I'd been dropping my clothes off for the Wash N Fold service for years 5+ years. It was extremely convenient for my busy life. First, I had to stop dropping off my whites because they would return pinkish and/or dingy. Then, I looked past missing or damaged items for the sake of convenience. Now they've lost my ENTIRE load (15lbs). When I went to pick up my clothes, they tried to convince me I had already picked them up, and gave every excuse in the book. I asked for the video tapes to be rewind to see what happened, they agreed. I waited patiently. After a month of going back and forth, they said it's been too long to rewind the tapes past 30days to see what happened to my clothes. They offered "$50 store credit" for the loss... they must be out of thier minds!!! We finally settled on an semi-agreeable recompense ( I just wanted the situation to be over). I will not be going there again... unless I am absolutely desperate. read more

You get perks/points for using the laundry card which you have to pay for (put money on) to use the machines as the machines don't use your credit card. There's a sitting area for kids as well as well stocked vending machines and clean restrooms. This place has changed its name to Speed queen but I know it as Huebsch. Sadly, this place has gone downhill. It used to be my favorite place to do my laundry because it was really clean and all the staff were always nice and willing to help. I feel like I knew most of them. They were always either cleaning or helping people. It was just a nice place to be and unlike other washaterias. Not only is it a lot dirtier these days, the new employees are unprofessional and rude. I've been coming here for a long time, and they've always had a service called the "one-dry guarantee" that I have used on occasion. Not only did the employee on duty absolutely refuse to honor this, he even had the audacity to rudely ask me, "who are YOU to tell me how to do my job?" Can you believe that? I suggested that maybe he didn't know because he's new. He didn't care and still refused. He told me he didn't even have to be at work, started texting on his cell phone again, walked out of the store and left. I still can't believe the experience I had! This was around 11:15 PM on Tuesday, Sept. 14th. I tried to find someone else to help me but no one else was on duty so I decided to just pay to run my dryers again. Around midnight another employee came in and I asked if they still have the one dry guarantee. He said yes and apologized for the guy working before him. It was nice, but it was too late. I already paid for my dryers. And I didn't appreciate being spoken to so rudely. Some of the other new employees don't seem to want to work or help either. The store just isn't the same as it used to be, it seems a lot has changed. I hope they work on making sure employees are knowledgeable and willing to be helpful, and they really need to start cleaning the store up again. I started going to speed queen shortly after moving here and at first loved it. My interactions with the staff were always positive and mainly the reason why I would pass up some laundromats to go to speed queen. But on the 31st of December I had the worst interaction with the manager named Nicole. It was 5am when I decided to come in and wash for the end of the year. When I got to the door it wasn't opening and Nicole was giving me a dirty look as if I was wrong for coming to use the services that are offered there 24/7. She didn't wanna provide any assistance in my confusion on their $.99 laundry special, and when I told her she was being rude to me, she threatened to refuse my service. In an attempt to come to some resolve and make her aware of her behavior, I decide to call and ask for her boss, to which she continues to be rude and ask me how she can help me when I'm literally asking for her manager. This place is honestly a lifesaver for me cause I work late nights. Not only is it close, convenient, and 24 hours, it is also super safe feeling to get my laundry done late at night even at 3AM. Located right off Westheimer & Dairy Ashford this place is truly a gem. The place is really well lit and not dingy/breaking down like some other 24 hour laundromats I've tried out. They have large machines with fair prices, for the most part it's not busy but it really depends when you go. I've always been in the afternoon and it's been fine. They have over 100 machines so there's always availability. They have small medium and large machines so no matter how much you have to clean they can accommodate the amount. They also sell soap, dryer sheets, fabric softener, and laundry bags. Staff is nice and helpful when you need something and they have TVs playing if you need to wait for your clothes to be done. A/C is good so it's not an unbearable process they just don't have seats for you to sit because of COVID. Reloading your card is an automated process at a machine on the wall so you never need to bother staff, the reload is seamless and easy to get you on your way. read more

Most washers were "broke " which was BS, but the white female was extremely rude which made me get rude and raise my voice when I spoke asking a question. Because of COVID19 it seems they don't want people in the state but having all the broke washers sign is just for the person there to be lazy. She wasn't doing anything for the time I was there except signing that inventory came in. She stood outside for no reason even the floor needed to be swept, with debris on it. But, I guess the company can waste money for someone doing basically nothing on week day. This location needed some rules as far as kids running around but her attitude will surely make people go to the New laundromat in SW that has same brand washers and dryers off Beltway 8. I'm sure someone in this area, like the homeless people that walk in will get angry and because they have mental issues will cause a problem. I typically spend $40-$45 to do 3 large bags of laundry at the same time. It's easier than staying home 3 days to do it but I'm for sure not coming back and I have come for 3 years. I was contacted by a manager to apologize about me not being able to reach anyone when I first tried to visit this establishment. They also asked me to come back and try their facilities, which is what I did today. First if you have issues locating this business the are on the side of the shopping strip if you enter from Dairy Ashford you should be able to find it. The facility is well maintained and they have a wonderful waiting area with 8 iPads to keep the kids occupied and they have wifi as well. This is a coinless laundromat. So you must purchase a card and load money on it to use any of the machines. Every time I go here it seems that I have to go through an interrogation process just to get the code to use the restroom. I've been coming here for months and today I was really harassed as a paying customer just to get the code to the restroom (I think they change it daily). It's convenient due to the laundry card and tons of machines but EVERY TIME I feel like I'm being treated like a criminal just because I have a bladder. This is my first time coming to this location and just asking how the system works to the staff and they ignore you and when they answer you they give attitude. Prices are outrageous and they still charge you to get a card where you put your money and pay for the wash. As a customer you should be allowed to recharge your card to any amount but the system won't let you, minimum 5 dollars. Air conditioning is off as well and dirty . This place is a hidden gem! Never even knew they were here and read all the great reviews so we decided to give it a try. Our pipes burst during the winter storm, and we didn't have hot water for laundry, so we prepared ourselves to spend a few hours in a laundromat to wash and dry our towels and clothes. We had not been to one in years. This is not your average laundromat! It was unusually clean, it wasn't hot, stuffy, and dusty, the layout was really nice. They have a lounge with wifi and the machines are huge. I was actually excited to have a go at it. The lady working greet us was very empathetic to our situation. She told us about their drop-off service. Now we are hooked and use this every other week -- it saves us hours of work so we can do other important things like enjoying time with our kids and running errands! I especially want to tip my hat off to the woman who helped us. We're thinking she's the manager as she was training a new employee. Her patience and cheerfulness was heart-warming and it was just nice to see someone love what they do, eager to help newbies like us, and teach young employees with such kindness and grace.
