Spectrum... a masterclass in terrible customer service. Staff won't help walk-ins, only "appointments," and instead of explaining anything, they send you to another location. I feel they don't tell you everything you need to know when disconnecting from their service. Then when you disconnect anytime during your service month. They still charge you the whole month. Called them to get told, when you disconnected the other agent should have told you. I'll watch DVD before I go back to them. read more

They ate rude to customers ssywhatever they want to include name calling and profanity. They stand around and t takes over half hour to help customer. The y don't process bill payments. We are SHOCKED by the fact we had an excellent experience at Spectrum today. We would give 1 star for the help we received on the phone. But this review is about the center on Ash Street. My advice is--1. Make an appointment. They honored ours right on time. Have the confirmation number with you for when you check in. 2. Bring your recent bill that contains your security code if you don't know it. 3. If changing names on an account, both of you must go and bring ID or license. 4. If closing an account, bring all pieces of equipment with you. Marcia was super helpful. She took care of all our needs, double-checked our accounts, and was very pleasant. Do not trust these people at all! My brother brought his phone here for a trade in, in November and they have yet to added the credit to his phone account! when we came back in December to the store we asked them how long does it take for the phone to get shipped and when will credit be added they said once spectrum recieves the phone. The white women at the employee desk took his phone and dont know what she did with it. she said she shipped it off but they can never find the location where the phone is! so basically she stole the fuckin phone. Now he's stuck with the payment of the phone because of employees not knowing how to do their fuckin JOB!! worst soectrum store everyone needs to be fired for THEFT ! read more

This store is like walking into what I think a welfare office would look like. Custom service is a zero. I went to just turn in an old modem. There were several service employees there. They were playing and assing around slow as heck just didn't give a crap. I finally went up and asked them if they wanted this equipment back I had to go. The smart ass employee said you can either wait or send it in ups. Every time I have been in this store it's a joke. Very unorganized. Thug city. They suck! read more

The company does not have a way to drop off old equipment efficiently. I spent 30 min just trying to return an old modem. There should be a return bin for just this reason. Three people were actually working in the front helping customers and I counted two come from the back room that only came out in certain occasions. The third person stopped helping customers at one point with 10 people still waiting and statered to work on a machine in the corner. I finally gave up and left. i was told to send it by ups from the person from the back. Wow instead of taking the boxed return in store. I guess I'll use UPS. read more

the worst company around do not use there mobile service. they sold me a phone and the went out it would not charge or power on and come to find out the mother board is out on the phone the refuse to do anything about instead they sent me to Samsung and Samsung sent me to a ubreakit place another ripe off they didn't want to fix it so I sent it to Samsung who then decided that the mother was out but wasn't covered by factory. they sent me back to spectrum who decided that because I bought the phone in the store it's not covered. which does not make any sense at all. it's very sad my suggestion don't get a phone from spectrum read more

I went to turn in equipment and disconnect service before moving to a different state. Found out later on I was billed 2 more times and the system found nothing saying I disconnected service or turned in equipment. The customer service rep did nothing about it and didn't input anything into the system. Horrible service read more

Do you remember how happy you were when Block Buster went out of business? You should feel the same way when Spectrum goes under...idiots run the company. I'm sure the employees are capable, hard working people, and I wish them luck finding new jobs. I spent twenty minutes on the phone yesterday to cancel by non-working Internet. During the conversation, I learn that my ten-year-old modem no longer works with Spectrum's newer technology. I was told that they notified me that I was eligible for a free upgrade via flyers in my paper bill. I don't read my bill...I pay it online like most people. I decided that if it was too much trouble for Spectrum to ship me a new modem, rather than putting the onus on me to pick one up, that I really didn't care to continue my $100 per month Internet-service with them. So to add insult to injury, Spectrum tells me that in order to avoid equipment charges I need to drop off my (outdated and non functioning) modem at the local Spectrum office in Goldsboro NC. It turns out that "drop-off" means standing in line with new service and disconnect service customers. Forget the fact that I have already taken time to cancel my service over the phone with corporate. After a thirty-minute wait, they have only two assistants on duty to service the multitudes; I'm greeted by a snarky woman who asked me not to throw things on her desk...I placed the modem on the counter. I must admit, I wasn't anymore pleasant to her than she was to me, but she was being paid for her wasted time, I wasn't. If you need Internet or TV services...do yourself a favor, DON'T DEAL WITH SPECTRUM!!! read more

This is a general review of the billing practices of Time Warner as a whole. Looking at my invoice I noticed that Time Warner charges for a guide. I think this is awful. They are so hard up that they charge you $3.25 for a guide. When you buy packages with premium channels and just as principle the guide should be free of charge.
