Twice, I got in there and felt like I was more of an irritating problem than a paying customer. So far, on 2 occasions, it's been the same lady. I don't know her name, but she wears a ton of makeup and has Gray strands in her hair. But she seems younger. I often have to wait for her to validate my existence. No, hello. No, greeting, just stand there, staring out the window, waiting for me to do my thing like she doesn't even want to look at me. The one time I had to wait for her to finish her cigarette break and chatting with another employee outside the doors while I just stood there in a store all by myself. Wondering when they were going to come in. I hate going to the store because of this. I only go there because I use lowes foods points for my gas discount. Speedway, on Carolina Beach Road, past monkey Junction. It's definitely the only store I'll be going to I always feel like an actual customer there. They acknowledge me, say hello, at least at the minimum, they do that. I enjoyed going to the other store now.Because I know my experience will be horrible at the Gordon road location.

I'm mentioning this cuz I had to a very Wierd maneuver to turn and get back going north on hwy 17. This Exxon did have nice grass areas if you're traveling w dogs. It also had a big wrap around parking lot if you needed a break from driving . You can chill out there. I ohecked 2 sqeegee buckets and the tool was dried out and not one drop of water in either one. After a few interactions, we also started getting our truck serviced here. They have been extremely ethical in recommendations for repairs and the pricing has been very fair and affordable. It's clear they care and know what they're doing and have always treated us well. The last issue we had we decided to take it to the dealership because we thought something was really wrong because of the squealing and pause when pressing the accelerator. They said it's just moisture on the belt, it's humid here, and the truck would be fine once the engine heated up. During the inspection at Midas, we mentioned the issue. They looked up our truck and found a notification that our issue was a known issue with our timing belt and told us what it would cost to fix it. It ran perfectly after they performed the repair our dealership blew off. I highly recommend this Midas for inspections and as your neighborhood mechanic.
