the other one chatted with her friend/customer, got caught up on life gossip as we all stood there waiti g. More clients came in behind us It was the msnager who couldnt tear herself away from lengthy gossip to wait on the growing line. Customer service is non existent. Thank god there are 2 other speedways within 1/2 a mile because Deneen has made it the worst experience ever since she was hired. She is constantly rude to customers and is always snapping at someone. She ignored countless people and yells unnecessarily. Just now, she yelled at a woman for trying to use a $20 bill to pay for some fruit snacks, claiming she couldn't break the bill. Why was that warranted and how was that the customer's fault? And half the time when I am getting checked out by her, she snaps at me to move my card closer for her to scan even though I always have it stretched out as far as my arm can reach without shoving it in her face. She is so incredibly rude and needs to be fired. read more

The food here is clean I can say that at best. The manager however is a complete jerk. She cusses out anyone that slightly inconveniences her she kicks anyone out that she just doesn't like. She's called me out and made fun of me for getting a slushy in the morning. The outside is always littered with trash. The inside is clean though. Bathrooms have a pungent smell. I straight up refuse to go here anymore. Deneen has been consistently rude and abrasive multiple times. She argues or makes unnecessary comments about whatever you buy, which makes for an uncomfortable experience. Only giving this review one star because I cannot give zero. I work nearby and go to this gas station every once in a while and every single time I am treated terribly and given rude remarks by the manager Deneen. She has a rule at her gas station you can only buy one carton of zyns at a time and she has had that rule for well over six months now even though every other gas station I have ever been to does not have this rule.. She also would stand at the counter and not help customers on purpose and then when I asked to be helped, she angrily says "yeah. I see you" And huffs at me and then turns her back again to continue talking to the other employees. I have also seen her get into altercations with other customers or tell people "get out of my way" when they are trying to get a drink from the drink section and she is walking past them. Every time I go into this location, she always has some nasty remark to say to somebody whether it be me or another customer. I went through the reviews on yelp and it seems that almost every review is about her in a negative sense and I'm not sure why she is still employed at this gas station. Deneen was terrible to me this morning. I had my hood on when walking in and she asked me to take it off, so I did and apologized. Then I grabbed my couple of drinks and went to check out. She asked if I had a speedy card and I said I didn't think so but then saw a spot to put my phone number in so I did and she goes "I just asked if you had one and you said no". She rolled her eyes and was clearly annoyed. I don't think I will stop here again. Rude employee decided she wanted to huff, puff, roll eyes, and tell me how much she isn't a fan of doing lottery, especially at 8am "y'all just be going crazy already this morning" as she takes the scratch off winner from my hand in an oddly aggressive manner. Also she informed me your company policy is to not cash any lottery tickets over $50....EVEN IF IM SPENDING $110 and don't want any cash back. Letting lottery commission know as well. read more

Deneen. I have never met someone who is so terrible at customer service. And so consistently awful. I don't think she's ever had a good day based on attitude. This Speedway as well as the one on West 38 th street are both terrible in customer service and cleanliness. Their restroom is never available for customers buying gas or drinks. I have been a Speedway rewards member for many years and I am appalled. read more

I stopped by this location today and pre-paid for $100 worth of premium gas. While pumping, the gas pump shut off. I waited a while to see if it would resume for which it didn't. So I went inside to inquire and was told I would only be charged what was pumped. I requested a receipt for that amount in case their was an issue with the charge since I pre-paid and was told no that the money would be refunded "in a few hours". A female worked approached and stated it doesn't matter if I pre-paid that I would only be charged for what was pumped. I asked for the name of someone I could contact if there was an issue with the charge and the employee stated "I am the manager" as she grabbed her name badge "Daneen" and rolled her eyes. I replied "you wouldn't have that attitude if it was your money" for which she replied "I don't know who you think your talking to like that". Customer service is lacking as a simple apology or feel free to call if there is an issue with the charge. I don't care if my car ran out of gas in front of this location. I would push it down the street to the next gas station. This location will not get another dime from me when they continue to employ individuals like this. Restrooms were blocked with merchandise. No notices or apologies. Before 9:00pm. Not sure what the problem is.

When I'm dodging a filthy parking lot and dealing with rude employees who won't speak to you or acknowledge you at the counter I have to deal with beggars and panhandlers out at the pumps. The location down the street is smaller but at least they present themselves better read more

Never treated so rudely by an employee, and I believe a manager, at this location. Deneen, or Deena, not sure, harassed me for of all things putting the wrong lid on a cup. I told her to leave me alone and then she told the cashier not to serve me. I believe this is the same person that a previous review was talking about. In the fairness of COVID, this happened about a year ago, but I have made several attempts to give them the benefit of the doubt. So, I stopped in one morning filled up my gas and if you buy a car wash you receive a bunch of speedy points. So, I buy the car wash and no receipt prints. I went inside and stand in line d we'd hike the manager lady is berating another employee. I explain to her my receipt didn't print. She prints one off and hands it too me and it's not my receipt. I nicely explain to her about the car wash I just bought and I need the receipt so I can get car wash. She tells me she cannot print off any more receipts and I needed to take my problems up with Crew Car Wash next door. I said I bought the wash from this gas station and Crew wouldn't do anything about it. She says the receipt machine has been printing fine and didn't know what kind of game I was trying to pull, and told me I need to come back some other time because she didn't have time for my mistake. So I left because I obviously wasn't going to get anywhere with her. I called the corporate headquarters and explained the situation, they tell me they cannot do anything because it's handled at the store level and they don't want to overstep the store. So I call the store again and the d as me lady answers and we go back and forth. I call headquarters again and ask for a supervisor. The supervisor finally tells me she sees the charge on their computer but the store has to provide the receipt. She calls the store and has to argue with the manager about this whole situation. Long story short, over 3 days and many waisted hours I still had to go back to the store to face the same mean lady for my receipt. I have been to this gas station a few times since then and the receipt machine still didn't work, but I hadn't bought a car wash so I didn't care. The same mean lady still works there. Honestly it has been months since I have been to this store, I have only been there to buy kerosene when it's cold for fuel oil because they are the only ones that sell it around here, other than that I will not go here for anything else. I have called to complain and even written a letter to the corporate office and never received anything back. read more
