The Verizon Rep was EXTREMELY patient and helpful, and got everything back up and running for me. This outstanding customer service is why I've stayed with Verizon for the last 25 years. This is more of a review on an individual than a store itself. They have a female cell rep there by the name of Mellisa. This young lady happened to be the rep that was going to assist me today if that's what you wanna call her doing. I had added two more additional lines to my account a week ago and was informed by Verizon customer service to take my old phones into the store and ask them to do a change of promotion form on my account where I would get additional money for the trade-ins of my two old phones. I explained to her what was going on six different times. She didn't understand what was needed to be done. Another gentleman walked over to assist her. She explained to him what she thought was going on. He looked at me and said is this correct? I said let me correct everything that was just said and she makes a sigh noise and rolled her eyes. I looked directly at her and said do you and I have a problem. At which point she said whatever. I'm sat back in her chair. I looked at the gentleman that walked over to help her and he said nothing to correct the situation in which we were in at this point. I picked up my two trade-in phones told both of them not to worry about it. I've done nothing but brag about how great customer service is with Verizon and they have completely ruined my experience with the company. And that I would be most likely canceling my account with Verizon and going to another carrier after six years of service with them on one account. And 26 years on my other account of consistent service. The sad part is I've been in the store several times and had nothing but exceptional customer service out of other team members. However, this one team member and her actions are not only gonna prevent me from ever returning to this store, but most likely cost Verizon company a customer that has been consistent with them on one account for 26 years and the other account for six. read more

I had originally went to an authorized reseller of Verizon but because some of the services I needed where only available from a cooperate store, I came to this place. Reception at the store Was never greeted, no sign up sheet, nothing. There was one couple in front of me being helped. There were 4 other employees that ignored me. 2 were having a conversation and 2 were on their phones. Eventually "James" broke away from his conversation and asked what I wanted. The service I wanted was to have a number recycled. James stated that only another co-worker that was not working that day could help. When I asked when the co-worker would be in store again, he said, "Sorry I cannot give out that information." To be clear I was asking when he was working again, not his home address and blood type. I told him I wanted a Samsung S21 he said they didn't have them in stock, only any iPhone. If I really wanted an S21 it could be ordered and would arrive at the store in 2 weeks and would cost me $800 and he was sorry, could not take my phone as a trade in. I know from the authorized Verizon reseller that would give sell me the S21 for $400 with a trade in, which I had also seen on the Verizon corporate web site. When I told him he said he sorry, I don't know where you got this info, but its not true. When I told him where the info came from, he said, sorry I couldn't help you. Avoid this place. read more

I would give zero if I could. Horrible! The man helping us knew absolutely nothing. Sat us down only to do the whole thing on the app on my husbands phone, which wasn't correct. After the cluster he has us do which was wrong, then spent forever on the phone with customer service trying to get it fixed, only to have to cancel the whole thing and start over. We were also charged over $200 thanks to this extremely unqualified man although the order was cancelled. Thankfully another store with proper training was able to help with the total cluster this man has us in. read more

This location need some corrective training. If I could give this location no stars at all, I would. I went to this location about 4/5 days ago. The representative I spoke with was not nice at all and she was quick to turn me away instead of fixing a simple issue I had with my cellphone. No I did not have an appointment and I did ask could I make one but she didn't even answer my question. I tried to explain to her that I was from out of town and that the Verizon rep I spoke with on the phone sent me there. She was so busy rushing me off and telling me to go the the other location. Explain to her again that I am from out of town and have no idea where Rosewood shopping center is. I even asked her for the address and she told me that she did not know the address. I looked at her in confusion and asked her could she look it up and she told me no. She had a Verizon company tablet in her hand, so I am pretty sure that she could had looked it up. The only Verizon customer that was standing outside was nice enough to help this disabled veteran out. He not only gave me the address but directions as well. I will say this though, next time I am in town and I have to go to Verizon, I will make the trip to Rosewood shopping center location instead. read more

My mother was recently trapped in NC due to hurricane Matthew. Trying to get back home to Virginia. She was traveling alone and she is 77 years old. She is NOT helpless. Unfortunately, the flooding stopped her in Goldsboro, NC. The people there were fantastic and were very helpful and just, well, wonderful. Because of her trying to communicate with family, etc. she had run low on minutes and power. (She needed help getting minutes and possibly a car charger.) She was directed to the Verizon Store in Goldsboro, NC. She goes to the store. When she asked for help, she was told that because she was out of state, they could not help her. That was it. Really?!?! International company with a store in every zip code could not help my mother!?!?! Who's been paying Verizon for years for service?!?!?! They denied her service; they denied her help. They OFFERED ZERO assistance. They offered ZERO alternative solutions. They as human being did not even offer her kindness. I really HOPE that this is just a reflection of THAT store and it's poor excuse for employees masquarading as human beings is isolated to this location! They receiveNO stars. This Verizon store was so helpful! My husband and I went in to get him a new phone and we were out with phone, case, and a new customer plan in under 30 minutes. My mother was having trouble with charging her phone. (appears to be dirty port, cleaned with air and seems ok now). She got zero help, just a litany of how Verizon wasn't responsible, from a rude female representative. Male representative nearby did nothing. When my mother had total mobile protection, and it was actually an easily fixable problem. Mom cancelled her insurance, hate the sunk cost of all those months she paid but I don't blame her.
