We came in to get a 5 gallon bucket of an oil based paint. The woman, who is also the manager,…read moremixed it and the tint machine ran out of tint, so she had to mix it by hand. She did not test the paint before giving it to us, we just took her word that she was professional and knew what she was doing. When we got to the job site to paint, we saw that the paint was green instead of brown. We took it back, and this same woman spent thirty minutes deflecting blame and refusing to accept that she did the mixing wrong. Finally, she just made a new 5 gallon bucket after telling us it would "come out green again" and lo and behold, it came out the perfect tint of brown. Do not use this Sherwin Williams, this woman will make your entire experience terrible from beginning to end, and will refuse to own up to her mistakes.

after making an online order and receiving confirmation of it being pulled and ready, I showed up…read moreto the store to pick it up and find one of the items incorrect. after taking it back into the store, I was told that they currently didn't have the correct item in stock ,me explaining that it showed three currently in stock at that store. at that point I was.informed that it was obviously a mistake. But they would get one ordered in for me in short term.. my explaining that I had a crew on the job site , waiting for the materials that had already been paid for, yet unable to deliver. Knowing that the crew would still have to be compensated for their time. I asked to speak to the manager to express my frustrations.. with zero compassion he proceeded to play on his PC for about five minutes to inform me that it was in fact, correct that they didn't have one in store, but if given a little bit of time, he could possibly find one in store. After waiting approximately 15-20 more minutes I requested that the full order just be returned. ,at this point, I was informed of the fact that the money that I had paid shopping online to purchase the materials that were in stock wouldn't be returned to me for five days. leaving me with the financial obligation of paying my crew a minimum of one hour of labor but having to send them home do to no materials and having to come out of pocket to pay for the materials that I had already paid for on a confirmed purchase from Menards. The store managers sarcasm, and lack of compassion is compounded by my financial loss due to Menards mistake. I'm not in search of full compensation of my loss, but the sarcasm was definitely not welcomed. I'm not that ever write reviews, but this was constituted.

I have NEVER been talked to like that by an employee in my life! There were no signs on the door that you weren't allowed in and the doors were unlocked. The man who yelled at us and was so ungodly rude was Pierce, who claimed to be a manager. I will discourage anyone from shopping at this business, and I will be contacting the general manager about this experience! If there was a way to give zero stars, I would.

Thursday we were told a new one would be in by the following Monday and we could swap it out. Monday when we called to see if it was in we were told the new owners were not honoring old warranties. No call to notify us while she waited in her hot house for 5 days. Michael the manager and Vicky the purchaser pointed fingers at who dropped the ball and there was nothing the owners would do to help us. Horrible customer service. My father while alive spent all his time shopping at this store and this is how they treat long term customers. You lost our business and anyone else that will listen to how you treated our family.
