I used their registry for my wedding in 1997, and their Egyptian cotton towels look as beautiful as they did when I got them. Target's clothing is stylish and affordable. You can get the same looks you see in Elle, Marie Claire and Vogue without the designer price tags. Their maternity wear is especially pretty and practical. When I was pregnant all the maternity-wear stores had deep vee neck tops and capri pants, with their only "work safe" garments in ugly prints and cheap, baggy fabrics. I came to Target and found fashion-forward pieces that were career-appropriate and didn't make me look like a fat, tacky frump. Not only did the self-check-out clerk humiliate me, but her manager did as well. All I wanted to do was get my groceries on my way home from a trip, and I was not allowed to purchase a couple of bottles of wine although I'm 53 years old and showed my ID. They insisted on seeing my daughter's ID, although she was not purchasing the over $170 worth of groceries in my cart that happened to include a couple of bottles of wine. By their logic, I should never be able to order a glass of wine at a restaurant when my daughter is with me. Does Walmart really believe that only childless people drink wine? I complained to their customer service department and over twenty-four hours later still haven't heard back from them. I don't want to give them even one star. If you have kids, I wouldn't shop there!!! UPDATE! This is the email I received from the corporate offices. NO APOLOGIES! I called and talked to the store's assistant manager and shared the email. He is doing nothing because he didn't see it happen. I will never buy paint or painting supplies anywhere else after this. We came in on Wednesday to purchase paint for our kitchen cabinets and discussed the various types of paint with the associate, who knew exactly what we needed. He asked if we were going to paint that day or if the job could wait, because paint and supplies were going on sale on Friday. This was deeply appreciated because we're retired seniors. The two gentlemen on duty Friday mixed our paint, helped us select the best rollers and brushes. We were able to afford top-of-the-line products thanks to this fantastic staff. Our kitchen cabinets are a beautiful shade of Splashy and we couldn't be happier. THANKS, GUYS!!!
