If you're a woman and you're okay with being treated like garbage, like you are beneath men, and like you're stupid, then by all means... visit this toxic, overpriced, manipulative, sexist, overrated "body shop" Scott is the biggest ( think other word for thorn) I have ever met! It took us a couple of weeks to figure out they were trying to manipulate us. Thankfully, I had never been involved in any type of accident that was my fault until this moment where I slid on some water and hit a curb. They did not have someone in their shop that could actually perform the service of fixing our car (it's a sports car) So they were doubling the price, and trying to find another body shop they could outsource it to, so they could still make a profit. Which honestly I would have been fine with because I wanted my car fixed swiftly and was willing to pay a little bit more to achieve that. The problem is, they were taking weeks to do this, just because they were trying to find who would do it the cheapest so they can make the most profit. During this whole three weeks that Babs had my car, they were not telling me what was wrong, what needed to be done, or giving us a price or anything. All while knowing this was my only way of transportation at the time with me having three kids and my husband out of town for work for the whole month. So I had it sent to Helton after speaking with the owners son and it sitting at babbs for THREE WEEKS WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT ALL IT NEEDED DONE. The co-owner of Heltons (his son) PROMISED me that they would not over charge me which they tried to do but in a different way than Babs (don't worry, they're overpricing will be addressed on their review, I have a copy of all the things extra they were trying to make us do to make a pretty penny) Helton was trying to make us do things such as change my back breaks which my husband had just changed about two months prior and they were literally not damaged at all! So after these two body shops tried to over charge us, I decided to file it on my insurance and they made the decision to take it back to Babs because they would not even consider working with Helton (that should tell you how overpriced they are right there). Then, somehow, after filing it on the insurance, the "guesstimate" price at Babs mysteriously became half of what they were originally telling me at that point (almost a month later mind you) they finally decided to hire someone to actually do it in their body shop. They had my car for over a month ( with the exception of it being moved to Hilton, but it was only there for three days). They did not contact me until I started going in there every single day and sitting and demanding answers. When we would call and ask about it, it was oh someone will call you back, but they didn't! There were things THEY did not know about my vehicle (such as which tires I had on it or whew I had gotten them), but instead of calling and asking, knowing that I was without my car... They took three days trying to research it themselves. When they could've simply called and asked because they were not familiar with the type of tires I have. They were to proud, to cocky. It is honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had! I hope something happens soon to get these peoples egos in check because they need it! My insurance chose this place because I had no knowledge of the body shops around here... Trust me, I know better now! And I hope this review helps you know better too. I would suggest calling the shops they were going to outsource so that way you can just pay them directly instead of going through babbs If you are self-paying customer. Also if you are paying to fix the damage is yourself instead of filing a claim on your insurance, look over the paperwork thoroughly and make sure that everything they are saying needs to be done, is actually a necessity. P.S. they got so offended because I wanted to put my car in valet mode ( for anyone, that doesn't know it changes it where the car will not go over so many MPH because it has a lot of horsepower). they told me if I didn't trust them with my business, I could take it somewhere else!!!! It was very dangerous! He was weaving and tailgating so close that he definitely would have rear ended the cars in front of him. Traffic was really heavy, and we were all trying to get over and out of his way. We understand he was rushing to a call, but reckless driving is a danger to everyone in his path. Most businesses want to know if a driver is a liability. I called to let their dispatcher know about their driver. The man that answered yelled at me saying the driver was going to a call and to "Get the fuck out of the way!" Before I could respond he hung up on me. Very unprofessional and hateful. If you record your calls, please pull it for review. I wasn't rude to him and didn't deserve his response.

I ended up lost in the dark, in the mountains, in the middle of the night, with my rear tire stuck in a trench on the side of a steep mountain due to muddy conditions. I received the assistance of ANGEL TOM SORENSEN when I called 911 for assistance. While my AAA failed me, TOM DID NOT! Tom patiently waited for me to try to see what was what with AAA and when we got NO WHERE, he worked with me to make the pain of payment less, got my Rental Car out of the trench, led me to my destination (about 3:30 AM), and made sure I was at the right location. God SURELY sent Tom to me and I thank Him and Tom most sincerely!!! I hope not to need such assistance again. The reason I decided to go to them is that a friend has been using them for a while to repair her older Honda Accord, and they always treated her right. I saw a review by someone else bashing them for lack of service, but I happen to know that a couple of members of their family had some heath struggles a while back, and with this being a family owned and operated business, that was unfortunate and difficult. My guess is that this person got impacted by that, which is a shame, but I can say without question, that it was unusual, and not the way that this business is run. They are honest, and reliable, and that is not only uncommon these days, but it is of great importance! I will continue to do business with them.
