They have products that aren't the most current so you end up getting a decent deal (often times 30%) on products. They tend to carry retro Jordans (B-grade). The location is ok... I've worked for JC Penney in two different states, shop the chain regularly across the country, and this is the first Penney's I've ever seen that closed at 8 pm on a weekday!! Every other store closed at 9 (and some in Texas stay open until midnight during the Christmas shopping season! It was quite disappointing. You can get the same looks you see in Elle, Marie Claire and Vogue without the designer price tags. Their maternity wear is especially pretty and practical. When I was pregnant all the maternity-wear stores had deep vee neck tops and capri pants, with their only "work safe" garments in ugly prints and cheap, baggy fabrics. I came to Target and found fashion-forward pieces that were career-appropriate and didn't make me look like a fat, tacky frump. Target's cosmetics department has all the brands you'll see at drugstores and Ulta at competitive prices. Same for the fragrances; you'll find your fave celebrity name brand. Appliances? Get your Kitchenaid here. The cookware is good quality and lasts. Target is one-stop shopping for all your needs. Forget the mall - head for the red!

I've been going to this store regularly for a couple years and I've never once had a bad experience until he showed up. Now, the entire store is unorganized, messy, and generally unclean. I've asked about preorders for games and instantly tried to explain the entire game to me and why I should choose something else, something completely out of the genre to preorder. If I want to preorder Red Dead Redemption 2 on the PS4, I will. Do not suggest to me some children's game on the Switch. Do not make subtle sexist remarks about how I should play a game that is violent or something, I know exactly what the game is about. He constantly tries to push game warranties on me even after I've said no, he'll ask another 2-3 times each transaction even after I've said no. Numerous times he's asked if I want to round up my bill to the nearest $5 increment to put the rest of the money toward a preorder. There was even one time he did this without my authorization. It's gotten to the point where I will gladly drive an extra 20 minutes to go to the Spence Ave Gamestop in Goldsboro. There needs to be a lot of changes at this store before I go back. It's terrible.

Don't let the somewhat run-down strip mall locale fool you or put you off shopping. This is family discount department store great little piece of Americana. If you want to save money (and who doesn't?) you can definitely do it here. Fans of Dollar General, Burlington, Big Lots and ithet value chains will like Rose's. Much of the merchandise IS either close-out or irregulars, so keep that in mind as you shop. I bought two comforter sets for $12.99 each. One is still in great shape while the second's color completely washed out after one wash and left it as faded as if I'd left it hanging on the clothesline for six months. HOWEVER! This wasn't a big deal since I just wanted something for my bed that the pets could crawl over and save my good bedspread for company. Anyway, moving right along. I got some great Cannon bath towels for only $4.99 each, several pairs of Wrangler men's jeans for $11.99 per pair, and they're still looking as good as the day I bought them four months later. This is a great little place to browse and look for deals. Who doesn't like to save $$?
