Starbucks and Mc Donald's are close, small market and a burger joint next door. One change machine so bring your own just in case. It gets 4 stars because it opens at 6 am on weekends. DO NOT USE THEIR FLUFF AND FOLD SERVICE!!!!! WORST PLACE EVER! I used to use their fluff and fold service years ago and they ruined a few clothing items and took absolutely no responsibility for it, so I stopped using their service and did my own laundry for many years. However, this past weekend I was extremely busy and will be busy all week due to a move to NYC coming up. I desperately took my clothes to them for the fluff and fold service and guess what? Since the change of management(new owners?) this laundromat has been horrible. Prices are way up(okay probably because of inflation) and the dryers are on low heat. About a year ago, 50 cents would dry up your socks and underwear good. Now, $1 won't even completely dry and when you complain to the attendants(the lady in the day, the guy in the afternoons), they tell you it "works" but they don't. My toaster is hotter than some of these dryers. Oh and a lot of dryers are not working and some washers aren't as well. read more

Here's a little secret that most people miss, this place has limited hot water. The front loading wahsers can't be checked to see if the wash is actually a hot wash but, I know now. In most cases you're getting a luke warm/cold wash at the very best. I tried several washers and always the same results. The machine starts with good hot water then fills in the rest with cold water. Almost all their washes are cold washes, except when you find the machines that have a heavy soil setting. This has been a good place as far as being clean. However one of the employees is RUDE and yells at guests. He's the old taller guy, possibly the owner. I had seen it happen in the past when they asked for change in the middle of switching machines from washer to dryer. The cut off for last load is 9pm, and they close at 10. They asked for change around 9:15 because they were DRYING not starting a new load in the washer. He proceeded to harass them about starting earlier and being prepared because they close at 10. I was shocked since they had 45 mins till closing and drying only takes 26 mins tops. Today it happened to me. I got off work at 8:30pm and had my laundry already loaded in my trunk since before work. I got in at 8:42 and loaded my machine and that was that. But I was short 50 cents so I asked to change $5 in change. Suddenly he's harassing me about how come I always wait until 9 to show up?! I normally come during the day, usually no later then 7 and I was starting before cut off time. I just took the change and said don't worry I won't be back. Couldn't believe it. He wants business but treats ppl like this, like they broke a law. Don't want ppl in until 10 then change your hours. And don't harass ppl giving it a 10-20 cushion either. This isn't a super fancy laundry mat, but there is always parking. There is always an attendant to help you out. There are always dryers and washers available. Never have to wait! Plus they have a washing service, so if your in a hurry and don't have time to wash your cloths(or hate doing laundry like me) you can drop it off dirty cloths in the morning and the same day you can have your clean cloths folded and hung for only $1 a pound. They are excellent at wash & fold, the best actually in Sunland-Tujunga area. read more

This place is something else. The tall old man yelling at Me for asking why inside the machines aren't clean while I proceed to show I him every item I pulled out of the wash claiming it's my kids stuff... hey blind man my kid is 5 she doesn't know how to spell or write her numbers so well yet. Then instead of offering a free wash because god knows everything I pulled out I had to waste more money to re wash. Then proceeds to tell me he'll kick me out .. please try if I ever go back, I offered to call the police to kick me out he got quiet real quick . They need young people running this place the old man doesn't know how to run a business . Not only does he yell at customers me being one of them, he takes up all the big dryers and one big folding table. You have a back room for a reason let customers use the tables outside. Great place for coin wash laundry. Family owned business Shant the son is always there taking care of anything you need. I also use their fluff n fold service and never have a problem. Shant picks up and drops off whatever I need taken care of. Definitely best laundromat in the area! read more

Nooooo, they took away the arcade games!!! Everything else is still awesome, but the day I walked in and saw that the owners had taken out the games for 2 more driers....I shed a tear. Definitely a coin laundry mat I will recommend. I think all coin laundromats are pretty much the same, but one day I was a little low on my laundry cash and wasn't able to dry my clothes and the owner, well I'm not too sure if it was the owner, but definitely somene that worked there gave me $0.75 to dry my clothes. The cool part was it only took $0.50 to dry my clothes so I got to keep the remaining $0.25 thanks. read more

George is legitimately the MVP of business owners in Tujunga. He takes painstakingly good care of his machines. How I know this is I use a container of wipes for every laundromat visit. And I found myself wiping the machines and NOTHING came off! I have used laundromats everywhere, and this was the first time they were spotless. Their fold service is grossly underpaid. That's unfortunate since the customers are getting near perfectly folded and bagged. The murals are all George's as well, what talent! I have used other places in town, and the broken machines. The place is clean. The owner cleans the machines after each load. And I've never seen dryers that dry so fast in any other laundry place. Also, the prices are good and there is always parking. read more

Sometimes when I don't feel like doing laundry I will drop it off and have them do it It's a little more expensive than doing it yourself but it is well worth it with how nicely they fold and hang your clothes. read more

I am glad I read the reviews on Yelp before I went to do my laundry. I went to Speed Wash because it had a four star rating and it definitely deserves it. I would give it 4.5 if I could. There was adequate parking for the Laundromat, the machines, folding tables, sinks and floors are kept clean. There was an attendant on duty to assist the clients. There is a flat screed TV set up so that you can watch when you fold. The atmosphere was pleasant. There was adequate seating. The cons- The benches are metal and a bit painful to sit on if you have a bony butt, and they are in the front window where the sun hits during the hottest part of the day. read more

This is a really great laundromat. After moving from a house with a washer and dryer to one without, I didn't want to spend money right away on a washer or dryer. They open early at 6 am and the wascomat machines are the best. They have cameras and the owner or a worker is always there so it is safe. I have tons of laundry but am in and out once a week in an hour and 15 minutes. Great place. I find it is more efficient to use the laundromat than do laundry at home. I'm new to the area and this is a great find. Affordable, clean and the guy who works there was very helpful. Dryers are killer. I set a load for about a half hour but he suggested I check it after 10 minutes and he was right. Within 15 minutes a large comforter I tossed in was completely dry. My washing machine died recently and I went down here yesterday to make use of the Fluff and Fold service. I am sensitive to scents and really liked that they offered me an unscented option without my even asking. I got my clothes back today (24 hrs later) all dry and soft and neatly folded. My experience here was horrible. My parents took our clothes here because our laundry machines weren't working properly. They loaded up the machines and the dryers and folded all our clothes and my mom waited by the car while my dad brought the bags to load to the car. My dad checked to make sure that everything we had was brought out of the "establishment." But while my dad was loading the car, two large trash bags of ours were taken, filled with my clothes. Once I realized, I called the store and asked if we left anything there or if they noticed anything. They said we could check. So my mom went down there and saw our bags but not my clothes. Someone had stolen my clothes and put other clothes in the bags. I asked the owner if they had any video from the cameras within the store and the cameras had stopped working exactly at the time that my parents left, so no one knows who stole the clothes. So I guess the one star can reflect the fact that their washers and dryers work. read more

As far as laundromats go I remain impressed by the business and the owners. There is plenty of parking, there are lots of machines and they all work well, As long as its open, there is an employee in attendance to monitor/clean/maintain and provide change. They do "Fluff & Fold". In the local area, they have free pickup and delivery. Same day service if you call before noon. They charge a buck a pound, and do a nice job cleaning them. They are delivered folded, if needed they are covered and on hangers, Now, keep in mind that I was ready to spend 2-3 hours doing this myself. It would have cost me at least $15 bucks in quarters plus soap and other stuff. The laundry adventure would have cost ee $20 - $25 and 2 - 3 hours of my time. You know what I paid for this service? $35.00. That's right, $35. I didn't have to lug all the clothes to the car. I didn't have to sit in the laundromat guarding my clothes. I was able to pay the bill with PayPal. read more

I was going there for a while until I found out about their pick up and delivery.I scheduled a pick-up.They did not show up so we called the owner and he had said that he was on his way and would be there in 20 minutes.30 minutes later,no one had shown up here.He said his son had came by,yet we didn't receive a knock on our door.very poor delivery service.I have now switched laundrymats to the coin laundry in the subway parking lot across from where Trader Joe's used to be.There is always a washer available and friendly service.They also have new front load washing machines for $2 a wash. read more
