Dodge dealer had my vehicle for two days and told me it was needing a new AC Condenser ($1180 + tax) - they would not give me the break down on parts, labor, etc. I did not feel comfortable with that. After being recommended to C&C, I drove 45 minutes and took my vehicle for them to check out. They told me it would be $500 if they did have to replace the AC Condenser, but they did not think the AC Condenser needed replaced as sometimes it did push out cool air, just not consistently. They found out all it needed was an expansion valve!!!! Less than $200 to repair my car and it is perfect!!!!!!! I just came back from a long road trip and it worked as it did brand new, I would HIGHLY recommend taking your vehicle to them and well worth the extra drive. I own 4 BMWs and buying new parts for a classic German car can be a bit of a hassle as you will find yourself constantly weighing which parts to purchase based on their quality vs their affordability. These guys, they take that all away...and I'm not kidding. I know whatever I give them, they fix it and bring it back to an OEM spec all while doing it at a price that I almost feel guilty every time I come back. Let me give you an example... BMW part number 12317804266 is a massive 220 AMP alternator for a diesel X5 I need rebuilt. Brand new, they run anywhere from $400ish (cheap knock offs, which I won't buy) to around $1,200 OEM from the factory...I encourage you to google that part number listed and see for yourself.....but also, more importantly to go down there and see how much you'll save. They may not be the most talkative or engaging folks I've brought business to but I don't blame them. I wouldn't want to deal with me either...I can be a bit much, and sometimes admittedly I get lost in the details of whatever I'm interested in the moment......Like today - it's alternators.
